About the role

We’re seeking a highly organised and proactive Programme Coordinator to support the delivery and growth of KQ Labs.

This is a hands-on role at the heart of our accelerator programmes. You will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the programmes, supporting curriculum delivery, events, legal and financial processes, portfolio reporting and stakeholder coordination.

About the STP Training team

The STP training team works closely with the Science Technology Platforms to design and deliver technical training for internal and external scientists, including in person, hybrid and online training. The team also support Crick technical staff to develop teaching and learning skills to ensure our training is fit for purpose and follows pedagogical best practice.

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised coordinator to support the delivery of our growing external training programme. You’ll coordinate in-person training events, support marketing and communications activity and help keep projects running smoothly. Job description

The PR and Communications Officer will support the Senior PR and Communications Officer to raise awareness of the Charity by identifying and promoting compelling stories to regional and national media. Working closely with colleagues across PR and Communications, clinical teams, Fundraising, Marketing and Digital, the role will help to showcase the Charity’s impact on people affected by cancer in the UK and globally, while supporting fundraising activity across all income streams.

The PR and Communications Officer will support the Senior PR and Communications Officer in writing content for relevant in‑house magazine titles, along with using their communications expertise, with guidance from the wider PR and Communications Team, to help promote community fundraising events, corporate partnerships, major donor events and fundraising campaigns.

Hilldrop Road is a registered care home providing long term accommodation, support and care to up to 29 men with a history of alcohol misuse, homelessness and mental health conditions, with related physical health needs. TLC: Talk, Listen, Change is a dynamic, leading relationships charity based in Greater Manchester and we are looking for a Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker (Thriving Families), to deliver tailored perpetrator interventions within a multi-disciplinary team.

The role
This role will work collaboratively within Manchester City Council’s multi-disciplinary Thriving Families Team, to support families where children are open to Child Protection or Child In Need Plans. The Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker will engage directly with adults responsible for causing harm, aiming to increase perpetrator accountability and encourage positive change. Through one-on-one tailored interventions, the goal is to reduce risk to both victims and children, while enhancing the perpetrator's willingness to alter harmful behaviours.  The Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker will work collaboratively with the Thriving Families Team and other agencies, ensuring a multi-agency, whole family approach. Additionally, the worker liaises with victim/survivor services to assess risks, formulate safety plans to secure better outcomes for those impacted by domestic abuse.

About you

You’ll be confident in delivering direct work with those who use harm. This will include completing comprehensive assessments of risk and need to deliver tailored interventions. You’ll have direct experience of working therapeutically with a client group and be confident in addressing challenging and harmful behaviour. You will have experience of safeguarding processes and multi-agency working.

Above all you will have the ability to build positive relationships with difficult to engage client groups, and you’ll bring a positive, solution focus attitude. We’d also love to hear from applicants who are fluent in speaking an additional language.

Harris Hill is working with a health based charity located in Epsom, to assist in the search for a Fundraising Officer for a brand new role.

This role will start life as a temporary position, working full time (37.5hpw), with 2-3 days a week in the office. However, the client is ultimately seeking a permanent fill for this role, so ideally we would like someone who would be interested in this transition over to work for them directly.

The Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole Rough Sleeping Service Team are looking for a committed individual to join our street outreach team tasked with reducing rough sleeping across Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole.

This role is both challenging and rewarding. It would suit an experienced worker who wants the autonomy and flexibility to find creative solutions, or someone looking for a development opportunity who is keen to learn outreach skills and work with clients at a point where their need is acute.

You will be expected to work with clients in a variety of settings. As part of the Rough Sleeping Team, you will be required to work some shifts starting at 6am and others finishing at 2am.

In this role you will:

• Conduct outreach alongside a range of partners and proactively assess those found sleeping rough to rapidly access housing, health services and treatment
• Manage a caseload of clients experiencing multiple disadvantages where there are significant barriers to accessing accommodation and services, requiring relationship building and a thoughtful approach to incremental change
• Work with a truly diverse group of clients, supporting them to make meaningful and lasting changes to their lives
• Receive an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday and for all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday

About you

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who can engage clients in a range of settings. You will be adaptable when facing communication challenges such as language barriers, cultural differences or working with people who are neuro-diverse. This includes the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and accessible way.

You will have some experience of client case management, resilience to achieve agreed outcomes and the ability to work remotely and lone work with vulnerable people.

Holding a UK driving licence would be beneficial but is not essential.

About the role

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and committed Waking Night Support Worker to join the team in Bournemouth to support clients with complex needs in one of our 24-hour supported accommodation setting.

The service provides accommodation and support to individuals with complex needs in a recovery focused way. The team works collaboratively with clients in a safe and supportive environment in developing goals, plans and strategies to better manage their mental health, substance misuse and any associated risks.

In this role you will provide overnight waking cover for the service. You will be responsible for providing first contact and safeguarding our clients at night including dealing with emergencies. Other duties include carrying out regular health and safety checks, monitoring the CCTV system and various administration tasks. There is also an element of the role which will be ensuring the environment is kept to a high standard.

Please note, this post is based in Bournemouth. You will be working onsite so should be commutable to the location of the service.

About you

To succeed, you will have an understanding of the needs and support requirements of people with complex needs. You’ll also have the ability to establish an effective working relationship with these clients, be client centred and possess an understanding of the issues that affect vulnerable clients. A good level of numeracy and literacy skills and the ability to use your own initiative are also required.

Join our dynamic and supportive team as an Outreach Worker in the Rough Sleeping Team, where you will play a pivotal role in tackling homelessness and supporting people who are experiencing rough sleeping to rebuild their lives. This is a unique opportunity to work with a forward-thinking local authority and a committed group of partners to bring about meaningful change in one of London’s most diverse and vibrant boroughs.

As an Outreach Worker in Complex Needs, you will be responsible for a caseload of clients who are residing in the Emergency Bed Spaces in London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH) along with clients in TA and some who may be rough sleeping. Ensuring delivery of a high-quality service to individuals experiencing rough sleeping. We work in a compassionate and trauma informed way, ensuring we are promoting client independence and in a client-led manner. Your skills will be vital in supporting operational effectiveness and the team to engage with people who need help most.

You will work closely with the hostel services, local authority partners, statutory and voluntary services, and key stakeholders to ensure an integrated, person-centred approach to tackling rough sleeping. LBTH prides itself in great partnership relations across the numerous stakeholders supporting our clients, that is key to Tower Hamlets’ approach.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will:

• Caseload: Caseload of clients who are allocated daily. Providing a person-centred approach to working with clients through: Support needs assessments, Risk assessments, referrals to services, and updating relevant parties on progress of client cases
• Shifts: Planning and conducting outreach shifts on early/mid/late basis on the streets of LBTH to identify and support clients who are rough sleeping. Duty shifts at least once a week supporting clients who arrive for support, manning the team inbox, responding or forwarding messages to the appropriate team members.
• Partnership working: Collaborate with local authority teams, hostels, external agencies, and community partners to provide coordinated, high-quality support to rough sleepers. Attending, organising and chairing Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) Meetings, external partner shifts
• Stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners to ensure a holistic and inclusive response to homelessness in the borough.
• Service development: Work closely with managers and stakeholders to ensure that KPI targets and service standards are me and positive outcomes for people experiencing rough sleeping.
