As a senior leader within the team, the Membership Engagement Manager will play a key role in delivering AMiE’s mission and supporting the education of mathematics across the sector.

The Association for Mathematics in Education (AMiE) supports anyone involved in mathematics education through a wide range of resources, publications, CPD opportunities and events. We shape the future of mathematics by bringing the sector together and providing a platform for a shared voice to advocate for the learning and teaching of mathematics.

Leading the development and delivery of our membership and engagement strategies, you will ensure that AMiE is focussed on the needs and wants of our members, growing and retaining members and ensuring we fulfil our aim to be a strong and cohesive platform for people across the mathematics education sector to be supported, developed and heard.

The Fundraising Development Administrator will play a vital role in supporting the Director of Fundraising across corporate partnerships, philanthropy and special events.

We are recruiting a Grants Support Administrator to join our dynamic Grants and Programmes team. This role is key to ensuring the smooth running of our grants processes (both applications and live grants management) and to provide general administrative support to the Grants and Programmes team and its Directors.

In the role of Grants Support Administrator, you will be responsible for responding to general enquiries from potential and current grantees and developing and maintaining FAQs for responding to applicants and grant holders. You will work with the Grants Coordinators in processing grant applications through to award or rejection, with managing and processing live grants, and updating records on Salesforce (the Foundation’s applications and grant management CRM). We are looking for someone with excellent administrative and coordination skills, strong communication and liaising abilities, and a problem-solving mindset. You will have experience of previously working in administrative roles, and have knowledge of office systems and processes. This is an exciting opportunity to join Dementia UK as a Mass Participation Manager (Engagement) where you’ll shape how we connect with and inspire mass participation supporters, ensuring every interaction is meaningful, timely and drives long-term engagement. You will be responsible for the stewardship of supporters taking on a virtual event or Dementia UK owned product. The virtual events portfolio at Dementia UK consist of a series of month-long challenges that bring our supporters together online across the UK, for example our upcoming Walk 31 Miles in May challenge. The Owned Products Team is responsible for delivering key flagship events such as Time for a Cuppa, alongside other mass participation fundraising products at Dementia UK. Working closely with the Mass Participation Manager (Virtual Projects) and Mass Participation Manager (Products) you will drive excellent supporter experience, ensuring supporters are engaged, well-supported throughout their events, and motivated to continue their engagement with Dementia UK.

A part of this role will be project based, with the goal to develop supporter experience to build lifetime value of supporters by regularly reviewing stewardship journeys. You will also work with other fundraising teams to identify any other fundraising opportunities to continue the supporter journey after our virtual events to build supporter long term value. You will be managing a team of four and will support them with complaints escalation, first point of contact customer service with mass participation supporters, and identify areas of improvement with the team’s processes.

We are looking for you to have experience with high volume of supporter enquiries and some experience of managing a team or helping them to deliver excellent supporter or customer care, especially in busy periods. You will have experience of delivering supporter journeys and stewardships communications, as well as strong fundraising and stewardship knowledge to motivate, uplift and engage our supporters to build long term value with Dementia UK.

Job Purpose

The Head of Community Support and Operations is a pivotal new role being introduced to the executive team at Barnsley CVS.  This person will be a key role in the growth and development of the executive team.  You will play an exciting part in the delivery and development of the recently developed 4-year strategy and theory of change. Your role will drive intention and focus on developing our support to the sector in a meaningful way to high standards, whilst ensuring our own internal operations reflect best practice.  You will need a strong knowledge of charity set up, management and governance along with a passion for what the VCSE sector does.  You will be confident in people management and development; have the ability to work inclusively with a wide range of people and backgrounds and the skill to see gaps and opportunities for service development.

You will work closely with the Head of Strategic Partnerships to identify gaps and opportunities to develop our offer of support to the sector whether through direct services, training, brokerage agreements or membership offers.  As you identify these opportunities, you will work collaboratively with the Head of Business Development to explore commercial income options that are also in line with our mission and vision.
