Our Mediation and Separated Parents Service will help families through conflict resolution, support separated parents and provide safe, child focussed contact.  As Service Manager, you’ll be instrumental in developing and shaping this service, alongside establishing and overseeing new child contact centre services.

This role combines service leadership with operational management, focusing on quality assurance, safeguarding and continuous improvement, and sustainable growth.

The successful candidate will be an experienced service manager within mediation, parental conflict resolution, family courts or child contact settings, including contract delivery, project management, partnership working and managing teams.

You will have knowledge of legal, quality and safeguarding frameworks and experience of managing safeguarding issues. You will be solution focussed, providing positive leadership and working as part of our dedicated, friendly management team. 

In this developing role, you’ll be able to think strategically and be comfortable being hands on.  Initially your focus will be increasing our existing mediation service and separated parents support and managing a small team of practitioners, and then setting up child contact centre services (in line with our NACCC Accreditation) and recruiting new staff and volunteers.

Flexibility in working hours to meet service needs and manage risk or safety concerns is needed and some evening hours may be required and some travelling to other offices and external meeting will be necessary.  Ideally it’s a full-time (37.5 hours per week), but we are open to 4 days or part time working arrangements for the right person. 

The post is based at the Birmingham Office, with some hybrid working available.  We offer ongoing development, 25 days leave, professional development, a pension scheme and staff wellbeing support.

About the Role
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. A UK registered charity, we work in collaboration with Palestinian communities and trusted local partners, and coordinate with key stakeholders and relevant clusters, to meet a wide range of health and social needs, from providing vital medical aid in emergencies, to supporting the development of better health services for the long term. We also uplift the voices of Palestinians, and campaign for an end to the barriers to health and dignity that come from living through occupation, displacement, discrimination and conflict.

MAP is in a period of growth and rapid development, and as such, the incoming Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for the financial strategy and management of MAP and for the leadership of operational areas to help deliver the organisation’s mission and strategic goals. The COO provides support to the CEO in areas of governance, legal and risk management and may deputise for the CEO as required.

About You
The ideal candidate will have Relevant post-graduate business degree preferred. Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior management role ideally with in-house financial management experience gained in a high-growth organisation. Experience either as an employee or board member of a non-profit organisation; must be familiar with non-profit finance and accounting regulations. Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organisational change and development within a growing organisation. Responsibilities

Strategy, vision and leadership

• Be accountable to the CEO and Board in the areas of finance, technology, risk and compliance, supply chain and logistics, and safety and security.
• Advise the CEO and SMT on all these areas as well as on legal, governance and related policy matters.
• Work closely with SMT colleagues to ensure that appropriate processes and systems are in place across the organisation, including delivery against KPIs.

About the Role

The Cybersecurity Officer will support the Cybersecurity Manager in protecting the charity’s digital assets and ensuring compliance with internal security policies and relevant international standards. This role will assist in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining cybersecurity controls across our technology environment, and is ideal for someone early in their cybersecurity career with a strong willingness to learn and contribute to meaningful humanitarian work.

About You

Candidate should have a Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience) with Up to 2 years of experience in an IT or cybersecurity role (internships or volunteer roles considered).  Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and technologies, including antivirus, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access control. Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 security stack, including Defender and Intune.  Hands-on experience with any of the following: Ubiquiti, SharePoint, Egress, or Cloudflare.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity tools and controls (e.g., 
endpoint protection, firewalls, secure email gateways, MFA, etc.).
• Monitor security alerts and reports from tools like Microsoft Defender, Bitdefender, 
WatchGuard, and Cloudflare, escalating potential incidents to the Cybersecurity 
Manager.
• Support user access management and ensure policies for identity and access control 
are followed using systems like SSO and Intune.
• Help manage and track security awareness initiatives (e.g., phishing simulations via 
SoSafe).
• Assist in vulnerability scanning and basic risk assessments across networks and 
systems.
• Contribute to incident response efforts under the guidance of the Cybersecurity 
Manager.
• Document findings, maintain logs, and support audit and compliance activities.
• Collaborate with IT and wider organisation to ensure security controls do not hinder 
mission delivery.

We are looking for someone to join the St Mungo’s Street Outreach service; our dynamic street outreach team in Oxford who provide a rapid response service to people who are sleeping rough across Oxford City. The dedicated team works proactively as part of Oxfordshire’s Homeless Alliance to support people who are sleeping rough on the street with key healthcare, benefits, and accommodation support and advice.

• Working as an Outreach Worker you will work with people to assess their needs and deliver a person centred support, as well as working in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams and agencies across the city to meet client’s individual needs.
• It’s not always an easy job, but the exciting opportunity to work with different people every day, helping individuals experiencing homelessness and the local community end the harms of rough sleeping is highly rewarding.

You will work on a weekly shift rota Monday – Friday including early shifts starting from around 6am and additional shifts from 9am-5pm office hours. Some weekends, bank holidays and late shifts may also be required to ensure we are available to support people experiencing homelessness when they need us the most.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the delivery of the South West London (SWL) Child Sexual Abuse Early Emotional Support Service for the CYP service. Working closely with the NHS and Schools you will manage a small specialist counselling team ensuring high-quality, trauma informed support for our young people who have experienced sexual violence. It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of Safeguarding legislation for children and adults, as well as child development. 
 

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and an ability to develop partnerships with schools, families, funders and other key stakeholders. You will hold a relevant professional qualification in counselling or psychotherapy and be registered with the BACP/UKCP or equivalent. You will have significant experience of working therapeutically with children and young people, ideally in the contexts of trauma or abuse. 
 

Responsible to the Clinical Lead for CYP you will also provide additional support in the management and allocation of referrals, as well as provide additional support and advice as required to the wider CYP Service.

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, we received global coverage as one of the first responders saving the lives of communities affected by Mpox – and no lives were lost amongst those we treated. We also scaled up in Lebanon supporting at displaced communities affected by the conflict. In 2024 through our experienced national and international teams we helped 3,743,021  people across 13 countries.

About you

You will have experience of working in an office administration role, including financial processing and have proven experience with databases. You will be comfortable working with and prioritising high volumes of work. In addition to your experience of completing routine, complex tasks accurately and systematically, you will be able to maintain quality and attention to detail. Confident, polite and professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team, you will have strong planning and organisational skills, with experience of maintaining office and administrative systems

Key Activities

      Donation Processing

• Responsible for the timely recording and processing of all incoming donations (including via our website, bank account, third party platforms and cheques) into the Medair UK CRM (Salesforce).
• Ensure all donors receive gift acknowledgements / thank you letters corresponding to each gift received.
• Maintain up-to-date records of donors, staff and other contacts in the Medair UK database.
• Process and record completed Gift Aid declarations and support in the regular reclaim of Gift Aid.

      Financial Administration

• Inputting of all financial data (income and expenditure) into Quick Books.
• Preparing and following up suppliers invoices for payment.
• Processing expenses claims.
• Managing the banking of income and supporter cheques.
• Support the Head of Operations to implement the month and year end reconciliation process for both Salesforce and Quick Books.

      Facilities & Office Management

• Act as first point of contact for the office and public enquiries, responding to incoming telephone calls and emails.
• Answer basic enquiries about Medair's work and distributing information to supporters and others as required.
• Manage and order office supplies, stationery and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment, administrating risk assessments, H&S and fire safety procedures.

      Information Technology

• Ensuring the maintenance of the IT system and handling minor in-house IT technical issues for staff and volunteers. 
• Liaising with the Global Support Office IT Helpdesk team to ensure the timely set up of IT for new staff and volunteers – i.e. setting up email addresses, and relevant permissions.
• Ensuring that IT permissions are current, and that these are amended as and when staff and volunteers leave.
• Assisting with continuous improvements in Medair UK’s use of IT.

​    Engagement Support

• Supporting fundraising activities with data segmentation and the production of standard and custom reports in Salesforce
• Supporting the production and automation of email newsletter and appeals via Campaign Monitor
• Setting up new Salesforce campaigns with tailored reports and dashboards to track donations.
• Producing digital surveys and web-forms as required.
• Providing support to Medair’s virtual events, including the technical administration of Zoom and pre and post event attendee administration.           

      HR Administration

• Organising and co-ordinating staff and volunteer inductions ensuring that the induction checklist is completed.
• Supporting the Head of Operations with team training and organisational learning and development opportunities.

Qualifications - DESIRABLE

• Vocational qualification in business or financial management / administration desirable

 Languages

• Excellent English (spoken and written).

The Role

What will I be doing?

• Managing a portfolio of public engagement events, including the delivery of the summer exhibition in Dublin each year and public engagement events across NI, Scotland and Wales
• Working with colleagues from across the organisation, particularly those in the Membership and National teams to support member led or member involved approaches to public engagement, with members supported and enabled to deliver appropriate activities that impactfully contribute to the IOP’s strategic goals.
• Support the development of public engagement content that demonstrates the value of physics and its applications to our lives and the full range of career and education pathways that can be accessed through doing physics
• Support the evaluation of Public Engagement Events to ensure the ongoing improvement pf our programme

About the role

We're looking for an Occupational Therapist who has experience in Complex Mental Health and Substance Misuse to join our residential service based in Croydon. You will use your skills and knowledge to support residents with mental health challenges, complex needs, and will provide specialist occupational therapy as part of their recovery. This is a great opportunity to shape your own role, alongside a team of Positive Engagement Workers, a Dual Diagnosis Worker, and Clinical Psychologist, whilst working closely with the Group Psychological Lead and other external partnerships. You will receive regular supervisions and have time with an external Occupational Therapist. 

You will:

• Deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills
• Be proactive with planning and delivering meaningful activities; this includes one to one and group sessions
• Work closely with clinical teams to meet people where they are, assess their situation, and write recommendations and signposting accordingly
• Assess their current situation through holistic assessments and put plans in place for them to overcome their personal barriers, to enable them for independent living and stability
• Provide psychologically informed interventions in a person-centred approach, flexibly to the resident needs
• Complete various assessments from function to task related to help empower enhanced community and personal engagement
• Set SMART goals in a collaborative way with residents, taking into account all information present from various team members and partner agencies.  

About you

We’re looking for a passionate, driven and qualified Occupational Therapist, registered with the HCPC who has experience working with people that have multiple complex needs. You’ll be confident applying theory to the practical working environment. We use a trauma informed, non judgmental approach, so it’s important that you can work well with others, fit into the team, and build trusting relationships. You will be able to apply your knowledge of relevant guidance and protocols to the working environment. You will have a background in a similar role, able to provide specialist support to our residents who struggle with their mental health and substance use.

What we look for:

• Ability to provide specialised occupational therapy assessment and treatment for residents/participants.
• Willingness to work in adherence to Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and Consultation Observation Tool (COT) and other practice guidelines.
• Ability to identify activity needs and wishes through various approaches such as assessments, observations, and discussions then use these to implement plans of action.
• Ability to recognise signs of deteriorating mental health, physical health, or other health implications and initiate appropriate interventions to prevent crisis or other risks.
