The Bromley Mental Health & Wellbeing Hub (BMHWH) is a key part of the transformation of mental health services in the borough under the NHS Long Term Plan. Delivered in partnership with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, the Hub brings together primary care, secondary care and the voluntary sector to provide flexible, holistic and integrated support for adults with mental health needs.

We are seeking a Senior Mental Health Advisor to join our Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) and Tailored Wellbeing pathway. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced mental health practitioners who are passionate about high-quality, person-centred support and who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

As a Senior Mental Health Advisor, you will provide strong, supportive line management to a team of Mental Health Advisors, ensuring high-quality casework, reflective practice and staff wellbeing. Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will hold a small caseload, delivering tailored, time-limited one-to-one and group interventions to adults with mental health problems, including those with heightened need or risk.

You will work closely with Oxleas clinical colleagues to undertake holistic assessments, coordinate referrals, and ensure joined-up support that meets individual needs. You will also play a key role in service development, quality monitoring and representing the Mental Health Advisory team in key meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support a team of Mental Health Advisors
• Ensure high-quality case management, safeguarding practice and accurate record-keeping
• Deliver holistic assessments and brief, person-centred interventions to a small caseload
• Coordinate referrals and work collaboratively with Oxleas and community partners
• Monitor outcomes, contribute to service development and represent the team in key meetings
• Promote recovery, independence and access to local wellbeing opportunities

Overview

The Premier League Foundation is seeking to appoint an experienced Communications Manager to support the Head of Communications in delivering strategic, impactful communications that advance the charity’s work, ensure recognition for our funding partners, and raise awareness of the work of both the Foundation and the wider football club charity network.

The Communications Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the communications action plan. About the role

We’re seeking a PPIE Manager to lead and strengthen patient involvement across mitochondrial disease research. As an equal partner in the LifeArc Centre for Rare Mitochondrial Diseases, The Lily Foundation leads the programme’s patient and public involvement strategy.

While the initial priority for this role is delivering the PPIE strategy for the LifeArc Centre, as a permanent member of the team, you’ll be responsible for building a sustainable involvement infrastructure that extends across all Lily Foundation research workstreams.

You’ll become a ‘patient expert’ who can bridge the gap between the patient community and the scientific world. You’ll be proactive in upskilling and empowering both patients and researchers, ensuring that lived experience remains the compass for future research.

Key responsibilities

• Lead LifeArc Centre delivery: Work closely with LifeArc leadership and researchers to embed meaningful patient involvement across research activities and work packages.
• Develop the IMPACT network: Grow and support our national patient involvement network, identifying opportunities for families to contribute to research design and documentation.
• Deliver training and capacity building: Develop and deliver training, guidance and workshops to upskill patients, families and researchers in effective PPIE practices.
• Translate and communicate research: Work with our Marketing Team to provide content for the promotion of research news and medical information through social platforms and web-based materials.

We’re looking for someone who blends a professional background with a genuine heart for our cause.

Essential knowledge and skills

• Professional background: A background in science, nursing or research, with the proven ability to digest complex medical concepts and ‘translate’ them into accessible, jargon-free content.
• PPIE expertise: A deep understanding of Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement best practices and the different stages of the research cycle.
• Training and facilitation: Confidence in designing and delivering workshops or capacity-building activities for audiences ranging from families to senior researchers.
• Exceptional communication: Confidence in building relationships with families, senior academic leads and industry partners.
• Organisational drive: High levels of organisation and the ability to work independently to manage multiple priorities within a ‘small but mighty’ remote team.

Essential experience

The Hammersmith and Fulham outreach team can bring clients as a safe alternative to rough sleeping. At the Hub, clients will receive a thorough assessment of their needs and be supported with an offer of suitable accommodation to move into.

As an Assessment and Reconnection Worker, you will:

• Be part of a busy team environment working closely with those new to, or at risk of rough sleeping.
• Provide a personalised case management service to clients, turning assessment recommendations into practical action plans which fully involves the client.
• Build and maintain effective relationships to support clients throughout their recovery.
• Develop a knowledge of relevant legislation such as, welfare benefit and housing legislation.
• Work on the weekly 7-day rota including weekends and bank holidays

What is the role?

As Store Manager, you will take full responsibility for the success of our new Watchfield store. You will:

We are wanting to recruit a motivated and experienced support and recovery worker to support homeless and vulnerable guests at our daily drop-in, and in Hope House - our 4 bed supported house 

Responsibilities

Our support workers both work with guests in both Drop-in and in Hope House, but each takes a lead responsibility in one or the other of these projects. This post holder leads on the housing management responsibilities for Hope House.

Drop-in responsibilities :

· Welcome and assess first time guests, identifying priority needs.

· Signpost and support guests to access key statutory and voluntary services, especially housing, benefits, homelessness services etc

· Provide practical support and advice to guests , for example with helping with forms, bill enquiries, budgeting .

Hope House responsibilities

- Vet the suitability of potential residents and support them with their transition in/out of Hope House

· Hold weekly individual support sessions with residents

· Ensure tailored support plans (using Homeless Outcomes Star) are in place for each resident

· Identify “next step” housing options for residents and work with the residents to access these.

Oversee the safe and efficient running of Hope House, taking into account any relevant Supported Housing/ HMO specific requirements.

Music Minds Matter has developed an ambitious new impact model which aims to transform mental wellbeing amongst people working in music and this role will manage the development and delivery of support within this model and play a truly impactful role across music. 

Day to day the role will deliver a blend of: new support development- from training and groups, to online digital content- ensuring all support is developed in line with our Clinical and Quality Governance protocols, planning and coordinating support for teams and sites across music, direct delivery of some support online and in person, and relationship management of our incredible network of Allies and delivery partners. 

About you 

Lived experience of the music industry, strong programme management skills, mental health service expertise, and the ability to build meaningful stakeholder connections across music will be the essential enablers for true impact in this role. 

You will need to self-manage a diverse portfolio of opportunities — mixing programme management with industry events and meetings to foster partnership. You will need to combine an in-depth understanding of safe and high-quality mental health support with a genuine understanding of what it’s like to work in music and what can make people in music thrive; and you will need to be a compelling and confident communicator able to convey both expertise and empathy.

About the Campaigns and Public Affairs Manager role

In this varied and exciting position, you will manage high profile WI campaigns and play a key role in achieving change on key issues affecting women and their community.

The Campaigns and Public Affairs Manager provides essential management of the Public Affairs team and its activities- including campaigning, lobbying, research and policy work- whilst working closely with the Director of Campaigns and Membership to maintain a strategic overview of the department’s work.

You will be responsible for devising appropriate lobbying strategies to achieve our key objectives, responding to governmental policy and consultation papers and supporting the NFWI’s media work in relation to all campaigning and Public Affairs activity.

This role also plays a vital part in managing departmental projects, from the development and implementation of campaign project plans, to identifying funding opportunities and administering budgets.  

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week.

Location: Hybrid working, with at least one day per week at our London office.

About you

Experienced in all aspects of campaigning and lobbying, with a strong understanding of current affairs and issues across the policy spectrum, you will be adept at taking a campaign from start to finish, whilst developing impactful influencing strategies in a political context. You will be a confident line manager, with experience of supporting and overseeing your team’s performance, development and wellbeing.

The ability to represent the NFWI externally- to civil servants, government departments and external organisations- as well as working closely with volunteers and members at a grassroots level is also key.

An understanding of key policy issues relating to areas such as women’s health or the environment would also be desirable, however your passion for helping the WI achieve its mission by making a difference every day will be the key to your success in the role.

This role follows a 37 hours, over a 7 day working pattern. This is a site-based role, requiring occasional travel to meetings with partners, other attractions and to our main hubs for collaborative meetings and team activities.

Role Overview 

The purpose of the post is to manage and lead the day-to-day operations, business development and visitor experience at our Canal Museum Stoke Bruerne. The Visitor Services Manager (VSM) will lead the site team at Stoke Bruerne (colleagues and volunteers) on a day to day basis to focus on the visitor offer, striving for excellence in experience, achieving financial sustainability around income generation and charitable giving and delivering a consistently high-class visitor welcome across the board. This includes managing a range of front of house functions including food and beverage, retail, events and commercial boat trips. The Visitor Services Manager plays a central role in overseeing, coordinating and championing the experience of every visitor from site presentation, to large/small scale events and programming, making the site a must-see attraction, acclaimed internationally, nationally and loved locally.

As a key member of the Destinations and Attractions Management Team the VSM will work strategically with colleagues in other attractions and with other teams within the Trust such as, Operations, Fundraising, Collections, Marketing and Volunteering teams amongst others to promote, drive and deliver excellence in customer service and a visitor centred approach. The VSM will work collaboratively with teams and volunteers to ensure focused visitor activity which will help build our audiences and increase visitor footfall whilst building engagement for the Trust brand.

A key accountability of the role is managing and reporting on financial performance, delivering on KPI’s and leading and motivating teams to deliver income targets whilst effectively managing costs.

You will be able to demonstrate the ability to create safe working environments and understand the importance of compliance in day to day operations.
