The HR Officer will provide expert support and advice to operational management in all areas of HR whilst consistently demonstrating HR best practice. The HR Officer will be the initial point of contact for all operational HR related matters. The HR Officer will proactively assist with the development and achievement of the team and the Organisational outcomes on any Dimensions strategy.

This is a Home-Based role with some occasional travel across the region so essential you are based in Wales.

We are looking for HR Officer(s) to cover 37.5 hours – we are a flexible working employer and therefore this can either be one full time or two part time positions.

About the role: Your main duties will include: 

• Providing first level advice and guidance on HR Policies and procedures, employment law and employee relations issues with the guidance of the HR Business partner as required.

Role - Zero Hours Children's Resource Worker

The fundraising team operate in a fast-paced environment, fundraising for innovative projects and activities that seek to transform the way we eat, farm and care for our natural world.

We are looking for an experienced fundraising manager to join our established and well performing Trusts and Foundations team. The role will generate funds across our Farming and Land Use, Healthy Sustainable Foods and Policy work; managing accounts, building relationships and working to ambitious income targets.

The fundraising directorate are a close-knit team who enjoy coming together to celebrate successes, identify opportunities and explore new approaches. The team can explore and experience the impact of Soil Association’s work through working closely with expert colleagues, lunch and learn webinars and project visits.

About You

You will have significant experience of trusts and foundations fundraising including securing grants of up to 6 figures, matching opportunities to organisational need and pro-actively managing funder relationships.

You will be skilled in prospect research, opportunity scanning, using tools to record and monitor fundraising applications, and writing compelling applications and impact driven reports.

You will be passionate about the natural environment (whether that’s through an interest in wildlife or knowledge about food and farming) and be empathetic towards the Soil Association’s vision for regeneration.

We are looking to recruit a Team Leader to lead a team of staff for our outreach service in Cannock which provides support for people with a learning disability and who may have other support needs. All our services are individualised, person centred and deliver valued outcomes for people, as we passionately believe that the people we support have the right to lives that are meaningful that also enables them to reach their full potential as individuals.

As a Team Leader you will assist the Area Manager and the rest of the senior team, to ensure that the service is of the highest quality, meeting all CQC standards and contract requirements. You will ensure that the service works in a cohesive and coordinated manner and that service users experience fully integrated care, support and housing. You will ensure that the care and support delivered is personalized and provided in accordance with agreed care plans, enabling service users to enjoy wellbeing, quality of life and community connections. You will promote and reinforce a culture of responsive, person-centred practice and active support across the service, with relationships based on respect and unconditional positive regard. Your work will be a mixture of doing shifts on the rota and management days and you will be required to work across the entire week, including evenings and weekends.

A minimum of two years managerial experience and prior experience of supporting people with a learning disability and a forensic history and/or autism who have complex needs is essential. It is also essential to have strong values, emotional intelligence and good problem-solving skills. It is essential that you have the ability to work collaboratively in order to achieve positive outcomes. You will also have relevant experience in implementing Positive Behavioral Support and positive risk management approaches. You must demonstrate excellent assessment, support planning and report writing skills.

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Facilities Manager to join our team at the National Memorial Arboretum. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the management of our buildings, facilities, and associated services, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standard. You’ll work closely with the Head of Estates to manage both day-to-day operations and long-term projects, providing expert advice and managing external contractors to achieve the best outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain buildings and facilities to ensure high standards.
- Lead and develop the Building Services team, providing guidance and support.
- Oversee preventative maintenance programmes and long-term equipment replacement and Lifecycle planning.
- Manage contracts and suppliers, ensuring services are delivered on time and within budget.
- Support event delivery by ensuring facilities are ready and operational.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives and monitor the estate's carbon footprint.
- Keep up to date with and implement estate related security in collaboration with the Head of Estates and other Heads of Department including liaison with the police, counter terrorism advisers and other emergency services as required.
- Monitor site safety, compliance, training, and competencies across the estate to advise on initiatives to prevent accidents, injuries and health problems in the workplace and assist departments to ensure Health and Safety culture is excellent.
- Prepare and manage budgets, providing reports and recommendations to the Head of Estates.
