Job description

We invite applications for an exciting opportunity to join and support the development of a new forensic service at our office in central Birmingham and working from home until our current Covid-19 policy changes.

The Forensic Service Manager will join Respond’s Midlands team supporting the development and delivery of therapeutic trauma informed forensic services across the region. You will support Midlands Transforming Care Partnerships to enable people with learning disabilities, autism or both, with a forensic history and subject to long-stay hospitalisation under the Mental Health Act, to return to their local community.

You will undertake a range of clinical work including service development and case management, clinical supervision, reflective practice groups, consultation and training for a wide range of clinicians, professionals and care staff externally, drawing on your experience of working within forensic services.

This unique opportunity may well be the next step in your career advancement with a commitment from Respond to support and develop your skills in all areas of the role, including your knowledge of trauma and its impact of people with a learning disability, autism or both.

About us: Respond is a small national charity with offices in London and Birmingham providing specialised community support for children and adults with learning disabilities, autism or both who have experienced abuse or trauma.

To apply: Via CharityJob with a covering letter outlining how you meet the person specification criteria. Applications without a covering letter will not be considered.
