About the role

The Access Project is an evidence-based, data driven intervention. Central to our programme are the ways in which we use data to ensure each of our students receives the provision they need, to learn about how we can improve our delivery and to evaluate our impact on our students’ university prospects. We have developed sophisticated monitoring and evaluation systems bringing together data from a variety of sources to track students’ progress (impact management) as well as ascertain their outcomes (impact evaluation). We collect data on our students’ academic and socio-demographic background, their participation on our programme and progress on our bespoke university readiness scales, and their academic results and university destinations. We use this data to intervene in real time when delivery goes off-course but also to understand how The Access Project programmes affect student outcomes and publicize this impact externally.

As part of the Strategy and Impact Team, the Data & Insights Lead will be responsible for ensuring all teams have the right data and to deliver and monitor our programme in a timely and effective way. They will manage, analyse, interpret, and present data and information, most of it recorded on our Salesforce system, to enhance the quality of delivery, maximise the achievement of outcomes by participants and ensure that the project achieves the greatest possible social impact. They will also project manage distinct pieces of work ranging from system optimization to external reporting for impact-related projects and partnerships.

Duties and responsibilities

1) Ensure the efficacy of our monitoring & reporting systems

1. Identifies required changes related to how we collect and manage data in Salesforce so that programme delivery data is available in the right format and at the right frequency to support decision making across teams and allow for accurate reporting.
2. Make recommendations for changes to the Salesforce system in line with this and support the Operations Team with reviewing options.
3. Support other teams to have the confidence and skills to effectively use our monitoring & reporting tools and processes for their specific needs.
4. Identify required improvements to our data processes (e.g. processes for collecting/collating data, for automation, etc), and project manage their implementation.

2) Coordinate the use of data to guide tactical and strategic decision-making on programme delivery and design

1. Define the key questions for our termly performance management meetings and input into the design and content of the dashboards used in these fora.
2. Process and analyse data to derive useful insights about our programme delivery and present your findings effectively to various stakeholders to inform tactical conversations around programme design and delivery.
3. Ensure data is understood and used effectively in decision-making.‘delve deeper’ into programme data to understand trends highlighted by staff, students, and school leaders.schedule performance management meetings at the right time, ensure the right stakeholders are involved, and capture and follow up actions from these meetings as required.

3) Lead other evaluation, research and reporting activities

1. Ensure that student feedback is disseminated, analysed, shared, and used to inform ongoing performance management discussions
2. Lead the data contributions throughout our annual impact evaluation process which may include the preparation of large datasets, as well as analysis and interpretation of data.
3. Drive the monitoring and evaluation of pilot projects, e.g. development of monitoring tools and processes, data analysis, systems development, etc. prepare required datasets for external impact-related reporting. This includes tasks ranging from designing data collection processes, compiling the data, continuously adapting processes, and communicating effectively with all internal stakeholders.

To help achieve our mission, Crisis is looking for a Data Insight Analyst to join the Data, Digital and Technology team. We are embarking on a project to change our CRM to Microsoft Dynamics and to move our Database onto Azure. To account for this changing infrastructure, the Insight team will work on updating our suite of reports, largely based in Power BI.

About the role 

As a Data Insight Analyst, you will assist in updating and creating PowerBI dashboards and apps. You will collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to gather requirements and develop reports that enable accessible monitoring of key metrics. As our current suite of dashboards need to be reworked, this role offers a good opportunity to shape a data visualisation project from start to finish, helping Crisis make evidence-based decisions in our pursuit to end homelessness.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication skills, particularly when it comes to conveying complex, quantitative information to a non-technical audience. You will be able to identify requirements and deliver synthesised findings in an accessible and engaging manner. Additionally, you will have technical experience in PowerBI and SQL, from querying relational databases to building impactful visualisations. 

You may also have experience working with Microsoft Dynamics, Azure SQL Database, website analytics, product analytics, customer analysis, digital analytics, Jira, data science, Tableau, Python/R or excel.

Barnardo's are excited to be recruiting to a new post – a Wellbeing Practitioner who will be embedded within the Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children and Young People (UASC) team within Nottinghamshire County Council.  This new opportunity will be part of the larger Time 2 Talk team based within Nottinghamshire County Council's Leaving Care team.   

We are recruiting to one fixed term post of one year at 37 hours per week.  This post will be employed by Barnardo's and will primarily be based in Arnold.  However the post will involve travel across the County and potentially further afield depending on where UASC young people are located.Nottinghamshire County Council's UASC team works across children in care and leaving care services, and works with young people from the age of approx. 14 to 25.

We are looking to recruit 1 full time (37 hours) Wellbeing Practitioner for one year with the following qualifications/skills/experience:

• A professional qualification (Minimum Diploma level), with evidence of continuing professional development in a field relevant to child and young person mental health

We are now seeking a Digital Communications Lead (maternity cover) who will develop and deliver our digital communications to build awareness, understanding and engagement with Rewilding Britain and our mission. To lead the development and delivery of Rewilding Britain's digital communications output, to inform, engage and activate audiences in support of our charitable aims.

Objectives of the role: 

Social media

• In line with our organisational objectives, lead on building our profile, reputation and engagement on social media with key audiences.

• Plan and deliver inspiring and effective social media content, including as part of engagement campaigns, fundraising appeals, and initiative launches, and in support of our partners and members.

Terms and conditions and staff benefits

This role is as maternity cover (9 months with possibility of extension).

This is a full time 5 day (35 hour) a week position, but we are open to a conversation with candidates who are seeking a role of 28-35 hours a week.

There will be some freedom for the person to determine their own working arrangements each week, within limitations, providing the work is delivered.

The salary is £35-40,000 f.t.e. per annum, dependent on skills and experience.

Job Purpose 

Sitting within BSR’s exciting External Affairs & Audit team the Clinical Audit Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the on-going work of the National Early Inflammatory Arthritis Audit (NEIAA) to gather evidence and drive up the quality of care for patients living with inflammatory arthritis. With touch points across the Rheumatology community, the NHS and health regulators, the NEIAA project is an essential tool in achieving this part of our five-year strategy. At a busy and important time for the NEIAA project this is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to develop their organisational, project management and stakeholder relation skills as we work towards producing our 6th ‘State of the Nation’ report and securing an extension of the Audit contract. 

Main responsibilities

• To provide administrative support to the NEIAA project manager such as setting up business processes, engaging with stakeholders and managing the audit mailbox as the first point of contact.
• Liaise with the governance groups for the audit project and assist with the coordination of NEIAA meetings by preparing agendas, taking minutes, and undertaking follow-up actions.
• To assist in the development of communications around the NEIAA project including with the Annual Report.

Caseworker

Forces Employment Charity is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Caseworker to join our team working on the CFO (Co-financing Organisation) programme in partnership with the probation service.
