Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.
We are recruiting for a part time Employment Advisor who will be based in Enfield, working 17.5 hours per week. The service has been awarded the IPS Grow quality mark and adheres closely to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people in to employment. This role will be working with clients who have mental health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment.
Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to employment as an integral aspect of wellbeing and supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. We welcome applications from people with lived experience of mental health, either personally or through a close contact.
You need to have a desire to support people to achieve their employment goals, and the ability to multitask and manage your workload effectively. Good organisation skills are essential for this role, in addition to an interest in mental health, and the role it plays in the workplace. The successful candidate will need to become comfortable in approaching employers, and showcase the advantages of our service in order to work with them to recruit our clients to fill vacancies and sustain employment.
You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. You will deliver the IPS approach (for which training will be given); providing person centred support and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment.
You will work as part of a mental health team (NHS Trust) maintaining positive and integrated relationships, fostering a holistic approach to recovery through employment. You will work closely with clinical teams, providing a coordinated approach that always remains client led. You will also be working to targets whilst maintaining a high-quality service.

The Bromley Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub is part of the transformation of mental health services in the London Borough of Bromley under the NHS Long Term Plan. About the Role
Could you support individuals within the community, to improve mental health and wellbeing, through focussed 1:1s and structured interventions. At times this may mean deescalating crisis and providing preventative sessions. The role will be part of a larger Recovery Lounge team made up of Mental Health Recovery Workers, Peer Support Workers and volunteers.
About the Recovery Lounge Service
Our Recovery Lounges offer a safe, welcoming and non-judgmental environment outside of normal working hours for those who feel in mental distress or crisis. The role will involve assessing needs and offering one to one support to service users to enable them to begin the process of improving their mental health and wellbeing and to providing clarity on services and pathways available in the area.
Mind BLMK Recovery Lounges (formally known as Crisis Café) are open evenings in Bedfordshire and Luton. Anyone from Bedfordshire and Luton is welcome at any location. The service operates from 5pm-11pm 365 days of the year and can support you to get well, stay well.
The Recovery Lounge provides individuals with:
- A supportive and safe environment where they can decompress, take some quiet time, speak, and connect with others
- A one-to-one session with a trained mental health worker
- Support to identify positive mental health coping strategies, including goal and safety plans
- Advice and guidance about other support services available in their area (and nationally).
Service Delivery
- Deliver preventative focussed 1:1s when required, supporting a community focused safe space and ensure outcomes which supports individuals experiencing a mental health challenge including crisis in Central Bedfordshire & Bedfordshire, in line with Mind BLMK’s agreed service and requirements as well as contract requirements.
- Assessing need and suitability for the service in line with the access to services process and undertaking 1:1s.
- Contribute to maintaining an effective volunteer workforce for the service in line with Mind BLMK’s HR policies, procedures and guidance (workload planning and support).
- Carry out Cash Handling, Health and Safety and Data Collection responsibilities as directed by the Team Leader in line with Mind BLMK’s policies, procedures, requirements and guidance.

Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Service (LCVS) are a reputable organisation that work in partnership with other organisations, and individuals to improve the wellbeing of the local community. Their overall aim is to develop stronger communities across the city, by bringing resources together to positively impact the third sector.
Due to securing recent funding from Mersey Care, for a Community Health programme, we are looking to recruit a Mental Health Care Lead. This programme aims to strengthen personal resilience and reduce health inequalities. It provides support to people who have mental health issues to enable them to re-connect and be actively involved with their local community. The programme will focus on improving health, physical activity, education, housing and financial stability.

The Role
The Mental Health Care Lead will oversee the Community Health programme, and manage the Mental Health Care Navigator, who is already in post. This is an incredible, and unique opportunity to shape support across the Liverpool region. The main duties include:
- Delivering the community mental health programme in line with contract requirements.
- Identifying the needs of service users and being accountable for delivering a high-quality service.
- Increasing levels of engagement with statutory and non-statutory agencies.
- Implementing and managing co-working strategies within the multi- disciplinary approach.
The Person
As the Mental Health Care Lead you will have experience working with diverse communities, and have a strong awareness and understanding of the voluntary sector and mental health services.
We are looking for someone who has the commitment to reduce health inequalities and is pro-active, and adaptable in finding creative solutions to community issues. You must be excellent at building relationships with people from diverse backgrounds, with the ability to listen, empathise and provide a person-centred support in a non-judgemental way.
We are also looking for someone who has experience in research, with knowledge of policies and procedures who can run this programme with a flexible attitude. A qualification in safeguarding (or the willingness to obtain a qualifications) is essential.

This role is an opportunity to work for Mind BLMK as part of the Milton Keynes NHS mental health service for someone with experience working in health, social care or information and advice, in direct contact with service users.
Working alongside colleagues from Central Northwest London Foundation Trust (CNWL) this role will provide referral management to and from Secondary Services. This will include signposting patients to statutory services including talking therapies and wider community based & voluntary sector support.
The Community Navigator will work as part of the team to deliver on the aims and objectives of the Mental Health Hub whilst representing the Voluntary and Community sector with the NHS.
Service Delivery
- Work within the NHS Mental Health SPA (Single Point of Access) Team to review and process referrals received from GP Practices and other sources including those to be subsequently triaged and assessed by mental health practitioners.
- Actively call patients with a view to assisting them through the process and making their onward appointments into community or secondary care service providers.
- Support the hub to signpost patients and direct them to appropriate services including secondary care, the local Voluntary and Community sector services and activities that support the patients’ wider determinates of their mental health and wellbeing.
- Answer calls, ensure sufficient phone cover, respond to messages/voicemails, provide administrative support to the Mental Health SPA for all services and deal with queries in a sensitive and timely way liaising with clinical or team lead as is appropriate.
- Monitor service inboxes during core office hours, responding to any queries professionally providing helpful information.
- Monitor and action tasks within SystmOne and maintain records of all activities carried out, i.e. outbound calls, calls received, archiving any received correspondence.
- Build good working relationships with the voluntary and community sector, relevant services and activities to ensure signposting pathways are kept up to date as well navigating and developing the setup of new signposting pathways through networking.
- Provide clinical and non-clinical information in appropriate chronological templates to other services.
- Carry out health and safety responsibilities as directed by Managers in line with Mind BLMK’s H&S policies, procedures, and guidance (risk assessments, reviews, reporting, safeguarding, incidents/accidents, premises).
- To bring VCSE experience, knowledge and culture into an NHS team.

We are looking for a Mental Health Housing Lead for a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will help individuals live independently by providing expert support with housing and benefits. Many of the people we support come from Charter House, an NHS mental health hub in Luton, and need specialised assistance. You will work as part of a multi-agency team, alongside professionals from drug and alcohol services, community engagement programs, and services for vulnerable women. Your main focus will be to offer guidance on housing and benefits, ensuring people get the right support for their needs.
Shift Pattern: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract - This is a non-residential service, meaning you will not be based in a residential facility - 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 4:00, 9:00 - 5:00 and10:00 - 6:00 on a rota basis
Salary: £23,800
What are we looking for from a Mental Health Housing Lead?
- Ability to use, learn and adapt to IT at an intermediate level, including Microsoft and other software programs
- Strong understanding of housing services in Luton
- Experience supporting individuals with mental health as a primary need
- Attendance at Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings within the community mental health team
- Contribution to coordinated care plans
- No team leadership or managerial responsibilities
