Help people find their voice, build confidence and open doors to new opportunities through learning English.
At the Renewal Programme, we believe education can change lives. For over 50 years, we've been supporting people across Newham to overcome barriers, develop new skills and realise their potential.
We're looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and compassionate ESOL Tutor part time (10 hours per week) to join our friendly Education and Training team, helping adult learners from Newham's diverse communities improve their English and gain the confidence to participate more fully in everyday life.
You'll plan and deliver engaging, inclusive and learner-centred ESOL lessons, adapting your teaching to meet different needs, abilities and aspirations. You'll assess and support learners' progress, develop learning materials and create a welcoming classroom where everyone feels respected, encouraged and able to succeed.
Our adult education provision was rated Good by Ofsted in 2025, and we're proud of the supportive, community-focused learning environment we've created.
We're looking for someone with a CELTA qualification, experience teaching ESOL to adults and excellent communication and organisational skills. Most importantly, you'll bring patience, creativity and a genuine belief in the potential of every learner.
You'll be joining an established Newham charity where education is about more than qualifications. It's about independence, belonging, opportunity and helping people shape their own futures.
If you're passionate about teaching and want your work to make a real difference in people's lives, we'd love to hear from you.
