The Opportunity:
This is a dual-remit role combining ownership of our office environment with high quality support to our Core group. The Core group is the c.40-person team that brings together the firm’s central support services
The successful candidate will be the person who keeps our single-floor, c.60-desk open plan office running smoothly day-to-day, and who provides reliable ‘EA-type’ support to the CFOO and the heads of the Core group’s sub-teams. What you will do:
Office Management
Act as the day-to-day owner of our leased office floor, ensuring it is safe, welcoming, well-presented and fully operational at all times.

Manage relationships with our sub-lease tenants.

Support to the Core Group

Provide proportionate similar support to the senior leaders of the Core group sub-teams (Finance, IT, Legal & Compliance, Middle Office, Transformation), prioritising the activities where your involvement adds the most value.
Coordinate recurring all-Core Group meetings, working closely with the CFOO and sub-team leaders.

Help plan and run Core Group events, offsites and social activities that bring the team together.

Other Support
Working collegiately within the BSC Support Network team, providing support during busy periods and annual leave and collectively ensuring support needs across the organisation are met.

What you will bring - Qualifications & Experience:

Key Responsibilities:
The overall purpose of this role is to provide administrative and operational support across the fundraising department. You will work closely with the Head of Fundraising and Development to support donor recognition and stewardship, fundraising finance processes, and collate data for reporting against KPIs.

Donor recognition and supporter care
• Thank Challenge event and one-off donors promptly, warmly, and accurately, within agreed turnaround times, tailoring acknowledgements by gift size, channel, and giving history.

Train kitchen staff to follow up-to-date Health and Safety and hygiene policies and procedures, alongside latest EHO, Food Standards Agency and Allergen guidance.

Essential Skills & Experience:
You have interest and belief in our mission to improve kids’ health through improving food and food education in schools.
You have significant professional experience as a chef (minimum of 5 years), ideally with a background in schools, high-volume catering or institutional cooking.
You have experience training or mentoring kitchen staff, including building culinary capability and culture change.
You are confident in assessing culinary skills and advising on kitchen structure, menus and supplier choices.
You are organised, methodical and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

The Floating Support Worker will complete risk and needs assessments, develop safety and support plans, and provide ongoing support to survivors of domestic abuse whose level of risk has reduced to medium risk following specialist intervention. The postholder will hold a caseload of survivors requiring practical, emotional and advocacy support to help them increase their safety, access appropriate services, regain independence and work towards their longer-term goals.
We're looking for someone who is highly organised and self-motivated as well as being passionate about ending gender-based violence. You have a “can-do‟ approach and will show demonstrable commitment to Solace’s feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer.

This is a part-time, hybrid role at 18.75 hours per week. The postholder will work 1.5 days remotely and one day per week from the Enfield office.
The salary for this role is £29,385 - £30,671 (Unqualified) or £30,671 - £33,438 (Qualified), pro-rata for part time hours.
