FareShare UK's pioneering Surplus with Purpose scheme works with businesses across the food industry to help cover the extra costs of redistributing their unsold food to people who need it and preparing unfinished surplus food for redistribution. Surplus with Purpose helps FareShare redistribute thousands of tonnes of surplus fresh fruit and vegetables to charities and community organisations that need it.
Run by charity EMERGE 3Rs, FareShare Greater Manchester (FSGM) is a major food re-distribution charity in the city-region, fighting food poverty and hunger and tackling food waste.We are excited to add a new Driver/Warehouse Operative to our team to help us run our Surplus with Purpose scheme, as well as to support our normal daily operations.
A typical day will include carrying out the daily van safety check, collecting your order lists from the Food Allocations team and then picking the fruit & veg for each order, which will be between 400kgs and 800kgs. After safely building the pallets, you'll load them onto the van and then unload at the Community Food Members' (CFMs) site. You'll collect their empty trays and return them to our Warehouse, perhaps stopping to refuel on the way, where you'll take on Warehouse duties as required e.g. picking orders, cleaning, goods-in, stock rotation etc.
You are the face of FSGM to our CFMs so you'll need top notch customer service skills, excellent communication skills and a commitment to working in a culturally sensitive way. It's a physical job so you can comfortably lift up to 25kg at a time repeatedly and throughout the day. For insurance purposes, you need to be at least 25 years' old, with experience of safely driving commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. If you have a licence for driving larger vehicles (up to 7.5 tonnes), even better. The salary offered will reflect the driver qualification you have.

The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, enthusiastic and confident individual to join us as Programme Manager to develop and manage delivery of Phase 2 of the Early Connect Programme. Following successful delivery of Phase 1, Inspire has been selected to deliver Phase 2 of this pilot programme alongside the GLA/DFE and lead partners Rinova.
This role has responsibility for developing and delivering work related learning activities for young people with the aim of enhancing their skills and understanding of future career opportunities and transitioning into apprenticeships.
All delivery is aimed towards enabling young people to learn about apprenticeship opportunities and how to position themselves to apply and move into employment as an apprentice. You will work closely with young people, employers and business volunteers to deliver fun, engaging and labour market-relevant careers related support and workshops to young people in both online and in-person formats. You will have the chance to be creative through planning, delivering and evaluating the programme to ensure services are current and meet the stakeholder needs.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Managing development, delivery and coordination of work related learning activities for phase 2 of the Early Connect programme.
- Accountable for achieving agreed outcomes, outputs and personal targets including recruitment, employability training and learner progression targets.
- Managing a caseload of participants requiring Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG), confidence building and employability training.
- Accurately managing data and reporting requirements of funders of the Early Connect programme.
- Maintaining and building effective relationships with programme participants and stakeholders.

About the opportunity
As an Impact Analyst you will work within a team of skilled analysts. A key programme you will become an integral part of delivering will be a community based, preventative emotional resilience and wellbeing pilot called Turning Tides
Turning Tides is a two-year pilot programme testing innovative means of protecting and promoting the mental health and wellbeing of vulnerable young people along the North Yorkshire Coast. The programme leverages local organisations and their expertise, providing each young person a dedicated coach who works to identify a participant's strengths and ambitions – and takes a community-based asset development approach to match those goals with opportunities in the local area.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include.
· Overseeing all data related aspects of the programme including data collection, extraction, cleaning, analysis, reporting, and presentation.
· Gathering and analysing quantitative and qualitative data to measure the impact of service innovations for the programmes you are working across. Produce regular reports and insights that aid decision making to continuously improve programme design.
· Taking initiative to propose and implement relevant analyses to the project to maximise positive impact for participants with the programmes you are supporting.
· Building relationships and working at times directly with Delivery Partners (VCSE organisations who are delivering the frontline services for the programme) to ensure they are able to use the data systems accurately and effectively,
· Identifying opportunities for process automation and improving utilisation of management data by colleagues across the programme.
· Supporting the Programme Lead on all operational and project management needs, including coordination of team activities and providing other administrative support.
· Working with the Investment Lead and colleagues in Finance, to ensure invoices for outcomes achieved by participants within programmes are processed.
· Engaging with other analysts across BOP to share learnings from your own project and implement learnings from other projects in your own.

Duties and key responsibilities
Security Strategy & Risk Management:
•Develop and implement security strategies and operational guidelines for all field operations in high-risk areas.

The Programme Manager role
Due to the continued expansion and sustainability of our programmes, we are seeking a new team member to support our next period of growth into the 2025-2026 academic year.
You will be a consumate account manager to support our skills and employability programmes designed in partnership with industry. This is an exciting opportunity to join Refuge as a domestic abuse refuge worker, providing high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse and their children living in our refuge accommodation across Cambridgeshire.
The post holder will work closely with survivors from the point of crisis and admission to the refuge, through to move on from the emergency accommodation. This involves providing a personalised, holistic support and safety plan, enabling survivors to access housing, welfare, benefits and legal advice.
You will also work in partnership with both statutory and voluntary sector partners to ensure that the whole range of survivors’ needs are met.
A key requirement is to ensure that survivors are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment in accordance with Refuge’s philosophical principles.
As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.
Due to rural location, candidates must have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for commuting.

Your responsibilities will include

- Project management of the capital elements of academy conversion projects
- Planning, implementation, procurement, and delivery of a high-quality service in relation to all estate and projects work
- Managing and monitoring external technical advisors, and third party suppliers and consultants employed directly by Harris Federation
- Managing H&health and safety through the lifecycle of all projects
- Managing the consultations, admissions, branding, marketing, FF&E and uniform of all new schools
- Providing professional services to the individual schools and ensuring the Federation complies with relevant property legislation, regulations and guidance
- Assisting with the development of policies and procedures concerning the Harris Federation estate
- Assisting with the framework for all estates related statutory elements, including oversight of the implementation and reporting of audits
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The role

You will play a central role in shaping credibility and influence as a system leader, ensuring the Association drives forward a culture of testing, learning, and scaling what works.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development of a robust implementation plan for the Association’s refreshed research strategy, including the structures, processes, and partnerships needed for successful delivery.
- Redesigning funding schemes to support translational research, implementation, and real-world outcomes.
- Strengthening research governance and embedding QI and research into organisational strategy.
- Providing senior-level insight and support for the research and health systems insight and engagement teams.
- Positioning the Association as a visible and credible actor in stroke research and improvement.
About You
You will have:
- A PhD and significant senior-level experience in health research leadership.
- Proven ability to develop research strategies and funding mechanisms that accelerate translation and implementation.
- Strong system leadership credentials, with a track record of influencing across sectors.
- Deep knowledge of stroke, cardiovascular disease or neuroscience.
- A confident and flexible approach to agile working, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
This is a home-based role with occasional travel required.
