We support families across London, Surrey and Sussex whose children are facing cancer or a life-challenging condition. We’re there whatever the outcome, for as long as needed, so that no family has to cope alone.
The charity was founded in 2004 by our now Chief Executive and has grown enormously over that time. We currently have partnerships with 9 hospitals who refer families to us for our support, which ranges from therapies and counselling, to respite holidays and special family experiences.
We’re on a mission to help many more families with seriously ill children to know that they are not alone, and we’ll need brilliant and talented people to share our ambition and make it happen.

Main Purpose of the Role
Momentum Children’s Charity’s fundraising team is highly ambitious, driven by our goal to help families of seriously ill children in London, Surrey and Sussex to keep moving forward. Corporate income currently comprises circa 18% of the overall income. But with our expansion in hospital partnership geography, and aspiration to provide support to more families in the future, the expansion of this income stream will be key to this growth.
Working with the Corporate Partnerships Lead, this person will enjoy helping to develop all facets of the corporate fundraising area, working with and forging relationships with businesses to develop opportunities, fundraising and charitable giving, provide outstanding stewardship and relationship management, as well as helping to research and grow a healthy, robust pipeline of new opportunities.

Main Areas of Responsibility
· Work with the Corporate Lead to maximise current and new income, to ensure delivery of the annual target

This is an exciting opportunity for a community focused individual to join our Communities Team at Sovereign Network Group (SNG) as a Community Investment and Partnership Lead on a permanent basis.

The Role

What we need from you
Ideally, you'll have significant experience and expertise in the Community Investment sector gained from working in a similar role.
You'll need excellent partnership skills, a focus on delivering social impact, ability to identify opportunities for fundraising and programme development and commitment to customer service with the confidence to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders. You'll also have:
- A proven track record of positive stakeholder engagement and relationship management, both internally and externally
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written, tailored to a range of audiences
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Experience of quality assurance of projects, including monitoring and evaluation systems
- Confidence with budget management and financial systems
- IT literate and able to use technology for effective project delivery

Age UK Camden Day Care Centres are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Day Care Centre Manager for our centre – Great Croft, for older people in Camden – based in Kings Cross. (You will also work at our other Centre – Henderson Court based in Hampstead as required)
Our Centres provide a wide range of activities as well as being a specialist Day Care Centres caring for older people with complex needs. The Day Care Centres also provide a hot lunch and a range of special events.

As Grants & Development Officer you will work closely with the Management Team and be responsible for the successful grants and fundraising activity for core and project-based work, as well as developing new income generation opportunities.
Grants, Fundraising and Other Income Generation:
· Undertake regular prospect research to identify potential funding streams and prioritise opportunities based around local, community, and organisational need.
· Work with the Management Team, to identify, apply for and secure funding through appropriate and successful grant and tender applications.

I am urgently seeking an experienced Reward Practitioner for a Charity to undertake an almost fully remote position as Interim Reward Business Partner for an initial 3 month contract. The Senior Programme Manager will lead a small team responsible for delivering a range of programmes designed to support educators with the delivery of financial and enterprise education to support young people to be able to learn to earn and manage their money.
Key responsibilities
- Programme Management Oversight and Line Management: Directly manage three Programme Managers, ensuring efficient and effective day-to-day delivery of a range of national programmes. Work closely with senior colleagues ensuring coherence in programme management and delivery.
- Strategic Direction and Coordination: Coordinate strategic direction for educator-facing programmes, providing input on development and enhancement. Collaborate with departments to provide educational and practical guidance, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.

- Monitoring, Evaluation, and Budget Management: Develop and oversee processes for monitoring, evaluating, and reporting programme effectiveness. Manage programme budgets effectively in collaboration with the Head of Programmes and Services, ensuring compliance and alignment with funding requirements.
The Senior Programme Manager will have proven operational programme management experience and strategic knowledge of the development and delivery of education programmes focused on children and young people. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a range of key individuals and partner organisations, manage expectations effectively, and the ability to respond to differing needs. You will be a strong team player and an effective delegator in order to oversee the successful outcome of projects. You will be operationally, politically and commercially astute with operational and financial skills, and should be able to demonstrate your success in complex project management alongside an understanding of the challenges that face educational settings.
The role is homebased with some to the London (Russell Square) office, usually once a month. The role is full time (37.5 hours) and the successful candidate will be available 5 days a week. Due to this being a maternity cover, the role will need to start in July 2024. The post will be subject to satisfactory references.

We supported young people to successfully campaign for free bus travel for all 16-18 year olds across Greater Manchester. A policy which now benefits 40,000 young people, making 250,000 free journeys per week and saving them and their families an average of over £500 per young person per year.

We helped young people highlight and challenge the increasing use of violent and dehumanising language in politics. The campaign gained widespread media coverage and resulted in new commitments from the Speaker, Prime Minister and Leader of the Opposition.

Role:
We are seeking a well-organised and resourceful Operations Manager to support and develop our infrastructure as we implement our exciting new organisational strategy. About you

Harington is an Ofsted regulated specialist college based in north London, working with young people with learning differences aged 16-25. Our students undertake individualised learning programmes that lead to vocational qualifications and other aims, including gardening, retail, English, maths, employability and independent living. We also deliver a supported internship programme.
Our charity's learning centres in Highgate and Hornsey alongside our charity's gardening business and two charity shops, provide a unique opportunity for students to practically apply their learning on work experience placements. We also work with other employers to provide opportunities in other settings to meet the aspirations of our students.
Our larger Highgate training centre is located in beautiful grounds, with a 1.8 acre horticulture site where we grow vegetables and flowers to sell at local markets.

Based at the fantastic Brigade Bar + Kitchen by London Bridge, Beyond Food harnesses the power of food to inspire and equip people facing chronic unemployment with the power to change their lives.
Our flagship training programme, FreshLife, is a comprehensive three-week emotional support and practical hospitality training. Beneficiaries are taken on a journey in a safe, welcoming and empathetic environment – most of our staff have lived experience of the common issues they face – and are taught to master chef skills: they’ll bake bread, fry mackerel, create risotto and pancetta Bolognese dishes.
After completing the three-week training programme, with work experience at Brigade Bar + Kitchen, they are guaranteed employment at several high-end restaurants and hospitality partners in London. If they relapse, whether they start using again or even find themselves in prison, we don’t give up on them. They will be supported while they find their feet again and re-enter the training programme when ready.
These skills enable those excluded from work to become and remain employable. We keep in touch with our Alumni and will support them as they continue their journeys towards long-term, fulfilling employment and happier, healthier lives.

About the role:
This hybrid role is based in Shoreham by Sea, which includes a combination of home and office-based working as well as regularly meeting with clients across Sussex at safe locations of their choosing and attending meetings as required.

We are seeking a dedicated Move On Support Worker to join our team in a low-medium needs hostel with a capacity of 200 beds (18 month maximum stay). The role involves managing a caseload of 15-20 low - medium need clients, assisting them in transitioning to suitable accommodation, and connecting them with appropriate external services.

- Conducting and updating needs and risk assessments.
- Accompanying clients to appointments.
- Assisting clients in obtaining identification.
- Helping with benefits applications and ensuring clients receive all eligible benefits.
- Assisting clients in setting up bank accounts.
