Job description

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated Deaf or Disabled person to join our busy Advice & Advocacy Team as a Caseworker. Merton CIL is a Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisation (DDPO) which promotes the independence and inclusion of Deaf and Disabled people, challenges discrimination and works to achieve change locally.

35 hours per week fixed-term contract until 31 March 2021 (with the possibility of extension) at a starting salary of £25,000.00 per annum.

You must have at least one year’s experience of providing welfare benefits advice to members of the public on a one-to-one basis. This can be on a paid or voluntary basis. You will be expected to have an excellent working knowledge of all health and disability benefits.
