About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Learning & Engagement Officer to join the Trust’s Engagement and Volunteering team and work together with local schools and community partners to make sure the Park is welcoming, interesting, and enjoyable for everyone.
You will build relationships with representative community groups and stakeholders, listening to, and understanding their members’ needs, interests and barriers to participation. You will help deliver our heritage activity programme funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund working alongside colleagues to develop and deliver both targeted engagement activities and resources with these groups, whilst also using their feedback and advice to influence the Trust’s broader public programme and offer.
The postholder will work to develop and deliver community engagement and learning programme building relationships with representative community groups and stakeholders, listening to, and understanding their members’ needs, interests and barriers to participation. This will support ongoing programming of activities and events within the park to encourage a new and diverse audience alongside our regular attendees.
You will manage and support two advisory groups, including a Young Advisory Group and an Access Advisory Group and will also work as part of the project team working closely with the Senior Volunteer Officer and reporting into the Senior Community Programmes Manager.
The role is offered on a 14-month fixed term contract with Crystal Palace Park Trust. Weekend working will be required and there is potential for an extension after 31 December 2026 subject to funding.
This role is funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of a partnership project between Crystal Palace Park Trust and London Borough of Bromley.
Responsibilities:
Relationship development and management
● Creating strong links to local community groups, schools and organisations; especially those who represent groups who do not currently visit or engage with the park. Work with them to understand the barriers to their visiting and engaging with the park and how they can be overcome.
● Working with the Events team by acting as an advocate for community groups and organisations to support the development and delivery of a public programme with particular focus on priority audiences.
● Further developing our network of partners and identifying new partnership opportunities, particularly with local cultural, heritage and community groups, to support audience development and deliver engagement opportunities for priority audiences.
● Supporting the procurement, briefing and management of freelancers to develop learning and community engagement resources and activities.
Planning and delivery
● Working with our partners to co-create and pilot engagement activity and resources.
● Working with the Senior Community Programmes Manager to engage local schools and elective home education services to develop and pilot resources.
● Working with the Marketing team to develop printed and online resources and materials.
● Working with the Senior Volunteer Officer to identify volunteering opportunities for engaged groups.
● Support the team to ensure all activities and resources are fully accessible and inclusive.
● Liaising with the wider team to ensure the smooth running of programmes, practically and logistically.
● Delivering the coordination, administration and facilitation of an access advisory and young advisory panel.
Evaluation
● Providing data on community engagement and participation to The National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of the quarterly reporting process and for annual and summative reports.
● Supporting the Senior Community Programmes Manager and the Evaluation Consultant to ensure the public programme, learning and community engagement strands of the Activity Plan are evaluated, including a photographic archive.
● Undertaking other duties as required.
These responsibilities are broad and cover a range of aspects of our work at Crystal Palace Park Trust.
It is a requirement of the Trust that all staff work in a flexible manner compatible with their jobs and in line with the objectives the Trust must fulfil. Evening and weekend work will be required by arrangement. Time off in lieu will be granted on a one-for-one basis for overtime worked. The working pattern for this role is to be agreed, but it is anticipated that the pattern will involve one weekend day as standard.
This position requires an Enhanced DBS check which may reveal any unspent convictions. A criminal record may not necessarily be a bar to employment, as any decision will be treated on its merits and individual circumstances subject to the Crystal Palace Park Trust’s obligations to protect the children, young people and adults at risk in its charge and members of the public.
Person specification:
Qualifications and experience (all essential unless stated):
● Experience of working with community groups; marginalised audiences and third sector/voluntary organisations to co-create and develop audience focused engagement activities and programmes.
● Understanding and experience of safeguarding principles for children, young people and adults at risk.
● Experience or knowledge of using best practice co-design and participatory approaches in community programming development and delivery.
● Experience or knowledge of developing learning resources.
● Experience of working as part of a small team and working with empathy and compassion to colleagues, stakeholders and partners with differing priorities.
● Experience or knowledge of delivering externally funded projects and working within reporting frameworks, budgets and timescales.
● Interest or working experience of horticulture and heritage management.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
● Excellent project management, customer service, and public speaking skills.
● Strong verbal written communication skills, with the ability to communicate comfortably and confidently with a variety of people.
● Good understanding of Microsoft Office.
● Willingness to work flexibly as part of a team - there will be regular weekend and out-of-hours commitments.
● Knowledge of working in value-led organisations such as charities, or the wider cultural sector.

About the role
This role is responsible for leading the relationship fundraising programme in the north, midlands and Scotland. You’ll help to develop and implement strategies to engage new audiences and foster high lifetime value relationships, as well as surprise and delight loyal supporters.
Uniquely, you’ll help to implement a large-scale pilot to enhance the charity’s presence in key local areas to grow long term sustainable income. New roles in your team will develop portfolios of supporters as well as further grow Tickled Pink, an award-winning partnership between Asda, Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel! which has raised over £100m, by directly supporting colleagues across Asda stores.
You’ll manage a team of 9 including 3 line reports. You’ll inspire, motivate and coach them to excel in their roles, to help continue the growth that the relationship fundraising team has seen over the last five years. This role is also responsible for the community fundraising operations team, which manage mass market DIY fundraising and deliver key projects.

Primary location of role and hybrid working
The role can be based in our Sheffield or Glasgow offices, or remotely if based in another area in the midlands, north of England or Scotland. If office-based, our hybrid working model allows you to work up to 3 days per week at home. Regular travel will be required to our offices in London, Sheffield and Glasgow.

At the Poppy Factory, we help armed forces veterans with health conditions to find meaningful and sustainable employment after service. This often means overcoming significant barrier to employment. As an Employment Consultant, you will be assisting veterans across the region back into work. Based at your home, but with extensive travel, you will help with application materials, overcome challenges, and connect with employers. You will also work alongside professionals in other services such as health or welfare to ensure that the veterans have access to all the support they need to overcome barriers to gain and retain employment.

There is now an opportunity for a community fundraising executive to join the London, South and Wales team.
In this busy and exciting supporter-facing role, you’ll provide stewardship to our brilliant fundraisers, organising events from bake sales and balls to tractor runs and sponsored walks. Permanent, full time (35 hours a week)
Location: This role requires attendance in Scopes Leeds office ( LS10 1JF) with the remaining days worked remotely.
The hours for this role will be varied over shift patterns between 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 6pm Saturdays.
There are two positions available.
The role
We are looking for a self-starter with the ability to prioritise their own workload whilst advising Scope’s helpline customers. To provide support to helpline customers, supporters and donors and Scope enquiry customers.
In this role, you will:
· Provide consistent high-quality responses to enquiries received at Scope’s Helpline via telephone, email, live chat, our online community, and social networking channels, within set turnaround times.
· Ensure that customers feel valued and are provided with information that is tailored to meet individual need, is accurate, up to date and accessible to them.
· Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and empathetic manner.
· Continually update your knowledge around disability issues and to share learning across the team, to offer an expert service to Scope’s customers.
· Identify the correct person/department and efficiently transfer calls internally when customers ring with general enquiries.
· Ensure that details of all enquiries are logged accurately on the customer database in a timely manner and that quality data and information is maintained.
· Work within Scope’s policies relating to customer confidentiality and data protection.
· Follow Scope’s policy and process around safeguarding and to make decisions regarding relevant customers as appropriate.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
This wide-ranging and varied role will play a key role in building a strong base of support to maximise philanthropic income for the School, as we head into our exciting Centenary celebrations.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
This role will support the delivery of the Royal Ballet School’s mission to train and educate classical ballet dancers to the highest possible standards and to provide an accessible resource for students, teachers and the wider community.
As a key part of the newly formed Development Team, the post will be supporting the team with engagement, cultivation and solicitation of donors and prospects with a particular focus on those capable of making major gifts in the UK and internationally.
MAIN DUTIES:
Research and Briefings:
- Support with prospect research to identify and qualify potential funders (individuals, grant funders and corporate partners), both in the UK and internationally.
- Prepare high-quality briefing notes to support senior staff and trustees in donor meetings, cultivation activities, and solicitation efforts.
Proposal and Presentation Preparation:
- Assist in drafting compelling fundraising proposals, presentations, reports and pitch materials tailored to potential supporters, ensuring alignment with the School’s values and funding priorities.
Administrative and CRM Support:
- Coordinate and minute internal team meetings and ensure actions are tracked and delivered on schedule. Act as Development lead on updating and maintaining the School’s CRM system with accurate and concise entries to track donor cultivation and stewardship, along with data import and export.
Corporate Partnership Delivery:
- Support the team to deliver corporate partnership benefits and reporting
- Support year round communications with relationship managers.
Meeting Support - Prospect Focus:
