We’re looking for a Financial Accounting Projects Lead to support us with a defined programme of finance activity, as well as additional capacity for the Financial Accounting team.

What does this role do?

As Financial Accounting Projects Lead, you’ll:

• lead the implementation of audit findings, collaborating with internal stakeholders to strengthen consistency and documentation of key processes,
• deliver change in VAT compliance and additional reporting compliance for SORP, as outlined in a recent audit,
• translate all changes into practical processes, working across the Finance team to ensure processes are robust and operational for the team,
• support the Finance team with additional accounting capacity where necessary.

This role is a fixed term contract until December 2026. Interviews are provisionally scheduled for week commencing 3rd August 2026.

Could this be you?

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be a fully qualified accountant, who has experience of reviewing audit controls and implementing change in complex environments. You’ll need some proven technical accounting experience, particularly with FRS102 and SORP. This is a project role with identified outcomes, so you’ll be comfortable working independently and at pace, ensuring deadlines are met within timelines. Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to explain technical concepts to non-finance colleagues, is essential.

Do you want to help two iconic chalk National Landscapes and a National Trail adapt in the face of climate change? We are seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead our Nature Ridge Landscape Connections project at its formative stage. Working closely with partners and a wide range of stakeholders, you will shape the programme, identify opportunities, assemble and submit a strong Development Application.

Nature Ridge Landscape Connections project (NRLC) is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) through the Landscape Connections programme. This aims to put landscapes into recovery supporting habitats and species alongside rich cultural heritage in better connected, working landscapes and to enable people to connect with nature and the environment. This early development work will align with NLHF priorities and support the North Wessex Downs and Chilterns’ Nature Recovery Plans, National Landscape Management Plans, emerging Climate Mitigation and Adaptation Plans, and County Local Nature Recovery Strategies.

This is a rewarding role for a creative, innovative person with excellent people skills, strong landscape and habitat knowledge, and proven experience guiding teams to define development needs and secure funding. This role is focused on providing strategic communications leadership to the Global Disability Innovation Hub (GDI Hub), with an emphasis on web and digital media. The Role

This position will support the Education, Workforce and HE team in its mission to build a thriving, diverse physics teaching community and will see you support the operational delivery of the Scholarships Programme, including the recruitment, assessment and selection of Scholars, and the two-year support programme.

What will I be doing?

Working with the Manager, Strategic Implementation, the focus will be on leading on the operational delivery of the IOP Teacher Training Scholarships. Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Providing support to the Manager, Strategic Implementation in relation to the Scholarships budget, including creating budget forecasts and quarterly invoices.
• Working with our internal Marketing Department to shape the marketing programme and evaluating the effectiveness of our various advertising channels – including our webinar series.
• To manage applications, including setting up and maintaining the online application form, screening ineligible candidates, obtaining references from referees, collating applications for the shortlisting process and assessment panels.
• Data management and storage, including providing data and analysis to facilitate monthly/quarterly reporting and invoicing to the DfE, ensuring candidate and Scholar data is captured, maintained and deleted according to the IOP policy guidelines, supporting the tracking of scholars through their initial training and into teaching.  Including, supervising the consultant in charge of the data capture of the status and wellbeing of Scholars.

Who will I work with?

You will be line managed by the Manager, Strategic Implementation and support the Manager, Teaching Workforce in the delivery of their projects.

• Experience of working in a project-based environment with significant internal and external stakeholder interest. Note that formal project management qualifications are not a requirement.

We are seeking a dedicated professional who is able to work two days per week in our London office. This is really important to us because this is a donor-facing role with line management responsibilities. It will also involve working with colleagues across the charity. MAP has a flexible working policy to support employees with additional needs, caring responsibilities etc. However, it will not be possible for this role to be completely remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day to day line management and professional development support for the Trusts and Foundations Officer
• Develop and lead a Trusts and Foundations programme at MAP to secure income from active and cold audiences, focusing on donors giving £50,000+ per annum. 
• Identify new channels to grow income from Trusts and Foundations outside of the charity’s existing networks.
• Lead a strategy to maximise income by seeking opportunities and pursuing these opportunities to their full potential.
• Develop and deliver tailored proposals and stewardship plans, proactively improving knowledge capture and MAP’s understanding of supporters.
• Work with MAP’s Prospect Research Manager to identify, research, and cultivate leads to build a strong pipeline of Trusts and Foundations prospects that will have a significant, positive impact on income.
• Develop and implement a range of cultivation tools.
• Monitor, review and evaluate performance against strategic and operational plans, reports and financial forecasts.

As you will have seen from the role profile, this post requires a minimum of two days per week in our London office. This is really important to us because working with colleagues across F&M team or across the org etc.

You are a confident communicator, able to translate complex programmes and contextual information into persuasive, inspiring cases for support which can be tailored to a wide range of audiences.

With previous line management experience, or a passion for developing others, you are committed to supporting and empowering colleagues to achieve their full potential.

You bring excellent written communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on achieving ambitious income targets. You are curious about developments in philanthropy and actively seek out innovative approaches and new funding opportunities, both in the UK and internationally.

About Working Well Trust

Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.

We are expanding our team of IPS Employment Advisors in our IPS service in the London Borough of Enfield. You will be based in one of NHS mental health treatment teams in Enfield Town and Edmonton areas. We have a full time (35 hours pw) and part time (17.5 hours pw) position available as we are growing our team. This IPS service at Working Well Trust has been awarded the IPS Grow quality mark and adheres to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people in to employment. This role will be working with clients who have mental health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment. 

Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to employment as an integral aspect of wellbeing and supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. We welcome applications from people with lived experience of mental health, either personally or through a close contact.

You need to have a desire to support people to achieve their employment goals, and the ability to multitask and manage your workload effectively. Good organisation skills are essential for this role, in addition to an interest in mental health, and the role it plays in the workplace. The successful candidate will need to become comfortable in approaching employers, and showcase the advantages of our service in order to work with them to recruit our clients to fill vacancies and sustain employment.

What you’ll be doing

You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. You will deliver the IPS approach (for which training will be given); providing person centred support and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment.

You will work as part of a mental health team (NHS Trust) maintaining positive and integrated relationships, fostering a holistic approach to recovery through employment. You will work closely with clinical teams, providing a coordinated approach that always remains client led.  

You will spend up to 65% of your week working in the community of Enfield to provide localised support to residents of the Borough.

You will also be working to contract targets whilst maintaining a high-quality service.

Are you an experienced Procurement Manager or Category Manager with proven procurement experience in construction, asset management or property services?

We have two fantastic opportunities for experienced procurement professionals to join our Procurement team at SNG (Sovereign Network Group) as Category Managers, supporting our Property Services and Development directorates.

Based from our offices in Basingstoke or Wembley, this is a great opportunity to combine home and office working to ensure a positive work / life balance. Occasional travel to other offices may be required, and there will be a requirement to attend our Basingstoke office once a week for team days.

The Role

As a Category Manager, you'll play a pivotal role within our team, delivering a number of strategic and priority sourcing projects, collaborating with stakeholders to develop category plans and identify opportunities, supporting occasional operational procurement requirements, and maintaining procurement compliance. You'll support one of the following business areas:

• Property Services (Asset Management and Estate Services)
• Development (Main Contractor and construction consultancy)

Main responsibilities include:

• Overseeing nominated category areas, suppliers and contracts to develop strategic procurement solutions to deliver efficiencies and benefits to the business
• Delivering an agreed portfolio of sourcing projects from end-to-end, ensuring outcomes represent value for money, meet timelines and facilitate high standards
• Maintaining compliance with the public procurement rules on individual projects and throughout the overall category portfolio
• Leading supplier engagement and sourcing activity throughout the tender process, during the contract life cycle and for the overall category

What we're looking for

You should have demonstrable experience within a similar role in procurement, ideally with knowledge of relevant category areas, such as Development / Construction, Property Services, Asset Management or Hard FM. You'll also need:

• Strategic procurement category management expertise, evidencing the use of data and analysis to drive decision making.
• Practical experience of carrying out tenders and competitions in accordance with the public sector procurement rules
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with proven ability to engage and influence others to deliver the best outcomes
• Experience in supplier relationship management, ensuring value for money deals with suppliers who are committed to delivering a high service to SNG, and managing the commercial performance of procurement contracts
• An agile approach with high attention to details and ability to work successfully on multiple projects at different stages, effectively prioritising tasks
• An understanding of the Procurement Act 2023 and PCR 2015 is relevant and beneficial to this role
• Experience of working for a registered social housing provider, local authority or similar public sector body, and/or a provider of repair, maintenance or facility management services, or a developer of new homes, would be advantageous

Axial SpA is an inflammatory condition of the spine and joints. Inflammation where muscles attach to the bones causes extreme pain, and if left untreated, it can permanently fuse bones together. It's an invisible and misdiagnosed condition, often leaving people feeling powerless, in increasing pain and extreme exhaustion. We campaign policy makers for early diagnosis and better services, work with the NHS to get axial SpA identified and diagnosed quickly, and build an active community, online and through our local branches across the UK. We are a small team, looking for a part-time Fundraising Assistant to work alongside our existing Fundraising Officer, with a focus on engaging our donors and supporters and acting as first point of contact for many of our fundraisers, alongside maintaining accurate records and administration that keeps our fundraising running smoothly. You'll support activity across our income streams as part of our internal Fundraising Board, alongside our CEO, Head of Fundraising and Fundraising Officer.
