About the role

Play your part in improving leadership in the health sector

This is an exciting time to join our Leadership and Organisational Development team. Our work enjoys an outstanding reputation in the NHS and beyond and you’ll play an important role in supporting this, working across a range of clients and projects.

As a Programme Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for managing the logistics of a range of different courses and programmes. You will work closely with the Programme Directors, who design and deliver the course and programme content.

Your role will include communicating with programme participants and clients, creating programme materials, managing budgets, booking venues, travel and accommodation, and event management.

You will be skilled at working across a suite of programmes and balancing multiple deadlines. You’ll enjoy taking personal responsibility for your own portfolio and also working with the team of Programme Coordinators to support each other’s work and drive continuous improvement.

Our business model includes online working alongside in person therefore you will be expected to provide online technical support and be proficient in Microsoft Teams, Zoom and other online platforms to support the delivery of client work.

The Job

The Learning Networks Portfolio Manager will:

• Report to the Managing Director

• Be employed on a permanent contract

• Be based remote or hybrid, with regular travel to London

The Role In Brief

This position plays a central role in the delivery of Koreo’s work; responsible for a portfolio of the company’s biggest and most established programmes. It will be a varied role and will require someone to lead project teams in the design and delivery of high quality national learning programmes, while also playing a key role in the development of Koreo as an organisation
better able to build a just and regenerative future.

1. Responsible for the successful delivery and development of a portfolio of national learning programmes and projects. This portfolio of work is primarily focused on cross-sector learning programmes that bring cohorts of people together around learning missions. Examples include Civic Futures and the London Engagement Collaborative
with the GLA.
2. Responsible for sustaining and growing the portfolio, and with it Koreo’s profile, network, and income. This might be focused on developing the existing programmes in the portfolio, or could include wider writing, public speaking, pitching and networking
which support the distribution of the work.
3. An internal leadership role in developing a just and inclusive culture in which a diverse team can do its best work. This includes line management of one Project Coordinator, development of organisational practice and process, and work with the team on culture and development.

● Experience leading projects which required the effective management of a range of stakeholders through project and programme work. You will be able to demonstrate how you have engaged with those stakeholders to build their connection with and investment in the project, and how you managed that work. 

● Experience of designing and facilitating learning/collaboration/experimentation spaces for individuals and groups, either in an organisational or programmatic context. 

● Skills & Knowledge which enable you to design high quality programmes and learning spaces, to support individuals with their learning, and to facilitate group spaces. 

● A familiarity with subjects relevant to Koreo’s work is essential. Successful candidates will likely be interested in subjects like collective impact, new approaches to power, working in and with complex systems, organisational design and psychology, participatory futures, activism and organising, multi-disciplinary practice, and much more that we don’t know about yet.

● An ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a range of stakeholders, with excellent verbal and written skills.

Operational Excellence:

● Experience working in a role which required excellent project planning, management & reporting. 

● Experience working in a role in which you were responsible for building and then delivering against project budgets.

● Experience working with a CRM to manage relationships and programmes of work. 

● An ability to organise and manage yourself, to work and deliver at pace to a high standard across a number of projects, to spot and solve problems as part of a proactive attitude.

● An ability to cope well with competing demands and changing environments, demonstrating flexibility and an ability to work in different settings and with different people.

Development & External Influencing:

● An understanding of the landscape of social change work, with a particular focus on UK non-profit and public sectors and the needs of people, organisations and networks in this space. 

● Experience of winning, and/or growing projects or programmes of work to deliver on a business development target. This may be through growing existing projects, writing proposals/tender responses, or by taking a new idea from concept to operational delivery. Experience of doing this in an equivalent context is desirable.

● An ability to influence externally, with a particular focus on the production of content (in the form of blogs, articles, reports, videos, infographics) that support campaigns and external influencing. 

People & Culture

● An ability to building positive relationships in a small, busy and ambitious team, leading and able to hold relationships with colleagues and our wider community.

Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people’s charity and works with thousands of schools and young people across the UK through its programmes. The Ambassador programme is a key part of our work at Just Like Us.

This role will be key in ensuring that we have a growing community of LGBT+ young people aged 18-25 who volunteer with Just Like Us. We support them to:

Kingston Voluntary Action (KVA) is a long-established and well-respected infrastructure support organisation for the voluntary and community sector in Kingston. The Head of Policy, Campaigns and Public Affairs will work alongside the Director of Patient Projects and Influencing to spearhead our advocacy and influencing strategy, driving forward our agenda to transform prostate cancer advocacy and improve outcomes for people affected by prostate cancer. This strategic role involves building essential relationships with politicians and key stakeholders, increasing our organisational profile, and leveraging findings to advocate for policy changes. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Strategic Advocacy and Campaign Leadership: Develop and lead PCR’s campaign and public affairs activities, ensuring strategies are focussed on achieving meaningful policy and practice change on the highest priority issues, including screening and access to innovative and evolving treatment options. 

• Stakeholder Engagement: Forge strategic relationships and build our profile among politicians, policymakers, regulators and KoLs to enhance our impact and position Prostate Cancer Research as a source of trusted information for prostate cancer policy. 

• Shaping Policy: Coordinate responses to relevant consultations, such as government, MHRA, trade bodies, and NICE/SMC appraisals, where appropriate.

• Evidence-Based Advocacy: Utilise findings from funded reports, such as our Overtreatment/Overdiagnosis report and Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA), to advocate for change in screening and other relevant policies, and support/commission the development of further evidence as needed.

• Relationship Building and Event Coordination: Identify and cultivate potential parliamentary champions and supporters and host impactful events. 

• Patient Centricity: Ensure our patients remain at the centre of this work, putting structures in place for them to be involved in setting priorities, informing our policy positions with their lived experience, and advocating for change. 

• Policy Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor and analyse relevant healthcare policy in the UK to inform the organisation’s strategic development and seize on political opportunities.

Candidate Profile: 

Experience 

• Strong knowledge/experience of the health and social care sector, its public bodies, and key relevant policies 

• An excellent understanding of the UK political environmental, structures of government at national, local and devolved nation levels, with established relationships with key stakeholders or a proven ability to develop these efficiently and effectively. 

• Demonstrable experience in advocacy, public affairs, or a related field, with a proven track record of successful and integrated campaigns to change public policy. 

• Strong experience working cross-functionally within a fast-paced organisation.

Salary: £51,579-61,322 commensurate with experience.

This is a new and exciting role, and you will be able to make it your own. As the Head of Planning at Scope, you will play a crucial role in shaping our organizational strategies and ensuring effective resource allocation. You will provide the senior leadership team and key stakeholders with confidence on how we are doing and the insight to make effective strategic decisions.

12 months fixed term, 35 hours per week

Location: Here East or another Scope office with flexibility to work from the office and from home.There is a clear expectation of regularly spending time in the Here East office with teams whenever needed as well as occasional travel to other locations.

The role

This role is in our Operational Performance team. You will work with the CFO and finance team to make sure our plans match our budget, the strategy and the three-year plan.

As the Head of Planning, you will:

• Work together with leaders to create and improve our organisation's plans and make sure our plans help us reach our goals.
• Review how Scope manages and monitors large scale projects
• Keep track of how we're doing using important measures.
• Include disabled people in making decisions.
• Lead and help make our organisation better.

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and driven Senior Corporate Partnerships Executive to join our team in this integral and newly created role. The role will lead on identifying and securing collaboration and funding opportunities with both existing and prospective partners, and developing and managing a pipeline of strategic corporate partners that align with PCR’s mission and core programmes of work. We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of developing and nurturing relationships with corporate partners, understanding complex issues and working with others to identify solutions, and producing compelling funding proposals in support of this work.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify and nurture relationships with prospective corporate partners aligned with the mission and values of PCR.
• Develop and implement comprehensive partnership strategies to engage existing and prospective corporate partners.
• Work closely with PCR's delivery departments and other income streams to identify, develop and maximise income generation opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create compelling funding proposals and presentations tailored to the needs and objectives of corporate partners.
• Lead negotiations and secure funding support from corporate partners for activities aligned with PCR’s programmes of work.
• Effectively manage project monitoring and reporting for PCR’s existing funded activities with corporate partners, including regular communication, reporting, and public recognition of contributions (as appropriate), working closely with PCR’s delivery and communications teams.
• Stay informed of industry trends, corporate philanthropy initiatives, and relevant developments to inform partnership strategies and opportunities.
• Represent PCR at external events, conferences, and meetings to promote partnership opportunities and expand our network within the corporate sector.
• Database management to record pipeline and enable strategic planning against established KPIs and income targets.
• Support Director of Partnerships to monitor and report income performance to PCR’s Board of Trustees.

Skills and experience:

• Experience of identifying and securing at least five-figure income from prospective corporate partners, supported by detailed partnership plans.
• Experience of developing and managing at least five-figure partnerships with pharmaceutical and healthcare related companies is desirable.
• Experience of creating and organising supporter engagement events is desirable.
• Excellent and persuasive communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and manage strong relationships with corporate partners.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, develop creative solutions, and deliver upon corporate partnership objectives.
• Experience of preparing compelling and persuasive funding proposals, presentations and reports.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work flexibly according to the demands of the role, including the potential for UK and international travel and attendance at events and conferences.
• A passion for securing funding that will help improve the lives of people with prostate cancer and a commitment to advancing healthcare through strategic partnerships and collaboration.

INTRAC exists to promote positive social change. We do this by strengthening the wider ecosystems of civil society support and also by supporting civil society organisations themselves. About the role

As Project Officer you will play a central role in the delivery of INTRAC’s consultancy assignments and grant funded projects. This will involve coordinating short and long term projects, involving staff and consultants through our global network and clients around the world, ensuring effective and quality delivery. We carry out a wide variety of assignments, ranging from project evaluations to bespoke in-house training and learning partner roles for complex, multi-country civil society strengthening programmes.

You will work on a range of activities, such as organising and supporting online learning sessions, meetings or focus groups, coordinating feedback, communicating with team members and clients, administrative tasks, to support the smooth running and success of our work.

You will have an eye for detail, experience providing administrative and coordination support to complex projects and will be comfortable carrying out a number of tasks with competing deadlines at the same time.

We are looking for a versatile and dynamic individual, wanting to use their skills to support civil society around the world and with an interest in current debates concerning decolonisation and movements to shift power.
