The role focuses on providing high-quality support to individuals in mental health crisis. You will assist clients during their stay, helping to reduce immediate distress and develop plans to prevent future crises. This includes working collaboratively with statutory and voluntary mental health services to ensure effective, multi-agency support. All interventions should reflect the organisation's values and commitment to recovery, co-production, and person-centred care, while following established policies and procedures.​

Able to work both independently and as part of a team, you will support and induct peer staff and volunteers while working effectively with statutory services such as the NHS. You will have a good awareness of health and safety and safeguarding responsibilities, alongside strong IT, literacy, and numeracy skills to maintain clear and accurate records. Flexibility is essential, as the role requires working across a shift pattern to include weekends.

About the Youth Endowment Fund

We’re here to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence.

We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice.

In recent years violent crime has risen significantly. Homicides, assaults, robberies and offences involving weapons have all seen sustained growth. We have also seen large increases in violent crime involving children and young people. This is a tragedy. Every child captured in these numbers is an important member of our community and society has a duty to protect them.

The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) is a charity with a £200m endowment and a mission that matters. We exist to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by funding great initiatives, finding what works

and working for change - scaling and spreading the practices that make a difference.

One of the most important things we do is make sure our commissioning and procurement processes run smoothly and efficiently. We manage complex grant agreements and partnerships that support projects designed to create real impact. To do this well, we need accurate data, clear processes and strong coordination across teams and partners. The Delivery Operations Manager role is critical to making that happen. Reporting to the Senior Grants and Commissioning Manager, you’ll be the central point for operational delivery; drafting and managing grant agreements, maintaining data integrity in Salesforce and ensuring payments and requirements are processed correctly.

You’ll onboard partners, resolve issues quickly and keep everything organised so our teams can focus on delivering change. By supporting operations and improvements, you’ll help us maximise the impact of every pound we invest.

Key Responsibilities

Your role would be essential to keeping our commissioning and procurement processes running smoothly and efficiently. By ensuring consistency, accuracy and timely communication, you’ll help our teams work brilliantly and enable the organisation to deliver funding that makes a real difference. Manage grant agreements and contract administration in response to the needs of each team:

o Draft, prepare and execute initial grant agreements and subsequent variations, using Adobe e-Sign where required.

o Accurately input and maintain all project data in Salesforce, including requirements, financial commitments, payment schedules and supporting documents.

o Process adjustments to grant commitments, payment schedules and requirements promptly and accurately.

o Conduct regular data accuracy spot checks in Salesforce to maintain data integrity.

Coordinate grantees and partners

o Onboarding new grantees, evaluators and researchers onto our designated community platform when they are approved by each team.

o Act as a main point of contact for Programmes, Evaluation, Change and Evidence teams to resolve payment approval issues and discrepancies when they come up.

o Chase external partners for outstanding invoices and ensure timely resolution of payment-related queries.

Provide directorate-specific support

o For the Programmes team: Manage the team inbox, allocate new

applications to assessors, set up interviews and provide GEM administrative support when required.

o For the Evaluation team: Maintain an evaluation report tracking system to monitor deadlines and ensure timely submissions.

o Ensure data archiving is completed and shared with ONS/DfE as required.

Support process improvements and system integrity

o Assist the Senior Grants and Commissioning Manager and Assistant Director of Finance and Operations in implementing improvements to commissioning and procurement processes.

o Provide backup technical support for Salesforce during periods when the Senior Grants and Commissioning Manager is unavailable or requires assistance.

o Identify and suggest process enhancements to drive efficiency and consistency across commissioning operations.

Enable effective communication and reporting

o Serve as the main point of contact for initial commissioning and procurement requests when they arise, ensuring streamlined processes and avoiding duplication.

o Provide timely responses and clear communication to internal teams to improve stakeholder experience.

The Role

What will I be doing? 

The role oversees: 

• Creation and management of Data governance frameworks 

• Creation and management of Data quality controls and lifecycle management 

• In collaboration with a data warehouse management partner, to design and implement Data ingestion, modelling, warehousing and reporting, using a data discovery audit carried out in 2025

• Vendor delivery and technical oversight 

• Organisation‑wide data literacy and cultural change 

• This includes managing risks; ensuring GDPR and security controls are applied, and enabling teams across all directorates to make informed, data‑driven decisions

Projects you work on may include: 

• Delivery and optimisation of the outsourced data warehouse, including Snowflake architecture and Azure hosting

• Implementation of data ingestion pipelines with a data warehouse partner using tools such Fivetran and transformation workflows using Medallion and Kimball principles

• Establishment of the organisation‑wide data governance model, including catalogues, lineage, role‑based access controls and quality metrics

• Supporting directorates with reporting needs using Power BI and improving data consistency

• Through the use of training partners; upskilling staff and embedding a sustainable data‑driven culture through training and champions

Who will I work with? 

• The outsourced data warehouse supplier team (data engineers, architects, analysts) 

• Internal stakeholders across all five IOP Directorates to support consistent data governance and quality

The Service Desk Analyst is a key role within the Technology function, acting as the first and second line of support for end users across the organisation. Key Responsibility: To provide administrative support across the Communities and Inclusion team.

• Administering the Community Groups inbox and acting as the first point of contact for general enquiries from current and prospective community groups.

Grants

We award over £500,000 in grant funding every year. The role will include

• Administering the Grants inbox.
• Supporting the administration of our grant portfolio, including collating of reviewer scores and EDI data monitoring via the grants database.

Membership

Westway Trust is looking for an inspiring and motivated Health & Social Care Tutor to deliver high-quality teaching to adult learners in North Kensington. You will design and deliver the Level 1 Award in Health and Social Care, supporting learners through engaging sessions, effective assessment, and tailored guidance.

The role involves preparing lessons and resources, carrying out initial assessments, tracking learner progress and attendance, and supporting learners to achieve positive outcomes. You will also contribute to the development of the adult learning programme and achieve key performance targets set by the GLA and RBKC.

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

Teaching

• Deliver high quality sessions including theory and practical demonstrations.
• Lessons are well prepared, suitable resources are developed and marking and assessment is carried out to a high standard in a timely manner (including Scheme of Work and Lesson Plans)
• Appropriate diagnostics carried out to ensure learners are on the correct programme.
• Progress is monitored and tracked through one to ones and tutorials.
• Individual Learning Plans produced for all learners and termly Progress Reviews carried out and kept up to date.
• Learner attendance and punctuality is monitored and where this falls below expectations, suitable interventions are carried out.

Administration

• Maintaining up to date course files and submitting accurate data on attendance and achievement within agreed deadlines.
• Preparing groups of learners for accredited assessment (exam or portfolio) & non accredited assessment (RARPA), marking assessments and taking part in internal moderation and/or consultation meetings with appropriate Trust staff.
• Providing feedback on appropriate documentation for example observation, IQA reports etc.
• Running end of course evaluations and writing tutor end of course reviews.

General 

• To comply with any Health & Safety regulations and, in particular, be familiar with the procedure to be adopted in case of fire and or other Health and Safety concerns e.g. Risk Assessments.
• To attend and participate in meetings, including management meetings, end of term tutor meetings and Westway Trust staff meetings.
• Attending training with Westway Trust and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and keeping up to date with developments in adult learning.

Qualifications:

• A relevant qualification at Level 3 or higher in Health and Social Care or, equivalent relevant and recent experience.
• Either a full teaching qualification for working in adult learning (DTLLS, PGCE or DET) or, a willingness to work towards a teaching qualification
• Previous experience in assessing and tutoring adult health & social care learners.
• Proven experience in adult education.
• A minimum GCSE English Grade C or equivalent.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Experience of teaching and assessing Health and Social Care qualifications in post 16/further education or adult education.
• Experience of teaching adult learners of mixed abilities and an understanding of appropriate teaching strategies in a similar role.
• Occupational competence/experience in health and social care setting.
• Experience of assessing and recording progress, both in accredited and non-accredited learning and supporting learners.
• Knowledge and experience of working with a variety of exam boards.
• Understanding of the RARPA (Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement in non-accredited learning) system.
• Experience of working/teaching refugees and or asylum seekers.

Personal Skills:

• The ability to plan programmes of work and develop creative, relevant activities that will facilitate learning.
• The ability to motivate and encourage learners with a variety of learning experiences and from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to work as part of a highly collaborative team.
• A flexible approach and a willingness to teach in a variety of community venues and to teach cover classes as required.

No one enjoys medical procedures, least of all children. From facing everyday vaccinations to the most serious of surgeries and chronic conditions, all children experience varying degrees of apprehension and fear. Our Strategy and the Professional Training & Development Manager role

Over recent years, we have been re-positioning Starlight from a wish-granting charity to a charity that supports children to experience the power of play in healthcare settings to improve their mental health and wellbeing. These changes have made an exponential difference to the immediate impact that we can achieve for children, as well as the opportunity to create real social value in the efficiency of treatment; and to our ability to advocate for long-term systemic change in the way children experience healthcare.

Central to improving children’s experience is having access to experienced and properly equipped play professionals. Through our Champions network and collaborative working across the healthcare sector, we have developed strong networks; shared best practice, offered opportunities for training and connection and raised awareness of the importance of play professionals and a culture of play in healthcare settings. Our Taskforce work with NHS England has also clearly outlined the need for workforce accreditation and development.

While we continue to advocate at a systemic level for the recognition of the play workforce and their need for a strategy for their development, this role is vital in providing more immediate and tangible support to the professionals who make our work possible. 3 The Professional Training & Development Manager will be integral in sharing Starlight’s knowledge of Play by training and developing key roles within health play settings to ensure Play becomes a foundation of every child’s health care journey. They will support wider understanding of the importance of a culture of play in paediatric healthcare.

Main purpose of the role

The main purpose of this role is to develop and maintain effective and mutually supportive relationships with health professionals, creating communities of practice and resourcing knowledge exchange across the sector. Through these relationships, you will deepen our understanding of the training and workforce development needs of play professionals and identify and develop opportunities for training and sharing of best practice, Working closely across the Children’s Services your work will contribute to raising awareness of the importance of a culture of play for children’s mental health and wellbeing and for the health and efficiency of the NHS.

Help keep our day centre and night shelter for people experiencing homelessness run smoothly and effiiciently. 

About the role 

The Operations Coordinator will play an important role in the smooth running of the day centre and night shelter. Working with the Operations Lead, the post holder will secure a diverse and active cohort of volunteers able to fill all the necessary shifts, ensure the building is well maintained and manage the stock of necessary provisions so that guests are adequately provided for. We particularly welcome those with lived experience of homelessness who are able to bring their ‘expertise through experience’ to the role.

Key responsibilities:

Volunteers

• Work with the Operations Lead in the recruitment, training and onboarding of our volunteers, coordinating any relevant checks as required
• Manage volunteer rotas for all our projects: ensuring all shifts are filled in a timely fashion
• Contribute to our engagement with volunteers to ensure they have the best possible experience. This includes supporting the Operations Lead in managing the volunteer advisory group and the provision of training and development of volunteers
• Ensure the volunteer CRM system is kept up to date with all aspects of volunteer data and contribute ideas and actions to improve the process
• Contribute to regular volunteer communication including volunteer newsletters
• Contribute to reports for trustees and other stakeholders on our volunteers and their contribution to the smooth running of the centre.

Premises

• Timely reporting of any damage to the property, fixtures and fittings and liaising with the local authority and repair teams
• Undertake actions as required to ensure the health and safety of the premises, guests, staff, and volunteers. This includes fire alarm tests and fire drills, emergency lighting tests, acting as a fire warden, security alarm tests, and any other health and safety aspects of the premises.

Logistics and administration

• Undertake the ordering of food, stocking of food donations, and timely communications to volunteer cooks
• Ensure all costs are properly recorded and shared with our bookkeeper
• Undertake other administrative tasks as required.

Organisational engagement

• Contribute to organisational strategic planning and review of progress
• Contribute to the development of grant proposals and reporting as required
• Contribute to the development of relevant organisational policies and procedures
• Develop collaborative working relationships with all staff and volunteers.
