YES care about young people's mental health, sexual health and wellbeing. The Outreach and Support Officer will deliver knowledgeable, high-quality, youth-centred support to young people in various settings.

You will get out into the community via outreach engagement, offering one-to-one support, events and groups.  You iwill be a key part of our Information and Guidance team, delivering wellbeing programmes and workshops for YES.

· Actively maintain high levels of public awareness of the CCF, its aims and activities, in support of the attracting more cadets and suitable adult volunteers to the organisation.

How are staff supported to work remotely? 

VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community.

Support Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke. We are looking for an innovative, passionate and professional individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join the Stroke Recovery Service based in East Berkshire.

Position: S11360 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Homebased, Reading and Wokingham. However, extensive travel will be required as part of this role (May include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Hours: Part-time, 24 hours per week

Salary: Circa £19,400 per annum - FTE circa £28,340.58 per annum (inner London weighting £3,950 per annum/pro rata or outer London weighting £2,457 per annum/pro rata may be applied in accordance to where you live)

Contract: Permanent. Services are contracted and there is currently funding for this contract until March 2031.

The Role

The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes. A key part of the role will be to support service users and the delivery of the service.

Reporting to the Stroke Service Delivery Coach, the Stroke Support Coordinator will:

• Support new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
• Provide personalised information, advice and support.
• Support clients to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes
• Be accountable for volunteers, so experience of recruiting, training and managing volunteers would be an advantage.
• You will have excellent IT skills and demonstrate a flexible approach to your role.

About You

The post holder will have experience/background in:

• A caring profession ideally with experience of supporting people with disabilities.
• Setting up and running virtual groups.

This role requires extensive travel across a large geographical locality to visit people at home and in community settings.  Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role

Methodist Chapel Aid Ltd (MCA) is a long‑established bank specialising in lending to churches and associated organisations across the UK. As we enter a period of planned growth in both lending and deposits, we are seeking a Chief Finance Officer who will also serve as Company Secretary and act as deputy to the Chief Executive. This is a rare opportunity to shape the financial strategy of a small, regulated financial institution with a strong mission-driven purpose.

What the role offers

You will hold SMF2 responsibility and lead MCA’s financial strategy, ensure robust governance, and oversee the organisation’s financial operations. As a key member of the leadership team, you will work closely with the Board and Chief Executive to support sustainable growth, maintain regulatory compliance, and strengthen our financial systems and controls. The role combines strategic influence with hands‑on responsibility - ideal for someone who thrives in a small, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operational Duties: Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the Company, including financial processes, monthly and year-end accounts, staff supervision, Board reporting and support for key governance committees.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the Company meets all PRA, FCA, HMRC and other regulatory requirements, including the preparation of regulatory returns and documentation.
• Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial leadership including budgeting, forecasting, capital and liquidity planning, financial reporting, and assessment of loan applications.
• Company Secretary Duties: Support the Board in fulfilling its governance and statutory responsibilities, including maintaining statutory records and advising on governance best practice.

Essential experience and attributes

• Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Senior finance leadership experience, ideally within a regulated financial services environment.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts and managing external audits.
• Ability to operate effectively in a small organisation with hands‑on responsibilities.
• Experience advising Boards and supporting governance or Company Secretary functions.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial matters clearly.
• Commitment to good governance.
• Adaptable, collaborative and comfortable balancing strategic and operational work.

Desirable experience

• Background in banking, mutual organisations, church or charity finance.
• Strong understanding of PRA/FCA regulatory frameworks and prudential requirements.
• Knowledge of mission‑based or niche lending sectors, particularly lending to churches.
• Experience acting as deputy to a Chief Executive or contributing to strategic planning.

We are looking for someone with great communication and project development skills to join us as a LiveLife Project Coordinator. Joining a busy and highly effective team, this role will help deliver two major programmes of work for Lingen Davies. With a primary focus on cancer awareness raising to address health inequalities (early diagnosis, cancer screening and prevention), we use a range of activities and settings to effectively engage with the public and target communities. This work is focussed in the following areas:

• Cancer Champions Project (focus on Telford). Working in partnership colleagues, along with NHS Shropshire Telford &Wrekin, and Qube, to deliver and maintain the Telford component of the project.
• LiveLife community cancer awareness programme. Our Lingen Davies community health promotion initiative, bringing cancer awareness to communities across the region.
