We are recruiting for an experienced IPS professional to join the IPS Grow team, supporting services across London and the South East.

This role is ideal for a current or recent Employment Specialist or Senior Employment Specialist looking to develop their IPS expertise and support services to improve quality, fidelity and employment outcomes.

About the Role

You will work alongside experienced IPS Grow colleagues to develop your skills and knowledge while providing practical, hands-on support to IPS services across London and the South East.

A key focus will be training to become an IPS fidelity reviewer, initially working as a co-reviewer alongside Regional Leads. You will also support services to overcome barriers to successful IPS delivery, improve performance and achieve strong employment outcomes.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Training to become an IPS fidelity reviewer and supporting fidelity reviews and guided self-assessments
• Producing clear and accurate fidelity reports and action plans
• Supporting services to implement and monitor fidelity and race equity action plans
• Providing in-field mentoring and modelling IPS best practice
• Coaching IPS staff in employer engagement, race equity and performance management
• Supporting the development of training materials and resources
• Building relationships with IPS services and regional stakeholders
• Supporting Regional Leads with performance and quality conversations
• Helping services improve data quality and use of national reporting systems
• Supporting learning networks, communities of practice, workshops and webinars
• Producing reports and case studies demonstrating impact

The role involves significant travel across London and the South East, with occasional travel outside the region. You will also attend regular team days and quarterly organisational events.

About the Team

IPS Grow is a national programme supporting the expansion of Individual Placement and Support services across mental health, primary care and drug and alcohol teams throughout England.

The programme is led by a not for profit organisation in partnership with a leading mental health charity and is funded by national health, employment and public health bodies.

A core element of IPS Grow is the expert support provided by a team of IPS professionals who work directly with providers to improve fidelity to the IPS model and achieve better employment outcomes.

As a Support Lead, you will work closely with Regional Leads, Workforce Leads and other Support Leads, developing your own IPS expertise while providing practical support to services across the region.

About You

This role suits an IPS professional with current or recent experience at Employment Specialist or Senior Employment Specialist level who is ready to build on their frontline experience and develop their knowledge of IPS quality and service improvement.

The postholder will lead, develop and motivate a team of support practitioners to ensure that immediate pastoral resettlement support packages are developed and delivered to meet the specific individual needs of each tenant, which ultimately facilitates their moving towards living with a greater independence.

Key Responsibilities 
 

• Provide support, guidance and training to support team to ensure they are equipped with the tools and skills to deliver high quality support and involvement programmes in their area. This includes ensuring that ACH’s internal quality framework for Involvement best practice, and relevant policies and procedures are followed.Train support team in Support Processes to ensure that Support Plans, Risk Assessments, Reviews, Exit Interviews are carried out within the required time frames.
   

• Carry out monthly one to one’s with staff and coordinate weekly or bi weekly staff meetings. 
   

• To line manage staff team and act as the first point of contact and to effectively manage, supervise and develop the support staff and any apprentices or volunteers. 
   

• Support the Housing Team in receiving new referrals and these being processed to ensure empty rooms are let. Work with the Housing Team to ensure that residents are aware of their responsibilities regarding rent payments and licence agreements. 
   

• Work with other ACH teams to maintain effective internal referral procedures for residents to engage with wider ACH services such as Training and Employability Support 

• To maintain an excellent standard of safeguarding practice and awareness throughout the service and staff team and to support staff on safeguarding issues. Working in line with ACH’s Safeguarding Policy to follow up any safeguarding related issues and ensure they are dealt with effectively with appropriate referrals to safeguarding boards, local authorities social services and where necessary the Police. 
   

• To provide and seek training, support and guidance for staff and to implement staff training programmes. Ensuring all staff have completed any mandatory training and any training specific to service delivery.

• Ensure that staff maintain Continuing Professional Development logs that record trainings undertaken. 
   

• Monitor support service ensuring that support plans and risk assessments are reviewed, evaluated and updated regularly. To ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard and clear and concise records are maintained.
   

• Regular monitoring of CRM, making use of data reports to ensure that support outcomes are being reached.

• Carrying out quality audits of support service and report findings to management and make recommendations for service improvements. To ensure best practice through internal auditing and self-monitoring. 
   

• Provide regular information and reports for Committee and other stakeholders to demonstrate the impact of activities and outcomes achieved by the support team.

• Complete monthly Support Service KPI Reports in line with ACH reporting procedure.
   

• Recruit, induct, manage and motivate employees within the team, ensuring they are trained in the performance of their duties and appraised of their performance; organise, supervise and monitor their performance, thereby ensuring the provision of efficient, effective and high quality services. Dealing with all personnel issues in conjunction with the HR Manager as necessary.Maintain personal records on the HR database, manage holiday requests. 
   

• Represent ACH professionally to external stakeholders. 
   

• To work with the Support Service Manager and Head of Support and Housing to ensure effective administrative systems and procedures relating to the effective running of the support service are in place.

Role overview 

Shine supports a community of over 15,000 members living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, including 10,000 adults (25+).

You will be delivering high-quality support and creating opportunities for adults living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus and their carers, supporting Shine members to lead healthy, independent, and fulfilling lives by improving condition management and fostering connections within the Shine community. 

This role will focus on adults (25+), you will be primarily working within the Adult Services Team. However, there will be occasions when you will work across age groups to ensure the best outcomes for our members. 

The role is home-based and ideally you will live within an hour commute of London, within Essex, Kent or Sussex as you will be attending clinics in London and the Southeast as required. There would be occasional travel required across wider areas and nationally including attendance at events, conferences and meetings at our head office in Peterborough.

You will also write personalised reports, contribute to daily farm life through walks, meals and shared activities, and act as the farm’s Designated Safeguarding Lead, helping ensure safeguarding practice is followed confidently and consistently. 

About you :  You’ll bring strong professional experience of working with young people facing challenging circumstances, with the warmth, curiosity and patience to build trusting relationships. You may come from youth work, education, mentoring, social care, pastoral support or a similar field, and will be confident supporting young people through reflective and relational approaches. More about the role: This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of our programme delivery. You will spend much of your time working directly with young people, helping them engage fully in farm life through the shared routines and activities of the day, from feeding rounds and walks to mealtimes and evening activities. You will also plan and lead practical gardening and horticultural sessions, helping young people experience the purpose and satisfaction that come from meaningful work.

Alongside this, you will play a crucial role in coordinating up to 20 visits per year, acting as the key point of liaison with partner schools and organisations, from the point of booking through to meaningful follow-up support after the visit has ended. 

About you: We are looking for someone with at least two years’ experience working with diverse groups of young people, with excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills. You will be able to build strong relationships with young people and adults alike across a range of settings, influence and motivate others, and contribute positively to the wider vision and goals of the charity.

You will have knowledge of gardening or horticulture and the confidence to plan and deliver engaging practical sessions with young people. Experience in a school, social work or similar setting would be helpful. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised and proactive People Assistant to join our fast-paced, friendly People Team. Focusing mainly on the recruitment side of practice, you will act as the first point of contact for all recruitment related queries while supporting managers through the recruitment and onboarding process. About You

You are a proactive, detail-oriented professional with:

• A CIPD level 3 qualification and/or proven experience in HR administration, with a focus on recruitment.
• Experience of delivering excellent customer service in a busy administrative environment
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with ease.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills—you thrive in a people-focused environment and build positive relationships at all levels.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
