Brief role description
The young people programme supports young people from Forces families aged 16 to 24, particularly those who are disadvantaged, affected by mobility, at risk of becoming NEET or who have Special Educational Needs (SEN). The programme aims to broaden horizons, raise aspirations and build skills and confidence. It connects young people with meaningful employment opportunities through a combination of one-to-one mentoring and employment support, group workshops, employer events, digital training, work experience and apprenticeships.
As part of a small team, the Education and Skills Liaison will lead on engaging, developing and managing relationships with schools, youth and community groups, military charities, the MOD Education Team, the SCiP Alliance, Families Federations, HIVE and other key stakeholders to advocate for children and young people from Forces families.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for someone with a background in education and/or experience supporting young people to overcome challenges. You will have experience in a customer-focused environment and a track record of delivering to SLAs. You will also be a strong collaborator and team player, with demonstrable influencing skills and coaching or mentoring experience.
You will be a self-starter with confidence to use your own initiative and a passion for supporting the Armed Forces community. You will have an understanding of the challenges faced by forces families in finding appropriate and sustainable employment. In addition, you will have strong operational and administrative skills, knowledge of GDPR and experience using CRMs.
The ideal candidate will have lived experience of the Armed Forces lifestyle, a background in secondary or further education and a NVQ Level 6 in Advice, Information and Guidance.
This position is remote; however, candidates must be based in Hampshire to support local engagement activities and demonstrate knowledge of regional authorities and organisations.
This is a fixed-term position for 12 months. The contract end date will be confirmed at the offer stage.

We're looking for someone who not only loves and cares for animals but is also resilient and resourceful in dealing with humans! This is a brand-new position within our Shelter's small team of dedicated staff and volunteers. Everything we do is in service of our mission to Rescue, Love, Repeat, taking in animals who have nowhere else to go, giving them the care they need, and finding them the homes they deserve. You'll report to the Chair of our Fundraising and Promotion Committee and work closely with our Operations Manager, with strategy and support offered throughout. Your role will be operational, with a focus on delivery and community engagement, and you'll be encouraged to make your own mark on it as we grow.
Destitute Animals Shelter has developed a Fundraising Strategy for 2025 – 27, and we're looking to diversify our income streams to make sure we're hitting the financial targets that cover the rising costs of the good work we do daily at our Shelter. The Role
Reporting to the Emotional Support Service Manager, the team will deliver a professional counselling service to stroke survivors, carers and relatives. Counselling sessions are designed to help clients to develop emotional resilience, readjust to life after stroke and prepare to reintegrate into community life.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Providing one to one counselling to stroke survivors, carers and relatives including those with communication or cognitive difficulties
· Providing counselling sessions in person, on-line or by telephone, throughout Liverpool.
· Assessing the appropriateness of counselling for service users by providing emotional needs assessment sessions as well as using appropriate screening/evaluation tools (e.g. PHQ and GAD)
· Managing risk and safeguarding issues in accordance with appropriate legal, ethical and organisational requirements.
About You
You will have:
· An advanced diploma in integrative, humanistic or person-centred counselling/psychotherapy; for example, BACP recognised course or equivalent (i.e. 450 hours skills and theory, 100 hours of supervised practice, 20 hours of personal therapy)
· A minimum of 1 year post qualification supervised clinical practice
· BACP registration (or equivalent) and actively working towards accreditation
· Experience of delivering short-term counselling
· Experience of working with people with cognitive impairment
· A flexible approach to hours and working arrangement, being able to work independently.
This role requires extensive travel across a large geographical locality to visit people at home. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role. You must live in the Liverpool area to fulfil this travel requirement. To fulfil the role, you must be a resident of the UK and have the right to work in the UK.

About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious, entrepreneurial and relationship-focused Partnerships & Engagement Manager to lead the development of new income streams from philanthropists and the wider public.
This is an exciting opportunity to build and grow a fundraising portfolio that will support One World in Schools in the UK, while also generating funding for PIN’s broader humanitarian and development programmes internationally.
The successful candidate will cultivate and steward major donors, develop compelling fundraising propositions, and identify innovative ways to engage supporters with the impact of our work. They will also play a leading role in establishing and delivering the organisation’s One World engagement strategy, leveraging film screenings, festivals, partnerships, and events to strengthen stakeholder engagement and create new fundraising opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Fundraising Strategy & Income Generation
Develop and implement a fundraising strategy focused on securing support from philanthropists, trusts, and members of the public.
Build and manage a pipeline of prospective major donors and philanthropic partners.
Create meaningful supporter journeys that deepen engagement and encourage long-term giving.
Develop compelling cases for support and fundraising materials that communicate the impact of One World in Schools and PIN’s global programmes.
Work closely with programme colleagues to translate programme outcomes into engaging donor propositions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships
Build and maintain relationships with influential stakeholders, ambassadors, supporters, and partners who can advance fundraising objectives.
Represent PIN at networking events, donor meetings, conferences, and public engagements.
Develop opportunities for strategic partnerships with organisations, institutions, and individuals aligned with One World’s mission.
One World Engagement Strategy
Lead the development and implementation of the fundraising stakeholder engagement strategy for One World engagement strategy in the UK.
Identify opportunities to use documentary film and storytelling as tools for audience engagement, awareness raising, donor cultivation, and fundraising.
Support OWIS UK Coordinator to build relationships with filmmakers, cultural institutions, schools, venues, and festival partners.
Plan and deliver film screenings, events, and related engagement activities that support fundraising and stakeholder development goals.
Communications & Collaboration
Work closely with staff from PIN UK staff as well as PIN’s international offices to develop engaging fundraising campaigns and donor communications.
Build partnerships with marketing and media channels.
Monitor fundraising performance, analyse results, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Maintain accurate donor records and ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and GDPR requirements.

Knowledge of documentary film, film festivals, cultural engagement, or arts-based fundraising.
Familiarity with CRM systems and fundraising data management.

About Woman's Trust
The charity was established in 1996 to meet the gap in specialist mental health services. Woman’s Trust is led by and for women and aims to ensure that women affected by domestic abuse can live a life free from further harm and abuse. Our approach is trauma-informed and person-centred, empowering survivors on their journey to recovery from the trauma. About the role
The Finance & Operations Officer provides high-quality finance, operational and organisational support to ensure the effective day-to-day running of Woman's Trust. Working across both Finance and Operations, the postholder will maintain accurate financial records, coordinate operational systems and provide administrative support that enables colleagues to deliver high-quality services to women affected by domestic abuse.
Hours: Part-time, 28 hours per week (0.8 FTE).
Location: Woman’s Trust premises including co-location with statutory partners and community partnership locations.Woman’s Trust operates a hybrid working model with a minimum of 50% to be on-site.
