ABOUT THE ROLE

We're hiring a Lead Psychologist to lead, shape, and enhance psychological practices across the organisation. You will work closely with various teams across the organisation to foster the development and support of psychological interventions. 

The Social Interest Group is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and care to individuals of all ages facing a diverse array of psychological challenges in both mental and physical health realms. This encompasses adults within acute and forensic mental health community based services and residential community based accommodation, as well as people residing in their own homes, in the community and prisons. The spectrum of conditions and illnesses includes people with trauma, anxiety, depression, psychosis, personality disorders, eating disorders, addictions, learning disabilities, autism, Korsakoff syndrome, alcohol related brain damage, and challenges related to social isolation, family dynamics, and relationships. 

In this role, you will manage a team of psychologists, a clinical lead, mental health nurses, substance misuse teams, and therapeutic leads, as well as providing overall leadership, expertise, and direction to the organisation to bridge gaps in knowledge, experience, and skills!

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9 - 5. You will be based in Central Office (Islington) but will regularly be based within any of our services across London, Brighton, Kent, Havering, Bedford, Luton, Nottingham, and Liverpool. Hybrid working is an option outside these service visits.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for a self-starter, who can proactively encourage and take leadership of all aspects of psychology for the organisation! You will hold an accreditation with HCPC and BPS (and/or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate your experience in developing clinical/forensic/counselling practices!

What we are looking for:

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology, Counselling or Forensic Psychology from an accredited institution
• Full registration with BPS and as a Psychologist with the relevant regulatory body (e.g. HCPC)
• Trained in clinical supervision and the supervision of assistant and trainee psychologists and/or other psychological therapy staff
• Previous experience of joint working with statutory, voluntary, and private sector agencies, social care, or criminal justice services
• Evidence of continuing professional development

OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide leadership to employees throughout the employee life cycle
• Support the development and creation of IIRMS (Intensive Integrated Risk Management Services).
• Incorporate reflective practice and supervision into the service delivery processes.
• Provide expertise in clinical risk assessment and management, crisis intervention, and specialist communication of psychological knowledge internally and externally.
• Develop and deliver small, targeted trauma therapy provisions for individuals who cannot access other community services, ensuring specialised support which is tailored to their needs.
• Lead on clinical excellence, setting policy, preparing for CQC inspections, establishing peer reviews, and pursuing accreditation to uphold standards of quality and safety.
• Drive innovation initiatives, including quality improvement efforts, service promotion, conference presentations, and fostering relationships with multiple external stakeholders.

Other responsibilities than those described above may be required to be undertaken from time to time and will be expected to be performed to as long as it is within the capability and level of the position.

Operational Leadership

• Centre the needs of residents, participants, and staff in all activities and decisions.

Railway Benefit Fund (RBF) are a benevolent charity who have been helping railway workers and their families for over 160 years. Shannon Trust Prison Facilitators HMP Send

Do you want to join an organisation committed to addressing illiteracy amongst people in prison?

Shannon Trust are delighted to be working with His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to provide peer-led literacy and numeracy programmes across a number of prisons. We now have the opportunity to provide a service at HMP Send. Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our literacy and numeracy programme at HMP Send, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.

Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach.

This role will be prison-based. About the role:

Our Head of Marketing and Communications provides leadership and operational management of P3’s ambitious communications and marketing department, responsible for driving brand awareness and stakeholder engagement.

This post directly line manages and supports three colleagues (with a fourth team-member indirectly managed) with budget management responsibilities of around £100,000.

The Head of Marketing and Communications is responsible for delivering on our core departmental goals:

Our new Events Coordinator  will support the planning and delivery of a key part of our work, namely: the management of our events programme designed to combat and prevent isolation, loneliness and depression amongst our elders. • Develop an Events programme, trips, visits, excursions designed to combat discrimination, isolation, depression and loneliness.
• Publicise our programme of events, and activities via digital media, leaflet distribution, open days, and word of mouth etc.

• Recruit train and organise team of volunteers to support and expand the Events programme.

Carers Manchester Contact Point (CMCP) is the first point of contact for unpaid carers seeking information, advice and support to help them with their caring role.

The service delivers a free confidential helpline for carers weekdays (Monday – Friday, currently 10am – 4pm).

The aim of this role is to be part of a team providing a comprehensive information, advice and support service to carers in Manchester  

The post holder will work alongside colleagues from Gaddum and potentially other organisations to be the first contact in a busy service providing advice via a telephone advice line and managing referrals made through digital sources. The role of the Employment Support Worker is to ensure carers of all ages and backgrounds are aware of their rights and know how to receive support from Gaddum and other services they need at the right time for them.

The job holder will provide outreach & support sessions, deliver groups and events for carers and other relevant partners across Salford. Creating exciting new opportunities for carers through networking and building partnerships.

The role will focus on the outreach provision, working in different locations across Salford providing training to employers about the issues faced by working carers. Title of Post: Financial Assistant

Responsible to: Head of HR & Administration

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The main responsibility of this role is to assist the Head of Resources in the efficient and smooth running of financial functional activities of the charity.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Process and prepare financial and business forms for the purpose of checking account balances, facilitating purchases, etc.

2. Perform routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested by the Head of Resources and assisting in developing and maintaining all financial reporting within the charity.

3. Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the charity’s annual income and expenditure budget.

4. Assisting in monthly bank reconciliations and other balance sheet accounts.

5. Dealing with finance related queries from staff, senior management, supporters, and suppliers.

6. Maintenance and reconciliation of direct debits, standing orders and other online donations.

7. Supporting the financial controller in the planning and preparation of statutory accounts and the annual audit.

8. Ensuring accurate gift aid records are maintained for supporters and conducting the annual gift aid claim.

9. Assisting in the maintenance of all accounting records on an ongoing basis to ensure:.

             a.   All income and expenditure are properly approved, banked and processed in a timely manner.

             b.   Monthly cash/cheque management and bank reconciliations are carried out and recorded.

10. Undertaking any other accounting duties that may be required and providing cover when other staff are absent.

The Community Foundation for Staffordshire and Shropshire is the leading independent grant-giving body in Staffordshire and Shropshire.  We award more than £2m each year to voluntary and community groups, registered charities and social enterprises across our area.  We are based in Stafford, with a satellite office in Telford, and are committed to supporting our local voluntary, community and social enterprise sector.

Due to continued success and further growth, we are creating a new role within our Business Development Team for a Head of Business Development and Philanthropy.  This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Business Development Team, and work with the Chief Executive and Business Development Sub-Committee and the wider board to help to establish strategic direction.  Demonstrable experience and a proven track record in raising funds and securing donations from private sector supporters are essential for this role.

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Operations Support Officer to join our team at MRS Independent Living. 

About the role

In this varied and rewarding role, you will provide vital administrative, financial, and operational support across a range of our services that enable older people and those living with disabilities and mental health challenges to stay independent, active and connected to their communities. 

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Administration: You'll be integral to delivery of our handyperson service, exercise programmes for older people and decluttering service, managing enquiries, referrals, bookings, invoices and payments.

• Project Support: You'll help support our community projects, supervising activities where needed, assisting with admin and data collection, and being a point of contact for new and existing volunteers. 

• General Operations: You'll wear many hats, supporting senior staff with HR, training, communications, IT, health & safety, and providing a friendly face. 

We are looking for someone who:

• Has empathy and can communicate effectively with a diverse range of service users, including older adults, those with disabilities, and those facing mental health challenges.

• Is a whiz with administration, has a keen eye for detail, and can work comfortably and effectively across multiple projects.

• Is confident using (or comfortable learning to use) a range of software and collaborative platforms (e.g. Google Workspace, Trello, Airtable) and accounts management software (ideally QuickBooks). 

• Has a warm, friendly personality and a proactive attitude, eager to contribute ideas and support colleagues.

• Is a team player who can adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment.

It will be a bonus if you have:

• Experience working with third sector (community and voluntary) organisations.

• Experience as a volunteer or supporting volunteers.

• Familiarity with social media platforms like Twitter and WhatsApp.

• An interest in learning more about charity functions like fundraising and community development, and charity/social enterprise management in general.

The Bike Project (TBP) is looking for a Marketing Executive to join the Fundraising & Marketing Team.  This role will focus on delivering marketing activity to help drive fundraising donations, increase income through retail sales, and boost engagement with our audiences. 

This is a key growth area for TBP, and the post holder will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing across a range of channels, including social media, email, search, and advertising. We are always exploring new avenues for obtaining fundraising income, and this role will work closely with the Marketing Manager to execute marketing campaigns that achieve this goal. The Bike Project has an entrepreneurial culture stemming from our online and physical bike shop, which raises considerable income annually. This post will contribute to encouraging sales through targeted marketing activities. At a key development time in the Marketing function of our organization, it’s an exciting period where we are exploring new opportunities for driving fundraising, income, and engagement. The post holder will be encouraged to harness their creativity to generate new ideas and work collaboratively with the team to execute them.
