United Kingdom for UNHCR is the United Nations Refugee Agency’s national charity partner for the United Kingdom. We generate public awareness of the plight of refugees and raise funds to help protect them through UNHCR’s humanitarian operations across the world.

JOB PURPOSE
UK for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency's national charity partner, is looking for an ambitious and proactive Corporate Partnerships Manager to join the Private Partnerships & Philanthropy team.
In this exciting role, you will lead on the management of a number of our existing and new relationships with companies to create and grow mutually beneficial, multi-year partnerships, playing a key part in the success of our annual fundraising programme. You will enjoy developing strong relationships and have excellent communication and problem- solving skills. You will be a confident communicator with a track record of meeting and exceeding financial targets.
You will line manage the PPH Coordinator, with responsibility for managing performance and supporting their development.
This role is predominately an account management post, with some new business development.
ROLE RESPONSIBLITIES
- Lead on the management of a number of high value strategic corporate partnerships, liaising across departments and virtual teams to monitor, evaluate and report on progress against partnership KPIs, targets, activities and budgets.
- Develop annual and multi-year budgets and plans for partners.
- Identify opportunities for partnership visibility and communications, and where possible employee engagement.
- Manage a portfolio of partnerships, providing first-class relationship management and maximising value, including financial, advocacy, pro bono and in-kind support.
- Work with existing corporate engagement products and develop new employee fundraising ideas.
- Research new trends and innovations and emerging areas of interest for corporate partners.
- Remain flexible and quickly respond to emergency situations, identifying and responding to fundraising opportunities.
- Initiate, organise and coordinate a calendar of cultivation and stewardship events and identify visibility opportunities for UK for UNHCR.
- Manage the PPH Coordinator, ensuring they are develop and supported to deliver on performance targets.
- Collaborate with UK and international Private Partnerships & Philanthropy colleagues where possible to strengthen engagement with partners and prospects across channels.
- Work within UK4U’s due diligence policy and GDPR policies and processes.
- Support new business prospecting, research and cultivation.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate data on donors on Salesforce and SharePoint
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE
Essential Experience
- A track record of developing partnerships and managing relationships with corporate partners to deliver high value, muti-year corporate partnership(s).
- A track record of devising and delivering bespoke and engaging partnership fundraising plans and campaigns to grow income and engagement.
- Experience of communicating complex themes and subjects to a variety of audiences, written and verbal in an engaging and motivating way.
- Experience of event management and co-ordination to engage corporates and their employees
- Line management of one or more team members.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
This will be based within community venues and working alongside our REP Case Managers to deliver an employability themed curriculum on a face-to-face basis. You will ensure that all learners have completed their ESOL Assessment, are engaged in the right level of support, are learning and are thriving in their journey towards integration in the UK and progressing with their ESOL to support returning to work over their time on REP.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Work alongside Case Managers to complete ESOL assessments and design bespoke
ESOL learning plans for each individual
• Deliver good quality in-house ESOL provision on a face-to-face basis appropriate to
learners levels and in the community and at community venues.
• Where needed liaise with local colleges, ESOL providers, charities and other
organisations to refer learners based on their language levels and needs
• Monitor leaners’ engagement with courses, including our own, their progress and
objectives or qualification achieved. Adapt provision where needed to maintain
engagement.
• Deliver activities in accordance with contractual Service Level Agreements and company
standards
• Keep accurate service users’ records in accordance with data protection requirements so
that personal information is safeguarded, and progress towards KPIs accurately recorded

Location and compensation
You will primarily working on an outreach basis within the community. There are two part time roles available on 6 month fixed term contract, one covering Thames Valley and the other Surrey and Sussex

Key duties and responsibilities
The post holder will:
As a skilled relationship officer, you'll work with your manager to provide first-rate partnership management, developing creative fundraising and engagement plans to excite and inspire your team. You will work to deliver outstanding donor led stewardship and activate campaigns to generate income. What will I be doing?
The role of Community Youth Worker is, by nature, highly relational and is a position of great influence that enables you to nurture, inspire, connect and empower young people from all walks of life, so they can make the most of their lives. As such, it is a role which is demanding and carries great responsibility, but provides exciting opportunities to impact the lives of young people.
This is a varied role which carries with it a variety of different aspects and you are expected to manage your own workload and diary and priorities in liaison with your line manager and with the available time. Youth Café
The Youth Hideaway is our flagship project and is a fun open access youth café run by our team after school at our social enterprise café - The Hideaway.
As a Community Youth Worker some of your time will be spent assisting the Youth Café, Project Lead and Head of Youth Work in delivering this project and it may include:
- Helping to create a safe, fun and inspiring environment for the young people that attend
- Plan, prepare and deliver quality youth sessions
- Build healthy relationships with young people that attend the sessions, identifying and responding to the needs that may arise
Monthly Youth Hubs
Youth Hubs are fun open access youth clubs run by our youth workers in the community. These are run on a monthly basis on rotation in different areas within Guildford Borough. As a Community Youth Worker you will be responsible for planning, organising and running at least one HUB, which may include:
- Creating a safe, fun and inspiring environment for the young people that attend
- Planning, preparing and delivering quality youth club sessions
- Building healthy relationships with young people that attend the club sessions, identifying and responding to the needs that may arise
- Promoting the activities of the Youth Hub in the community
- Exemplify the charity's values and Christian ethos to the wider ‘Hubs’ team, leading them in prayer where appropriate.
- Promote the activities of the Youth Café in the community
GASP Motor Project
Matrix will often work in collaboration with partner organisations and following a successful run of pilot sessions we are pleased to confirm that from September 2022 we will be extending our work with GASP Motor Project.
Working in this setting is very similar to the mentoring work that we offer in schools and you may be expected to:
- Conduct one-to-one sessions to listen to, analyse and respond to the physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual needs of young people
- Manage, monitor and evaluate caseloads as part of the one-to-one support sessions
- Develop and run a variety of contact points for the young people attending the project, including group sessions
- Build good working relationships with the GASP team
Schools Work
Our work in schools is varied and you may be expected to:
- Conduct one-to-one sessions to listen to, analyse and respond to the physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual needs of young people
- Manage, monitor and evaluate caseloads within your allocated school as part of the one-to-one support sessions
- Develop and run a variety of contact points and projects for young people across the school, including group sessions and drop-ins and after school projects
- Alongside the Secondary Schools Project Lead, supervise and build a team of volunteers to work within the school
- Build good working relationships with school staff, CAMHS and other relevant local services
General
- Contribute to, and be involved in fundraising and other activities that benefit Matrix, including whole staff workshop days, fundraising activities.
- During school holidays and after school, be involved in projects organised and run by Matrix, including holiday and after-school clubs (e.g. our Youth Café - The Youth Hideaway) within your allocated hours and as agreed by your line manager

Level of Authority
As a Community Youth Worker, you will need to operate with a high degree of autonomy. New Horizon Youth Centre runs a busy day centre from Monday to Friday, providing basic needs to young people experiencing homelessness and a one-stop-shop for housing advice, youth work activities, counselling, jobs, education and training support. The Services Manager (Day Centre) is a brand new role for the organisation. They will work as part of the existing Youth Work Team to provide vital additional capacity and expertise to respond to the significantly increased demand we have been experiencing. This role is primarily focused on delivering our frontline day centre service each week. You will spend around 2-3 days per week frontline as our Duty Manager ensuring the smooth running of the day centre. You’ll also be responsible for coordinating our weekly rota, line managing the team, overseeing our Locums, Students and Volunteers programme, supporting with donations and day centre stock, and delivering staff training . Lancashire Mind is a local charity working to prevent poor mental health. We support people experiencing common mental health conditions, such as anxiety and depression. We work with children and adults, offering universal services to help people improve their mental wellbeing, along with targeted services for people and communities at increased risk of experiencing poor mental health or facing mental health inequalities. We’re working towards a Lancashire where everyone can have the best mental health and wellbeing possible.
We have a responsibility to engage the communities we serve, to make sure we know and understand them. It's vital we do this to identify need and understand barriers and to design services alongside people. We do this well on an individual service level, with many of our projects designed with the people who use them but we need to improve how we involve people with lived experience in organisation-wide development plans and key decision making.
To help us work towards our plans for embedding participation, we're looking for someone to join our Engagement and Inclusion Team to work with the communities we aim to serve, with a focus on those who are underrepresented within Lancashire Mind services. The role has been designed to ensure that the experiences, perspectives and ideas of local people are being listened to and acted upon.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within communities and knowledge of the barriers that people face to achieving mental wellbeing and accessing services. You'll be confident, creative and able to work autonomously in the community, where you'll communicate with a wide range of people and quickly build rapport.
The focus of the role will be to ensure that more people with lived experience of poor mental health know who Lancashire Mind are, what we do and how they can influence our work. You'll work with the Community Engagement Projects Lead to create a range of opportunities for people to participate, including establishing formal structures, for example a lived experience panel and youth advisory group, which you'll design with the people who want to get involved. You'll work with colleagues across all teams to ensure opportunities to influence Lancashire Mind's work are promoted to everyone who uses our services.

This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in the either the London or Cardiff office. There is a permanant role available and there may be a 12 month contract with the team also.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting EI Coordinators to effectively run their centres, as well as training new EI coach teams.
