As Counselling Service Manager, you will co-lead a high-quality counselling and psychotherapy service rooted in our communities and guided by our values: Inclusive, Responsive, Evolving and Together. You will provide co-leadership and day-to-day operational oversight over the counselling service, including clinical supervision for paid staff and volunteers.

Working alongside the Clinical Lead, you will uphold robust clinical governance, safeguarding and risk management, ensuring consistent ethical practice and high professional standards. You will lead the design and implementation of systems that support safe, effective and efficient service delivery, and use data to evidence impact and support reporting to commissioners and funders.

Where appropriate, you will hold a clinical caseload and deliver counselling or psychotherapy for clients with complex needs and multiple disadvantage, drawing on evidence-informed and trauma-informed approaches. You will model reflective practice, cultural humility and a strong client focus.

Additionally, you will be able to think strategically to develop new and existing services that meet the needs of service users. With a strong outcomes-focused and data-driven approach, you will lead on the design, implementation and delivery of systems that support the effective operation of services. You will have strong interpersonal skills that will allow you to build good working relationships with clients, volunteer and paid staff members and stakeholders.

This is an office-based role.

As Individual Giving Officer, you will plan and deliver compelling campaigns to engage with and drive action from existing supporters. 

You will work on a range of products in this crucial income stream including regular giving, cash and lottery. 

This is an exciting time for the Individual Giving team and as a vital member of our team, you’ll work to maximise the return on investment made by Maggie’s in this area and achieve significant growth in revenue income - ultimately to bring Maggie’s cancer care to everyone who needs us.

We are recruiting a Van Peer Coordinator to support our Hepatitis C peer project in the Oxford & Thames Valley area. This role involves driving a van across the region and working with people affected by substance use and hepatitis C. 

Peers use their lived experience to raise awareness of hepatitis C, reduce stigma, and help people access testing and treatment. 

About you 
You will: 

• Be confident driving a van and travelling long distances 

• Have experience working with people affected by substance misuse 

• Have lived experience of hepatitis C, or experience supporting someone who has

Dementia UK has a fantastic new opportunity to join our Challenge Events Team where you will help coordinate a portfolio of third-party challenge event activities, driving both participation and income for the organisation.

As the team are expanding and taking on a new portfolio of events, you will manage three international marathons – Dublin, Athens and Valencia and two UK based events – Hackney Half Marathon and Manchester Marathon. As a Challenge Events Executive, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of these events using project management tools and techniques. You will develop and execute marketing plans that grow participant numbers, alongside managing stewardship journeys that deliver excellent supporter experience and maximise income. You will coordinate the production of stewardship collateral including copywriting, compiling design briefs and liaising with internal teams and expert suppliers. You’ll nurture relationships with key stakeholder both internally and externally to ensure the best possible event delivery. You will stay up to date with trends in the challenge events market, identifying opportunities and making recommendations to expand and diversity the programme.

We are looking for you to have a good base of project management skills and have experience of coordinating fundraising events or campaigns on mass. Relationship building and management skills are key to this role as these are new events to us with new partnerships and key stakeholders.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Relationship Management: Building relationships with commissioners and stakeholders in supported accommodation and health in a dedicated geographic area covering all of our client groups - learning disabilities, mental health, homelessness, young people
- Commercial Business Partnering: Work with operational colleagues in designated patch to support the end-to-end business development process including contract extensions and renegotiations.
- Tender Management: Monitoring, managing, and drafting high- quality submissions, for Local Authority and Health Trusts, frameworks and Dynamic Purchasing Systems, focusing primarily on own patch but contributing to and supporting tender exercises coordinated by other members of the business development team as required.

Artsreach is Dorset’s touring arts charity, presenting a programme of professional theatre, dance, music and participatory activity in rural communities of the county. The Marketing & Communications Officer will play a key role in raising the profile of Artsreach. As Grants and Outreach Officer, you will play a key role in driving Electrical Safety First’s mission to reduce deaths, injuries, and accidents caused by electricity, particularly for the most vulnerable in society.

You will help manage the Charity’s grant scheme programme, which distributes £1,000,000 annually to fund community-based initiatives that raise awareness of electrical safety and reduce risks for those who face the most danger. Through this, you will help empower local organisations to create tangible change in their communities.

In addition to helping administer the grant scheme, you’ll support the Charity’s outreach initiatives, working closely with the Senior Grants and Outreach Officer to identify opportunities to expand the charity’s reach and partnerships. 

The charity’s outreach work goes beyond working with grant partners to maximise impact. It also involves identifying and developing partnerships with organisations that enable us to reach the most at-risk and hard-to-reach groups, working with them as trusted intermediaries, and supporting the development of longer-term, sustainable projects that deliver lasting impact.

This includes proactively engaging with grant recipients and partners, visiting funded projects to see first-hand the difference our work is making in educating people and saving lives, raising the profile of the charity, and ensuring outreach activity supports wider organisational objectives, including policy and public affairs priorities.

As this role sits within the Public Affairs and Policy team, there will be opportunities to connect grant and outreach work to the charity’s wider UK public affairs activity. This may include supporting work on key issues such as product safety, housing, and net zero, and occasional opportunities to support the team’s engagement with political stakeholders.

This is a unique opportunity to combine grant management and outreach, while gaining experience in public affairs, all with the goal of helping protect lives and making a real difference at a national and local level. 

Working With Us

This is a hybrid role, with the office located in Borough, a short walk from London Bridge. There are expectations for travel around the UK as part of supporting grant recipients and outreach work.
