Rays of Sunshine exits to brighten the lives of seriously ill children aged three to 18 across the UK by granting magical wishes and providing ongoing support within the community. You will be joining a small but passionate team, full of positivity, energy and drive to succeed and we need someone who will be a part of our success, helping to achieve our new vision for the charity to ensure we can creating lasting memories for all children and young people with a life limiting illness.

In this role you will be responsible for working across corporate partnerships, major donors, trusts and foundations, with a prominent focus on supporting with account management of existing partnerships and developing our pipeline of prospects. The charity has a history of success in these areas and we would love to have someone join the team to build upon this success.

Ideally the candidate would have existing experience in corporate partnerships, but we are open to candidates with experience in one or more of the fundraising disciplines mentioned above, with a willingness to develop their skills and experience, through a supportive, coaching and a mentoring leadership style.

Key Responsibilities

Partnerships

• Support with creating proposals and pitches to secure Brand, Corporate and Commercial Partnerships, with a strong focus on shared purpose and mutual benefit, to create successful long term strategic partnerships.
• Support with relationship management of current partners of Rays of Sunshine, ensuring they have materials to aid their fundraising.
• To manage the input of corporate partnership data on the CRM system (currently Donorfy).
• Manage the updates to the corporate pipeline master document, ensuring appropriate actions are met within deadline.
• Supporting the Corporate Volunteer Researcher to undertake the necessary research to support our pipeline of approaches.

Philanthropy

• Creating supporter updates and reports to demonstrate the impact of funding received from our Patrons and Major Donors, providing excellent stewardship to existing donors.
• Provide support with the event planning of major donor events, and attend in person to provide support of events on the day. 

Trusts and Foundations

•  Support with research and the successful completion applications to secure donations from a pipeline of identified Trusts and Foundations

Stewardship

•  Identifying new opportunities to create wow moments for donors and provide excellent stewardship of all major donors and partnerships.

General

• General administrative duties, including record meeting notes and actions, following up with partners, sending out of promotional materials, monitoring and responding to email enquiries, and taking telephones calls.
• Any other duties to support the success of the fundraising team.

Development / Fundraising Assistant

Fundraising and project development:

· Lead the implementation of Bexley Mencap’s Fundraising Strategy; reviewing existing fundraising strategies, identifying opportunities for development and introducing innovative strategies to achieve fundraising goals. 

· Research and pursue new funding opportunities; including grants, legacies and social enterprise/earned income opportunities.

· Develop compelling cases for support, tailoring funding bids and applications accordingly

· Support and line manage part-time member of the team (may be required to support more staff if the role grows/adapts)

We3can is a collaboration between three cancer charities - Brain Tumour Research, Leukaemia UK and Sarcoma UK. We3Can is an ambitious collaboration of the three charities to fund research into prevention, treatment and cures for the most common childhood cancers: brain tumours, leukaemia and sarcoma. Its purpose is "Funding research into better, kinder treatments to help cure kids' cancer."

The three cancers it focuses on (brain tumours, leukaemia and sarcoma) make up 78% of all childhood cancers. The collaboration allows the three distinct organizations to come together with a single-minded vision to be louder, more powerful, reach more people, and fund more vital research. 

The brand tone is ambitious, collaborative, rigorous, trustworthy, optimistic and resolute in pursuing a future without childhood cancer.

We3can is a joint initiative created by merging the efforts of three leading cancer in children's  charities to maximize impact in fighting the most common types of childhood cancer through research funding and awareness.

Job Purpose:

The Project Development Manager will be the main point of contact for the collaboration. They will be responsible for implementing and delivering the project plan, monitoring, evaluations, reporting, all systems and processes, coordinating meetings, etc and for generating income through (mainly) Corporate partnerships but may include some Trusts and High Value individuals. These partners will be with organisations/individuals who would otherwise be outside the reach of any of the three charities individually.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create systems and processes for administering and managing the functions of the partnership.
• Ensure regular project group meetings take place.
• Lead on the promotion of the brand and communications activities in conjunction with the communications experts on the project group.
• Monitor website and social media activity.
• Promote and implement activities to increase the profile of the collaboration.
• Identify, add and manage a pipeline of prospective funders.
• Develop and implement a strategic income generation plan to and achieve annual revenue targets.

At The Compassionate Friends (TCF) we are passionate about providing peer support to grieving parents and their families whose son or daughter has died at any age (from one month old to an adult) and from any cause. We offer this support through our network of over 300 dedicated volunteers who are themselves bereaved parents or siblings. We are now seeking an Events & Community Fundraiser to join our small, but dedicated and hardworking, staff team to help us to develop our funding to continue our vital work. In this exciting and diverse role, you will be leading on the recruitment and stewardship of individual fundraisers and fundraising groups undertaking challenge events, digital fundraising and other community fundraising initiatives. 

Just some of the activities you will be working on include:

o   Taking ownership of community and events fundraising at The Compassionate Friends, including preparing an annual plan, and incorporating digital fundraising alongside traditional methods.

o   Managing existing and introducing new challenge and fundraising events to grow the events programme, This will include attending some key fundraising events.

o   Managing a programme of community fundraising, including relationships with various community groups.

We are seeking a highly experienced Trusts and Foundations fundraising consultant to spearhead the Trusts programme at Dreams Come True. As an excellent communicator, influencer, and relationship builder, you will have a proven track record of successful fundraising in this area: ideally securing between 6 and 7-figure gifts.
The successful individual must clearly understand what is meant by a strong brand / charity proposition and have clear evidence of creating and delivering compelling cases for support, with strong examples of this resulting in successful grants to the value of £50-£100k.
Building upon the current small programme, you will lead on initiating conversations with new funders; quickly building rapport and submitting compelling funding proposals and writing timely reports as necessary. This is the sole Trusts based role within the Fundraising team but works closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation to develop funding projects and applications.

The role is 3 months, 3-5dpw and are offering up to £200 per day. This can be worked as a freelancer billing directly OUTSIDE IR35 or PAYE through the agency. 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Research and identify a pipeline of qualified prospective corporate donors who are headquartered in the UK/Europe and have the capacity and propensity to give at the six-figure level.  

Engage and cultivate new high value corporate/corporate foundation donors.

Create compelling propositions which reflect the organisations operational needs and aligns with donor interests.

Work with the Director of Fundraising to plan cultivation events across 2024.

Specific activities:

Identify a long list of UK/Europe headquartered corporate/corporate foundation prospects, with the propensity and capacity to support at the £100K+ level. Categorising those who can fund an specific project (£300k) and those who may be smaller in scale.

Shortlist and screen prospects to create a ‘priority pipeline’ of Corporate prospects whose interests align with organisational mission, and have the capacity to fund a specific project (£300k).

Identify contact details for all priority prospects, always aligning with GDPR.

Securing new meetings with 20+ new prospects.

As required, writing compelling proposals relevant to donor interests.

Senior Community and Events Fundraiser, an excellent opportunity to join a long-standing regional Hospice, with Head Office based in Surrey area.

• This role can be either Full-Time (37.5 hours a week) or Part-Time (30 hours a week).

The Club Manager will lead and oversee all aspects of running the Club, including its small team of staff, volunteers, an annual turnover of about £350,000 and assets which include built property (HQ).  They will champion and drive forward the Club’s vision and goals. There will be emphasis on strong leadership to manage and support staff, volunteers and trustees; ensuring the highest standard of services to members; planning and reporting on the annual programme of Club-wide events and developing future priorities.

KEY OBJECTIVES:
