Programme Design and Development Manager (Bilingual, English and French)

Prospectus is excited to be working with our client to help them recruit for a Programme Design and Development manager to join their team. The organisation is one of the world’s leading providers of sexual and reproductive healthcare. They believe that everyone should have the right to choose. Today, their organisation has around 10,000 team members working in 36 countries across the world.

This role is offered on an a full-time 12-month fixed term contract basis paying a salary of £53,000 per annum with flexible hybrid working arrangements at their London office or any country programme where our client operates.

As a part of the organisation's Programme Design and Development team, the post holder will independently lead the development of dynamic and successful programmes and proposals for institutional donors, including bilateral and multilateral donors, private foundations, charitable trusts, and host country governments. Working closely with in-country and technical teams across the organisation, they will confidently handle single- and multi-country proposals processes, including bid writing and coordination. The post holder will also own the country fundraising action plans process, facilitate programme design processes, negotiate partnerships, and building the capacity of the organisation's country programmes to effectively conduct local donor engagement.

They are looking for someone with a demonstrable track record of writing and managing complex, high-value, and/or multi-country proposals and securing grants and contracts from donors, foundations, and trusts. They are looking for someone who is bilingual in both English and French. They are looking for a candidate with a demonstrable track record of securing and managing 7 figure funding relationships and be confident of working at a senior level externally. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience working in business development in international development or the humanitarian sector
