Job description

HR Manager- Mat Cover HR Manager role based in Salford- 12 Month FTC

Your new company

Salix Homes is a multi-award winning social housing provider based in Salford, Greater Manchester. They are a not-for-profit charitable organisation who put their customers at the heart of everything they do, from investing in their homes and communities, to ensuring every property meets a modern standard. Your new role This 12-month maternity cover role is responsible for leading the People Services Team and the delivery of the People Services Strategy for the organisation. The individual will act as an internal HR consultant to Executive and Service Directors to create and influence strategic solutions to positively affect the organisation's culture. This role is also responsible for the delivery of an efficient and accurate HR system, payroll and pension service for the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will have a strong HR generalist background who can thrive under pressure, adapt to and be flexible to the demands of the role. Key attributes include;

* excellent communicator
* internal coach
* a passion for all things HR
* expert knowledge of employment, payroll and pension legislation and rules
* strong project management skills

This role requires a self-motivated leader who can delegate and manage effectively and who thrives on change. They will be comfortable with a high level of autonomy and potential uncertainty and able to use their own initiative to adapt to changing work demands and complex challenges as well as experience of managing a HR team previously. What you'll get in return My client is offering a competitive salary of Up to £45,591 a year for 36 hours a week. Up to 33 days' holiday plus all bank holidays
