Salary - £27,590
- Sleep in shifts paid at £96.00 per shift - this can range from 2 to 6 sleep in shifts per month.

About the position….
- As a Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will work as part of a residential childcare team providing support for the children and young people with their physical, emotional, and social needs with an emphasis on promoting their personal growth and independence.

About you….
We look for applicants who have the following skills.
- Completed the QCF level 3 / 4 in Children, young people, and family’s practitioner qualification or equivalent to be eligible to apply for this position. (This can also include NVQ Level 3 residential childcare or a Social Work Degree with childrens residential experiance, we cannot accept due to Ofsted requirements any general Health & Social Care qualifiction, or any other degree subject)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, a large part of this role you will be working with Social Workers and parents.
- Previous experience in keyworking with the young people that we support, including primary responsibility in complex cases and being able consider the feelings and the wishes of the young people that we support.
- Previous experience in shift leading, supervising team members in the absence of the Registered Manager / Assistant Manager, including contribution to assessment and appraisal of the team.
- Have a sound knowledge around the safeguarding of the young people that we support.
- A good standard of written English and IT skills would be essential, you will be writing reports and keeping record of the Children and Young Peoples progress.
- Transporting children / young people to an activity or school is a requirement. A driving licence that has been held for 12 months would be desirable.

Katherine Low Settlement has worked with older people since its conception in 1924.They are a core part of the community that we continue to work with. Key Objectives for the Elders Core Service Manager Role:

Role Requirements
As part of the site services team the role holder will be expected to liaise with managers and staff across the Trust. The role holder is expected to work closely with the other members of the facilities team and assist in covering in the laundry, in the deep clean team or other works as and when required.
You will be a natural and enthusiastic housekeeper working not only as part of a team but also individually. You will be health and safety aware, take ownership of your own work, and be understanding of the children’s needs here at The Children’s Trust. Good organisational skills, flexibility and being friendly and caring in nature are a must for this role. Please note that the role requires a significant degree of manual handling and working with houses services and laundry equipment.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. Working in partnership across Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust, you will support the testing of new and integrated models of primary and community mental health care.
Community Connectors will support patients to access a wide range of community services and resources including social care, housing, family, debt and employment counselling that support maintaining good health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work jointly with the Mental Health Practitioner in conducting assessments, including risk assessment
- Work with patients to support them in identifying their socially determined needs and goals, provide self- management tools and facilitate the development of personal support plans
- Provide a range of motivational and structured psycho-social interventions
- Promote independence through an enabling asset-based approach that draws on individuals’ strengths, preferences and ‘natural’ support networks
- Assist with community resource mapping exercises and maintain a database of community resources; map where there are gaps in provision across the PCN and wider geography and work with other VCS organisations to develop resources where most needed
- Promote and support (where necessary) advised follow up actions from physical health checks for people with SMI
- Work with the service to identify opportunities to expand provision particularly in local communities where there is a lack of service provision identified
- Broker and establish new partnerships between public and voluntary sector agencies to enhance service delivery and access to services
- Develop and sustain professional relationships with service users, partner agencies and appropriate external agencies

Cambridge Cyrenians is the longest standing charity delivering support services for homeless people in Cambridge. Our mission is to support and empower those who are homeless or vulnerable to homelessness and to make a positive difference to the quality of their lives. We are currently looking for a Project Worker to join our team and contribute to the transformational journey of individuals in our supported housing service.
As Project Worker, you will take responsibility for the day to day running of projects belonging to Cambridge Cyrenians. You will provide cover and one to one support for residents of Cambridge Cyrenians’ existing move on and long stay projects.
Role duties include:
- Ensure that individuals accepting accommodation understand their rights and responsibilities as residents of the project.
- Ensure that accommodation charges are collected and arrears followed up, that housing benefit claims are processed and closely monitored, and that proper records are kept.
- Encourage participation of the residents in the services provided and to ensure they share the responsibility for the day to day running of the house.
- Support residents in identifying solutions to their social and housing problems to enable residents to live as independently as possible.
- Ensure residents are aware of all entitlements to welfare and housing benefits, that they are aware of their housing options and assist in making applications as necessary.
- To develop and maintain links with appropriate statutory and voluntary agencies on behalf of residents.
