Summary of the role:
The Country Finance Manager (CFM) will provide strategic leadership and oversight of all financial management, compliance, and risk control functions for Muslim Aid’s Sudan Country Program. The role ensures financial integrity, accountability, and effective stewardship of donor resources in alignment with Muslim Aid’s global policies, donor regulations, and Sudanese legal frameworks.
As a key member of the Country Leadership Team (CLT), the CFM will contribute to strategic decision-making, institutional strengthening, and the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective humanitarian and development programming.
About the Role:
- Oversee the implementation of robust financial systems, controls, and reporting mechanisms.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for both HQ and donors.
- Oversee cash flow management, fund requests, and banking operations to maintain optimal liquidity.
- Ensure project financial reports for donor and partners are prepared according to donor requirements; submit reports to the regional office for review prior to submitting to the donor.
- Coordinate with the auditors to complete required statutory audits.
- Support Program Managers to strengthen networks in the Muslim Aid Sudan’s collaboration areas.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Educated to bachelor’s degree level. Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA Accountant.
- Understanding of development programmes design, implementation, and evaluation.
- Experience of successfully financial management and dealing with institutional donors and international donors.
- Proven experience and knowledge of effective budgetary control and grant management.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with people at various levels.

Reporting in to the Director of Finance and Corporate Governance, the Head of Technology & Data will champion the development, implementation, and use of information technology and data throughout Christian Aid, creating a culture of innovation and empowering IT users.
Some of the main areas of responsibility for the Head of Technology & Data include:
- Responsible for building, supervising and maintaining a highly available and secure enterprise infrastructure including 24x7 cloud servers, mobility and remote access services and Azure Active Directory.
- Develop a road map for the strategic development of technology and data functions which incorporates system upgrades, installations, and conversions to ensure smooth transitions and optimised functionality for all users.
- Manage ITIL compliant processes including change management and service transition striving for innovation, reliability, and alignment with organisational goals.

Reporting in to the Head of Policy and Influencing, the Global Influencing Lead provides strategic leadership and oversight of Christian Aid’s global advocacy work in global spaces to ensure advocacy achieves maximum impact.
The role fosters inclusive and collaborative leadership across diverse teams and geographies, ensuring advocacy is rooted in programme evidence, and theological reflection.
Collaborating with Programme and Partnership Leads, and working closely with partners and faith groups, the post-holder will develop joint strategies and manages global partnerships, including faith partnerships that strategically align.
The role will effectively manage Global and Pan African Policy and Advocacy Leads to coordinate, develop and deliver effective advocacy and matrix manage the Senior Gender Advisor. The role represents CA in global spaces and in global coalitions and acts as a media spokesperson.

The Community Fundraising Assistant (Ramadan Campaign) plays a crucial role during Ramadan. The role provides critical support in fundraising collections and events. The role will involve working occasional unsociable hours (weekends and evenings) and national travel, sometimes at short notice, during the Ramadan period to maximise our income generating opportunities.
About the Role:

About the role
Reporting in to the Head of Impact for the Multi-Country Cluster (MCC), the Partnership & Strategy Lead for the West & Central Africa region is s responsible for leading a team working across the cluster and across national boundaries, ensuring that the cluster has a wide and diverse programme portfolio of Civil Society partners contributing to Christian Aid’s global strategy and aligning with organisational values and goals to maximise impact.
The role spearheads the decolonised and localised approach across the cluster and ensures that programme delivery contributes to progress towards Christian Aid’s decolonial journey.
The post-holder will ensure that all work is carried out in line with Christian Aid partnership approach and standards, and ensures demonstrable best practice in programme delivery, including quality and consistency.
As a key member of the MCC Senior Leadership Team, the role collaborates closely with the other leads within the cluster and with global programme colleagues to ensure that advocacy is rooted in community experience for impact, and that learning is carried out in a way that is mutually beneficial to CA and our partners.
Some of the main responsibilities of the Partnership & Strategy Lead includes:
- Lead the cluster programme team to identify, foster and build potential new active and inactive partnerships (e.g. local partners, civil society networks, alliances and relevant government bodies) that can contribute to greater impact in the priority countries.
- Ensure efficient and effective management of Christian Aid’s programmes across the cluster by setting objectives that align to organisational values and goals and ensuring that grants and initiatives are co-designed, strategic and that they connect partners and communities across diverse geographies.

HIAS+JCORE is the UK Jewish voice on refugees and racial justice. Our work is driven by the belief that the Jewish community should play an active part in building a society in which Refugees are able to live in dignity where the UK is a welcoming place free from racism.
Our organisation came into this form through the joining of operations between two organisations: the UK-based JCORE (Jewish Council for Racial Equality) and HIAS, a global humanitarian aid and advocacy organisation. HIAS+JCORE is inspired by Jewish values and history to support those who are displaced, no matter their background.
JUMP is a London-based befriending project for young asylum seekers and refugees who have been separated from their families. The three primary ways in which JUMP supports young people are casework, community, and
befriending.
About the role
We are looking for a self-starting team member who will help coordinate this valuable project in London. You’ll be responsible for the befriending pairs and undertake tasks such as develop and maintain relationships with partner organisations, manage referrals for young people, recruit volunteer befrienders, and setting-up and sustaining pairs. This includes leading an initial training day.
Contact with befrienders is through monthly reporting, and bi-annual supervision (initially after three months for new befrienders); alongside ad-hoc communication on safeguarding or other urgent matters. Contact with young people is more regular and varies depending on their casework support needs.
Community events take place every three months and offer a space for all young people and volunteers to come together and celebrate the work they are doing on JUMP. You will need to attend these events, which can take place on the
weekend, and liaise with your cohort of befriending pairs to ensure everyone has the correct information.
JUMP also has Hardship Fund (HSF) available to young people who need financial support with travel, clothing, food vouchers, and phone contracts. We also have a small budget for miscellaneous payments, which in the past has included paying for emergency accommodation for young people facing homelessness.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting the running of our JUMP project in London, and overseeing and supporting up to 15 pairs, by:
Supporting young people and the JUMP Community
· Managing a caseload of young people;
· Offering casework support (e.g., related to housing, education; day-to-day needs; arranging legal intervention etc.);
· Where necessary arranging and attending appointments with the young person (GP, Home Office, Job Centre, and Legal appointments);
· Signposting young people to available support and intervening where necessary.
· Assisting in the planning and organising of group trips and events every 2- 3 months;
· Conducting initial assessments with young people to understand their needs, and once paired with a volunteer, hosting befriending initial meetings;
· Facilitating Hardship Fund payments to young people, including applications and approvals.
Supervising and supporting volunteers
· Organising and delivering JUMP core training to new and existing befrienders;
· Recruiting, interviewing and onboarding new befrienders;
· Supporting befriending volunteers through regular supervisions, meetings, emails and phone calls;
· Responding to applications from new volunteers and actively recruiting volunteers as required;
· Ensuring that volunteers uphold JUMP’s policies and boundaries for
befriending;
· Responding promptly to safeguarding concerns raised by volunteers.
Publicising JUMP, and engaging with key stakeholders
· Publicising the project to existing and potential referral agencies working with young asylum seekers and refugees who have been separated from their families;
· Establishing and maintaining excellent close working relationships with referral organisations;
· Representing HIAS+JCORE and JUMP in the refugee sector as required, for example at the Refugee and Migrant Forum meetings..
Project monitoring, evaluation and record keeping
· Working with experts and the Frontline Support Manager on supporting the project and its evaluation;
· Keeping accurate records in the JUMP database, including for safeguarding and impact evaluation purposes.
Other Duties
· Ensuring that JUMP informs our campaigns, communications and education work. As the project develops, there will be opportunities for the post- holder to contribute to and support these areas of our work;

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
The Office Manager will be a key member of the Helen Bamber Foundation Group. This is a broad role working with a wide range of staff and contacts within and outside the group. The postholder will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring that our office space and facilities are maintained in a safe, clean, and secure environment. They will have overall ownership of the office with regards to the day to day running and ensuring health and safety compliance, and with the support of their team. They will ensure our staff and clients are able to enjoy a safe and comfortable environment. They will be the main point of contact for I.T, Facilities and clients services across the group.
They will act as Site Safety Officer for the premises ensuring compliance with Health and Safety Procedures, as directed by the CEO.
The Office Manager will manage the Client Services Team including volunteers. This role will also oversee freelance interpreters working with Helen Bamber Foundation Group.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Facility Management:
· Act as site manager ensuring that the office is in a state of operational readiness. This will include procuring and organising premises maintenance , cleaning services, communication systems and other support services as required to meet local needs.
· Responsible for local premises security and liaison with fire and police services and local alarm providers
· Managing local contractors, landlords, suppliers, and other agencies as necessary; identifying improvements and ensuring best value in procurement.
· Working effectively with the landlord’s facilities team in relation to building related issues and for any building repair and maintenance issues.
· Ensure that office equipment is operating effectively and efficiently and maintain a sufficient level of office furniture, resources, supplies and stationery
· Oversee and manage the documentation of minor repairs, renovations and decorations.
· Ensure core facilities like water and heating are maintained.

Office Management and IT:

Health and Safety & Security:
· Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures, in liaison with the Director of People and the CEO
· Act as Site Safety Officer (SSO) for the group, ensuring the office complies with all relevant health and safety and fire safety regulations and standards.
· Oversee the health and safety responsibilities within the office premises, staying updated on changes in health and safety legislation.
· Review and maintain documentation of risk assessments, health and safety checks and fire evacuation plans.
· Ensure the office has on site first aid provision, designated trained first aiders and fire warden/s
· Organise the delivery of relevant H&S training such as first aid and fire marshal training
· Undertake weekly, monthly and annual checks and tests of office facilities including fire alarm sounder and panic alarm checks.

Essential

· Good interpersonal communication skills and the ability to create a welcoming and hospitable office environment for clients and staff.

SELECTION PROCESS
We will invite candidates to an initial 15-minute online screening meeting on either Wednesday 10th December or Thursday 11th December 2025 followed by shortlisted candidates attending in-person interview on Tuesday 16th December. We will also ask you to complete a short exercise on the day.

We are looking to recruit someone who enjoys working with evidence and producing engaging content.

Hybrid working: This role is eligible for hybrid working and you will be required to work from Teddington's Tearfund office and from your home by agreement with the line manager. This currently means around 2 days per month working from the Teddington office, with the rest worked from home.
Please note: This is a full time (35 hours per week), 12 month fixed term maternity cover contract. Flexible working patterns may be considered.
