Head of Fundraising (Mat Cover)

Contract: 12-15 months (Maternity Cover) 
Salary: £48,250–£51,189 (pro rata where applicable) 
Hours: 5 days/week, applications from candidates seeking flexible or reduced hours welcome 
Start date: November/December 2026 

We are looking for a capable and innovative Head of Fundraising (Maternity Cover) to join Z2K later this year. Someone who: 

• has a strong track record across fundraising disciplines, ideally including trusts and foundations;  
• can evolve and implement our fundraising strategy;  
• is confident building relationships with funders, donors and senior stakeholders;  
• can spot opportunities to diversify income and turn ideas into action;  
• can make a compelling case for change, using evidence, impact and people’s experiences;  
• enjoys working collaboratively and can bring colleagues with them;  
• is comfortable working in a small organisation where everyone gets involved.
