You will be part of a high performing team to drive impact and change within the Special Olympics GB networks. You will provide both operational and strategic input and support to grow robust safeguarding policies, procedures and framework for our membership across Great Britain, those in the National Office team, and other stakeholders. On a day-to-day basis, you will help NEON’s partners develop effective content and digital comms strategy - and offer support and training in both digital skills and ways to stay safe online. You will centre anti-oppression in your work and be able to help people stay safe online, especially those from marginalised backgrounds. You’ll be across emerging trends, using platforms effectively and aware of how to make use of digital to empower our base and persuade people to our causes. You will be across what’s happening online and in the news - and be able to quickly jump on opportunities to tell a compelling alternative story.

This project is part of a wider Communications Hub in which you’ll play an active role, helping to develop the overall strategy and direction of the project. The overall aim of the Hub is to strengthen the communication skills and abilities of progressives in the UK. The Hub has five programmes, and Digital will be the sixth programme.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the strategy development and delivery of the digital comms programme
2. Set up and manage a reactive social media unit which clips and generates new content for spokespeople, working with a pool of consultants to create fresh digital content
3. Work with the rest of the Comms Hub to develop a package of support for online influencers who have the backing of social movements, including broadcast media training, messaging insights and production tools and techniques
4. Project manage a schedule of digital media trainings - including a follow-up to our flagship spokespeople training and a one-day digital strategy training for members of the wider NEON network
5. Provide digital comms support to our spokespeople and allied organisations
6. Working with a digital crisis comms support service - helping spokespeople skill up in countering misinformation and disinformation, and stepping in with tailored support for spokespeople receiving hate online
7. Give regular insight to our partners on digital trends, changes to the media landscape and shifts in the ways digital content is shaping public opinion
8. Play an active role in the wider Comms Hub, attending and feeding into key messaging and narrative development and supporting the Co-Directors with overall strategy
9. Monthly oversight and control over the Spokesperson Network finances
10. Fundraising and evaluation for the Hub’s ongoing needs

1. A track record of creating or managing innovative projects and bringing ideas to fruition, which push forward a progressive agenda.

You’ll also be someone who loves working with data - using it to understand donor behaviour, analyse performance, spot trends, and make smart, evidence-based decisions. About the Role

Our client, a well-known anti-poverty charity is looking to recruit a Director of Policy & Engagement on a maternity contract of up to 12 months. This great charity provides front-line advice, advocacy and campaigning and policy work on behalf of people in London beneath pension age, who are experiencing issues around benefit payments, disability and housing or who are at risk of homelessness. The services they provide have become even more essential during the current cost of living crisis.

The role:
As Director of Policy & Engagement, you will lead the organisation’s policy, public affairs, and campaigns function, shaping and delivering local and national influencing to drive change on social security and housing issues. You will ensure the voices of people with lived experience are central to all of the organisation’s work, embedding meaningful participation across the organisation, in governance, services, policy and campaigns.

You will also oversee strategic external communications to support the organisation’s influencing, brand and fundraising objectives and will direct all fundraising for your department including managing funder relationships, identifying opportunities and leading on bid writing and reporting.
 
This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for influencing policy and practice locally and nationally and representing the charity as a spokesperson in the media, with government ministers, MPs, and other senior stakeholders. 
 
You will manage a small multidisciplinary team of four, ensuring integrated effective delivery across the organisation. 
 
The role will cover strategic leadership, policy, public affairs & campaigns, stakeholder & media engagement, external communications, embedding participation, fundraising leadership, team leadership and cross-organisational Integration.

The person:
The successful candidate will be a strategic, politically astute leader with experience of leading policy, public affairs and campaigns at a senior level. They will have experience of integrating research campaigns, participation, external communications and fundraising to deliver impact locally and nationally. They will have excellent media stakeholder and political engagement skills, with experience of acting as a spokesperson for an organisation. This person will value and embed lived experience in all aspects of their work and will have a strong understanding of social security and housing policy. 

This person will also have substantial experience of leading on research for social policy influencing purposes in addition to having developed and shaped policy  for an organisation in a charity which works towards combatting poverty and other social justice issues. Having managed political and media engagement and external influencing activities in the past, this person will be an effective relationship manager both internally and externally, in addition to having provided knowledge based leadership to small teams in the charity sector. In addition to being a highly effective project manager, this person will be a very strong communicator both verbally and in writing, and will be fully committed to the aims and objectives of this anti-poverty charity.

The role:
This role will work within the Creative, Confident Communities Team in making a significant contribution to the delivery of the foundation’s strategy, specifically focused on place-based and community-led change across the UK. The primary aim of this role is to bring grant-making expertise and knowledge to add capacity to the team moving forward.

This is a unique opportunity to work with and support a range of organisations, initiatives and projects that are seeking to create place-based change, working with communities across the UK to achieve this. The foundation has independence, resources and influence that enable them to move at pace and make a positive difference for people and communities in the UK. They have ambition and an appetite for risk, to try new things and work with new and unusual partnerships to deliver their aims. A key question that guides the foundation’s work and action is “what more can we do?” – the foundation is looking for someone to join them and contribute to answering that question.

This will include identifying and building a pipeline of relevant activities aimed at delivering on the aims and objectives of the programme. This is a very relational role with emphasis on building and brokering collaborations, attending webinars, forums and conferences to further harness sector learning relevant to the aims of CCC. 

The role is full-time and candidates looking to work 0.8 full-time will also be considered.  At present, the foundation has a hybrid approach to working and the candidate will work from the Kings Cross office two or three days per week – these will include Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Occasional UK travel will be required, which may include an overnight stay.

The person:
The successful candidate will have substantial grant-making experience and will ideally have gained this within a community driven Funder or Grant-maker in the UK. An environment where the core objectives of the CCC programme are very apparent and the knowledge and understanding is there to bring to the table.

A deep understanding of the challenges faced by communities and places across the UK is essential and having hands-on experience of tackling these issues will be very valuable to this role. Being thoughtful, analytical and inquisitive, the role requires advance problem solving and synthesising sometimes quite complex information and delivering to a wide range of audiences in digestible and concise communication.

Collaboration is key to success in this role and evidence of having worked in close knit and very busy team in connected areas of work will be important in addition to being able to work independently and to manage your own time will be important.

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity are hiring for a permanent Legacy Executive, a critical role within our Legacy Management team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for some of our core administrative duties and a blend of legacy casework beyond just pecuniary gifts, working with the team to manage risk and maximise the value of our legacies.

The team are supportive, collaborate and work closely together to manage and honour gifts lift in Wills. It's a detail focused environment, but one where you can share knowledge, offer guidance and celebrate success together. 
 

Salary
The salary for this position is £35,023 per annum and we operate a hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

• You will manage your own varied caseload of legacy gifts, playing a key role in ensuring income is received efficiently while balancing legal responsibilities with sensitivity and care.
• You will be at the heart of legacy operations, setting up and maintaining accurate records across systems, giving you real ownership of high-quality data that informs decision-making and drives performance.
• You will build meaningful relationships with executors, families and professional contacts, using every interaction as an opportunity to show appreciation and strengthen long-term supporter connections.
• You will collaborate across teams on engaging projects such as legacy events and the Book of Remembrance, helping to celebrate supporters’ stories and bring their impact to life.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Experience managing detailed, process-driven work where accuracy and organisation are essential within legacy, legal or estate administration environments.
• A clear understanding of how Wills and probate work, and confidence applying this knowledge in a practical setting.

The Revitalise Trust exists to serve, resource and revitalise the Church in its mission to reach the unchurched, make disciples and transform society by growing vibrant, Jesus-centred, Spirit-filled churches in every community. To date, the Trust has helped plant 200 churches across the UK and beyond and train up and support hundreds of church leaders. As a charity, the Trust is entirely dependent on the generosity of donors to support its work.
This is a key role within the Revitalise Trust, that works collaboratively with others in the team and across the organisation to help raise the necessary funds to support the work of the Trust, supporting and managing a portfolio of existing donors and sourcing and securing new ones, working particularly closely with the Head of UK Fundraising.

The Role

Some of the responsibilities include:

Donor Engagement & Income Generation

• Research and identify new UK funding opportunities and develop tailored engagement strategies.
• Produce high-quality, persuasive proposals and applications to secure new income.
• Manage, steward and grow income streams from new and existing donors, including individuals, trusts and foundations.
• Deliver timely, insightful and impactful donor monitoring reports in line with supporter requirements.

Fundraising Systems & Processes

• Ensure donor records are accurate and up to date across systems such as Raiser’s Edge and SharePoint.
• Support the development of efficient, scalable fundraising processes that align with the wider Trust strategy and KPIs.
• Take responsibility for the smooth running of the Focus giving process.
• Contribute to strategic improvements across our systems, tools and templates, identifying gaps and recommending solutions.

Collaboration & Cross‑Team Working

• Work closely with the Revitalise Trust Fundraising Team, HTB Finance, HTB Giving and cross-entity colleagues to coordinate donor information and opportunities.
• Engage with the Impact Team and Systems Provider/IT to support data integrity and reporting.
• Attend relevant fundraising, giving and GDPR meetings to ensure alignment across the group.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven fundraising or income‑generation experience, with strong financial awareness and confidence in meeting personal targets and contributing to wider team KPIs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clear, persuasive briefs and build effective relationships with donors and internal stakeholders at all levels.
• Highly organised, proactive and detail‑focused, able to prioritise multiple deadlines, manage several projects simultaneously, and offer practical, solutions‑driven thinking.
• Experienced in improving organisational processes to increase efficiency, and confident working collaboratively with multi‑level stakeholders to deliver strategic aims.
• Strong technical competence, including experience with donor management systems (e.g. Raiser’s Edge or equivalent), CRM databases, MS Office and related applications.

As part of Suffolk Wildlife Trust, Wilder Ecology combines commercial ecological consultancy with a strong conservation purpose.
