Can you help us?

We are seeking a Digital Manager to oversee the FSRH digital infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration across our website Content Management System (iMIS RiSE), member engagement platform (iMIS), and Learning Management System. The ideal candidate will expertly manage digital development initiatives, maintain productive relationships with technology suppliers, and deliver responsive first-line technical support.

With strong content management capabilities, you will ensure all web and LMS content adheres to brand guidelines, implement SEO best practice, and deliver an exceptional user experience. You will also facilitate comprehensive staff training, spearhead strategic digital improvements, and leverage analytics to drive data-informed decisions that enhance both member engagement and organisational effectiveness.

The role:

Team leadership

• To manage the FSRH Digital Team consisting of a Data Manager

Digital platform ownership

• Work closely with the Data Manager to ensure the integration between the website (iMIS RiSE), our Learning Management System and member engagement system (iMIS) continues to work well.
• Plan and support delivery of any development work from a website perspective in close collaboration with staff where necessary and with the website supplier and implementation partner, where necessary. This includes understanding and specifying business requirements sufficiently well for suppliers to quote against and undertake the required development work.
• To liaise with third party suppliers on a regular basis regarding integration between digital platforms including the website (iMIS RiSE) member engagement system (iMIS), LMS and other online products.
• Act as the first line of support for technical issues related to the FSRH website, associated websites, and the Learning Management System (LMS). Collaborate with staff and external developers to identify solutions and escalate issues to external support when necessary.

Website and LMS content

• Create, develop and manage content on the FSRH website and LMS, ensuring all updates align with the organisation’s tone of voice and brand guidelines. Apply knowledge of SEO best practices and user experience principles to enhance visibility, accessibility, and overall content effectiveness.
• Train and support identified staff to use the content management system (iMIS RiSE) and to understand the basics of good website copy. Ensure that content changes are of high standard and good quality.
• Consider user journeys in all aspects of content development and updates, ensuring that navigation and structure support intuitive and meaningful user experiences.
• To ensure processes for regularly reviewing, prioritising and refreshing all web content are maintained and overseen, liaising with teams across the organisation.
• Work closely with the Marketing Team to support key campaigns by providing website support where needed.

Website analytics

• Maintain and manage Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager implementations, using these and additional data sources to monitor website performance, produce regular reports, and deliver actionable recommendations for optimisation and feature enhancement.
• Using website analytics and other tools to understand user behaviour.

Strategic digital development

• Lead the strategic development and continuous improvement of the website to ensure they meet evolving user needs, support organisational objectives, and deliver content more effectively.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging website and digital trends, tools, and technologies, and advise on possible improvements or alternative approaches to digital solutions, particularly in areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AA) and machine-learning.

Other

• To ensure all FSRH digital platforms and associated information adheres to Data Protection laws and current FSRH policies.

You will be:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent by experience 

You will have:

• Previous experience in a similar digital management role 
• Experience working with website Content Management Systems (CMS)
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Knowledge of user experience (UX) principles
• A basic understanding of HTML
• A strong understanding of SEO, page optimisation, and website copywriting
• Technical understanding of digital systems and platforms
• Creativity in designing engaging, accurate content with a high level of attention to detail
• Experience using Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager
• Experience and understanding of GDPR and its practical application
• Confidence in managing multiple projects and working with stakeholders across departments and seniority levels
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, with a good working knowledge of Office 365

About The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and creative Marketing & Communications Manager who can work well in a team and deliver on our visitor marketing strategy.
 
This role has responsibility to implement the National Visitor Marketing (NVM) and communications strategy for WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre, ensuring alignment with the WWT visitor proposition and brand.

Job Title: Domestic Abuse Helpline IDVA

Location: Warwickshire

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Domestic Abuse Helpline IDVA, supporting women and children who are impacted by domestic violence. You will work closely with victims of domestic abuse from the point of crisis, to provide high quality independent advocacy and support to survivors of domestic abuse at the highest risk and their children as well as working closely with Refuge’s community outreach service support workers, the MARAC team, deputy managers, and the refuge accommodation team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative way across all referring agencies and therefore it is an important aspect of this job that the post holder has experience of working collaboratively with a range of other agencies.

Some of the key responsibilities for this role are to provide a single point of contact for referrers, including self-referrals, into Refuge’s duty referral line/ helpline service and to establish the risks to and the needs of survivors of domestic abuse, identifying and prioritising those at the highest risk. You will also support the empowerment of survivors, assisting them to recognise the dynamics of domestic abuse present in their own situation, and to help them regain control of their lives.

As a Dementia Adviser, you will have the rewarding opportunity to provide support, information, and guidance to people with dementia and their carers; helping to maintain their independence, improving their sense of well-being, and putting them in more control of their lives. You will be able to travel independently throughout the whole of the South Tyneside area.
The service is unique to each person we support as it is based upon their personal circumstances and support needs. You will offer support to your clients in a variety of ways, whether in the client's own home, or at other locations in the community, face to face, by phone, letter, or email. You will also support service users to access other services, providing signposting and referrals.
Your role as a Dementia Adviser will include:

- Providing a person-centred and outcomes focused information, information and advice service to people affected by dementia and their carers.
- Identifying people’s needs and the services they may wish to access, give advice about how to live well with dementia and support the improvement of their sense of wellbeing.
- You will be community based which means working from home and spending time in the community completing home visits, promoting our service at events and occasionally giving dementia awareness talks to groups
- Engaging with a variety of professionals from health, social care, voluntary and community sector. You will build relationships to ensure referrals into our service, and you have knowledge of services and support available for people with dementia and carers.

About you

- Ability and interest in supporting people to maintain their independence, improve their sense of well-being, and help them take more control of their lives.
- Understanding of dementia and the needs of those living with dementia and their carers would be an advantage. If you have had experience supporting with other diagnosis or support requirements this would be taken into consideration.
- Experience with communicating with a wide range of people, adapting your approach to ensure understanding at all levels.

Support Worker Driver

Support Worker with additional driving duties – Children's Services

£25,412 - £25,837 per annum, pro rata (£13.17 - £13.39 per hour) plus an additional £1000 per annum for the driving element of the role and the opportunity for an additional £1575 per annum for undertaking additional responsibilities pro rata.

As a Support Worker Driver, you will be using company owned vehicles (up to nine seater), where you will assist the people we support to access the local community, medical appointments, family contact and activities.

Role overview

Our client is recruiting a number of Support Workers who are passionate about supporting disabled children and adults. You will be working in a team based in either one of their Children's Homes supporting up to 4 children with Autistic Spectrum Condition, learning disability and/or complex health needs

They aim to transform the lives of children and young adults they support through their commitment to excellence.

The work is challenging but, as no two days are ever the same, it is rewarding and enjoyable.

Contracts

They offer a range of contract types.

Full Time - Average 37 hours per week (with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts). Working hours will be averaged out over a three week rolling period and will include both weekday and weekend shifts arranged by managers. Sleep in shifts will also be required on a rota basis for which an additional flat rate payment is made.
Weekend - 16, 21.5 or 29 hours per week (with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts). Weekend contracts can be worked between Friday night and Sunday night. Occasional sleep in shifts may be required.

Training

Staff will receive all the training they require to fulfil their role. Training takes place during weekdays and staff must be available to attend introductory mandatory training and refresher training as required. Training dates are issued in advance.

NVQs – staff who do not have an equivalent or higher qualification are required to complete a relevant NVQ qualification within two years of commencing employment. This is paid for by them and full support to complete the qualification is given.

Overview of Role: To provide operational and administrative support across the RSN’s educational programmes, including the Certificate and Diploma, Tutor Training Course, Short Courses, International Summer School and On Demand Courses.

The main duties include, but are not limited to

General Administration

• Manage the Education Email Inboxes, responding to queries and complaints as appropriate
• Monitor and order stock levels, ensuring supplies are available as needed.
• Handle the packing and mailing of kits and materials, both nationally and internationally
• Support classroom setup for various courses, including Short Courses, Bespoke Classes, and events
• Assist in preparing beverages for students and visitors, maintaining cleanliness in the area.
• Escort visitors and guests from reception, including tour groups, while representing the RSN brand confidently and enthusiastically
• Attend offsite events as required.

Course-Related Administration

• Support the Certificate and Diploma Programme Managers in the administration of the course
• Assist the Tutor Training and Short Course Manager with the coordination and logistics of classes and events.
• Manage on-demand course operations, including kit fulfilment, customer support, and quality improvements, alongside administering the RSN Fellowship programme, coordinating CPD events, and supporting membership initiatives
• Provide logistical support for educational tours and other departmental activities. 3. Other Duties o Maintain a professional and efficient workflow within the Education team
• Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Director of Education and the Education Management Team, including scheduling, correspondence, and maintaining organised records to facilitate programme delivery
• Undertake any additional activities required by your line manager within the scope of this role. You will not be expected to perform all the above duties, but we will expect you to be able to cover for colleagues where appropriate.

About the role 

Sightsavers’ Mozambique country office (MCO) oversees the implementation of Sightsavers’ programmes in Mozambique that focus on eye health (cataracts and refractive error), Neglected Tropical Diseases (trachoma and onchocerciasis) and social inclusion (economic empowerment), with the finance function overseeing a vast portfolio of activities covering the various aspects of finance and administration. At this moment, the role of Finance & Support Services Manager (FSSM) is currently vacant in Mozambique at a time where the total programme portfolio is at a significant level. 

Given this vacancy at management level, combined with significant levels of programme funding planned in Mozambique for the foreseeable future, this is a great opportunity for the organisation to understand the current gaps and needs for the country office finance and support services (FSS) function going forward. 

As the Senior Finance Consultant, you will provide expert advice on the steps and resources required to transform the FSS function, within the next 12 to 18 months and lead on the implementation the agreed transformation roadmap. 

Further responsibilities include: 

Finance & Support Services transformation 

• Working with a steering group of global and regional senior finance and operations staff to define clear objectives for the transformation of the FSS function in Mozambique. 

• Review all relevant reports and documents and consult with key stakeholders to complete a situation analysis for the MCO FSS function (current strengths, weaknesses, gaps, requirements over the next 3 years, etc.). 

• Work with the MCO management team to develop a 12-month transformation roadmap for approval by the steering group. 

• Lead the implementation of the roadmap and be accountable for completion of agreed milestones. 

• Provide regular reports on progress with implementation of the roadmap to the steering group. 

Interim Finance & Support Services Manager (FSSM) for the country office 

The Senior Finance Consultant will act as an interim FSSM for the country office, and these duties involve: 

Financial Management 

• Ensure financial control and managing risk. 

• Ensure the conformity to the Sightsavers Global Financial Framework. 

• Ensure compliance to all applicable global and local regulations, as well as governance requirements. 

Administration and Support Services 

• Lead in facilitating the implementation of administrative organisational policies and procedures. 

• Manage logistics, supplies, and purchases as per Sightsavers’ procurement policy. 

• Ensure IT Equipment and connectivity for MCO runs in line with IT policies. 

• Support and line manage administrative staff. 

Project and Programme Management 

• Provide effective support to MCO programme teams 

• Support, administer and strengthen financial management, accountability, and capacities of partners. 

• Ensure proper financial monitoring of projects including audit of funds provided. 

• Oversee financial monitoring of partners at all levels. 

Human Resource Management 

• Support the OP&F Senior Human Resources Business Partner in implementing relevant HR policies and procedures at MCO level. 

• Manage and facilitate staff development plans for MCO. 

Skills and Experience 

As the ideal candidate you will hold a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. You will also possess a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CFA), have extensive experience in financial and operational management, and have experience working for an INGO/NGO in a Finance role. 

Further requirements include: 

• Experience in a management/senior management role. 

• Proven experience in managing staff in a Finance environment. 

• Experience in financial, fund management and donor compliance aspects of programme implementation. 

• Demonstrated stakeholder and change management abilities. 

• Bilingual (lusophone/English).

We are seeking candidates who have experience working in a finance function and have skills in office management and administration including data processing. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance and Corporate Services, the role provides support in bookkeeping, credit control (inputting of sales and purchases invoices), health and safety and smooth running of the office (ranging from ensuring there is milk in the fridge to ordering stationery as well as IT requirements). As the main point of contact for callers and visitors an awareness of excellent customer service will also be needed. The role is very varied and will suit a candidate skilled at multi-tasking and who has attention to detail. 

The appointment comes at a pivotal moment: in September 2023, after 25 years of community campaigning, Crystal Palace Park Trust took over custodianship of this unique landscape via a 125-year lease from the London Borough of Bromley.
