The Mental Health Foundation is recruiting for a Campaigns Manager to support our Policy & Influencing team.

Location: London or Glasgow
Salary: Starting salary £38,193 rising to £42,385, plus London weighting of £4,000 where applicable
Hours: Full-time (32 hours per week)
Contract type: Permanent

We are looking for a passionate and creative campaigner to lead bold, impactful campaigns that drive real policy change and inspire public action to prevent poor mental health. You'll bring together colleagues across policy, research, public affairs, media and marketing to create powerful, integrated campaigns that influence decision-makers, engage communities and spark lasting social change.

What does the role involve?

• Plan, develop and execute impactful campaigns to drive forward policy changes, increase public understanding and support for prevention of poor mental health, and improve mental health awareness.
• Identify and develop creative opportunities to amplify campaign messages across various platforms, including digital channels, media, with politicians, and with fundraising audiences.
• Work with people with lived experience of mental health to improve and coproduce our campaigns.

What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?

• Understanding of campaigning and influencing, including campaigning strategy and theory of change.
• Expertise in using digital communication tools and platforms for campaigning activity.
• Experience in developing and implementing engaging public campaigns which drive social change.

We are currently operating mostly digital recruitment (including interviews via video conferencing). We operate a hybrid working model of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office and the rest working from home.
