Key responsibilities

As the Product Development Lead you will be a crucial role within the fundraising team, focusing on the strategic planning and execution of a diverse range of fundraising products. This position is pivotal in identifying innovative opportunities that resonate with the charity's strategic vision, leading efforts in insight gathering, ideation, prototyping, and testing. The aim is to craft fundraising products that not only raise funds but also enhance the quality of life for the beneficiaries.
In addition to product creation and development, this role involves extensive collaboration with various stakeholders across the three charities, including NHS front-line staff, directors, and senior leadership, to foster a culture of innovation and support for new initiatives. As part of the Fundraising Innovation strategy, the role encompasses leading new product development sprints, analysing fundraising events, and working closely with managers to capitalise on collaborative opportunities, all aimed at increasing income and diversifying the funding base.
They are seeking someone who has a strong understanding of new product development principles and the ability to take products from concept to market, ideally gained within a fundraising setting. You will have experience using data insight for decision-making, and time management skills to consistently meet deadlines. Experience in building relationships and influencing stakeholders across the organization, as well as knowledge of fundraising regulation, databases, and Facebook fundraising, are highly desirable attributes for this role.
