About The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Delivery / Programme Operations Manager who thrives on delivering efficient and pragmatic processes, procedures and systems to support the impactful delivery of our growing suite of Financial Education and Wellbeing Workshops and Programmes. You will help us get stuff done! And deliver important functions and projects yourself.

As we grow the charity, it is ever more crucial that we break down silos and duplication between our two main delivery teams (Children & Young People and Adults). You will lead on reviewing and consolidating the two processes into one for the support functions of the programme delivery teams, initially progressing priority tasks identified for 2026 as part of our recent strategy refresh, and building a pipeline of future continuous improvement projects for 2027 and beyond.

This will be a vital new role bringing order and cohesion to the vital delivery support functions. You will own and champion key programme delivery-related functions in the charity, ensuring that they are fit for purpose and are understood and used throughout the charity. Reporting to one of the Directors, you will play a key role in bridging and where appropriate joining the two teams, whilst respecting and promoting their technical specialisms and differences.

About The Role 

We’re looking for a dynamic and relationship-driven Senior Fundraising / Corporate Partnerships Manager to lead on, develop, grow and relationship manage our portfolio of corporate partners through business development, and relationship management. You will also support the Senior Management Team with their existing corporate partners, and their relationships. The Fundraising Manager is responsible for implementing the charity’s fundraising strategy to increase our fundraised income to support all areas of our activity. Equal Education is a social enterprise working to improve outcomes and narrow the attainment gap for disadvantaged and vulnerable learners, including Children Looked After, those with SEND, and unaccompanied asylum seeking children. We have over 13 years’ experience delivering 1:1 tuition, working with hundreds of Schools and Local Authority partners across the country, reaching hundreds of pupils annually. 

As a member of the Fair Education Alliance, we believe in providing meaningful educational provision to students whose needs may not be best met within a traditional classroom environment, those who aren’t currently accessing education, or who benefit from additional 1:1 support. We work with over 200 qualified teachers to provide academic, subject specialised and individual tutoring and mentoring for children of all ages. Tutors provide pastoral care and work with pupils to increase engagement and attainment. What is the Role?
Our Partnerships Account Managers drive business growth by securing new partnerships and managing key client accounts across designated regions. With a focus on building and sustaining long-term  local council and school relationships, ourPartnerships Account Managers  works closely with clients to understand their needs, expand our service offerings, and ensure the highest levels of satisfaction. As the majority of our key client relationships are with local councils, we are looking for someone with knowledge of how they operate.

The post holder will have the opportunity to line manage junior member(s) of the team, who provide essential bid-writing and administrative support to facilitate efficient and effective client management.

This role would suit someone with proven ability to operate effectively in scaling organisations where processes are still being defined. This role suits someone who is adaptable, resilient, and confident working at pace amid change.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management

3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting

   • Monitor client engagement, satisfaction levels, and service outcomes; produce regular progress reports for management.

   • Oversee tracking and analysis of client-related statistics to ensure targets are met and clients receive impactful, value-driven service.

   • Manage and track client data and prospect pipelines using CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.

   • Report to the the Partnerships Director on accounts, Tenders, Bids, client meetings on a regular basis.

   • Be curious to explore our Salesforce system data, understanding and interpreting delivery and impact data. 

4. Line Management and Support Coordination

   • Lead, mentor, and manage junior member(s) of the team focused on bid/application writing, tender management, and client-related administration.

   • Support junior member(s) in producing and reviewing high-quality application documents and responses that align with client requirements and enhance our partnership outcomes.

   • Provide oversight to ensure that administrative tasks are completed efficiently, supporting smooth client interactions and consistent follow-through.

   • Work with other area leaders, to ensure strong delivery of services.

   • Contribute to, and foster strong internal working relationships to successfully delivery against strategy and objectives.. 

5. Bid Management and Process Improvement

   • Oversee the preparation and submission of tenders and bid applications, working closely with junior member(s) to ensure high-quality and timely submissions.

   • Continuously review and improve internal processes to optimise bid management, client onboarding, and service delivery.

   • Report on bid submission performance, review bidfeedback to continuously improve. 

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Detailed knowledge of the UK education sector. 

• Experience working in the education sector or with local authorities, particularly in roles involving SEND or children’s services.

• Proven track record in client relationship management, with experience in sales or partnership development roles.

• Strong communication skills, particularly in face-to-face and telephone interactions, with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-lasting relationships.

• Experience managing a small team, providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure high-performance standards.

• High level of empathy and commitment to supporting vulnerable and underserved communities.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet both short- and long-term deadlines effectively.

• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) for tracking client data, leads, and progress.

• Proactive, problem-solving mindset, able to address issues independently and provide client-focused solutions.

• Able to work in a high pressure environment, whilst taking initiative, we would want the postholder to ask for support when needed.

Desirable:

• Exceptional written communication skills, with proven confidence in drafting, editing, and refining persuasive content across a variety of formats.

• Experience in bid and tender writing or grant applications is advantageous, though a background in producing compelling written materials for diverse purposes is equally valued.

This role provides leadership to three Partnerships and Placements Managers (PPMs), with responsibility for sustaining and securing strong partnerships with local authorities (LAs) and children’s trusts across their region.

The postholder will have strategic ownership of sales activity against recruitment targets across several programmes, with scope for future growth and expansion of business development activity as the organisation evolves. 

Specifically, the role will have overall ownership for the achievement of partnerships targets in their area for the Approach Social Work programme, to develop and support 600+ Fellows (alumni) annually. This is directly linked to achieving Frontline’s organisational objective of having 4,000 impactful Fellows by 2025, who will create social change for children without a safe or stable home.

Working closely with Principal Practice Tutor colleagues, the role will manage and escalate partnership risk within local authorities, ensuring timely resolution and strong ongoing relationships.

The South East Gambling Harms Partnership is a consortium of regional Citizens Advice offices that include: Wokingham, Reading, West Berkshire and East Berkshire offices in Berkshire and Hart, Rushmore, Basingstoke and Tadley in North Hampshire. This is a high-profile initiative funded by the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) to tackle gambling harms through the collaboration of the South East Gambling Harms Partnership. 

The Role

Are you a data specialist who wants your work to tell a story?

Data is the heartbeat of this project. You won’t just be managing spreadsheets; you will be the person who proves our impact to Government Departments. You will track our screening targets and monitor the link between gambling and debt. You will provide the evidence needed to protect vulnerable groups and work as a member of a team to raise awareness of gambling harms across Berkshire and North Hampshire. 

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Reporting: Create impactful reports for the project Steering Committee, Lived experience Advisory panel and Trustee Board, as well as local public health teams.

• System Design: Develop and maintain user-friendly data tools to help frontline advisors record impact as "business as usual."

• Impact Analysis: Identify regional trends  to help our team adapt and target their outreach initiatives. As well as working with public health nationally and locally to provide quality data to inform 

• Compliance: Lead on GDPR and data ethics for sensitive client information.

About You

You are someone who finds the "human story" behind the numbers. You have:

• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, complex formulas, and data cleansing).

• The ability to visualise data for non-technical audiences.

• A commitment to data integrity and the ethical handling of sensitive information.

• Experience in a data-led role within the charity, health, or public sector (desirable).

We have worked in Birmingham for six years and the need and urgency for our work is greater than ever, with live grassroots campaigns across the city mobilising people to come together to save libraries, youth services and social housing. We know that a shared root cause of all of these crises is the city's economic system, and that meaningful change requires bringing people together across different perspectives and positions to build a shared understanding of how that system works and where the opportunities for change lie.

This role leads our work across Birmingham at an exciting moment. We are developing a participatory, community-centred approach to analysing the city's economy, identifying opportunities for change and coordinating alliances to act on them. This means bringing together mixed groups, including grassroots changemakers, researchers, funders and other partners, and facilitating processes that help people make sense of complex information together, find common ground and make decisions about collective priorities. The role requires someone who can hold these processes well: strong facilitation skills, communicating complex ideas accessibly, building trust across groups, sustaining momentum over time and helping diverse coalitions move from analysis to strategy to action.

The Senior Programme Manager will develop and deliver initiatives that support a growing movement for economic justice across the city, with a particular focus on building support and engagement amongst grassroots changemakers and communities experiencing economic injustice. It will manage projects and resources, conduct programme development and delivery, oversee outreach and partnerships, changemaker recruitment and contribute to fundraising, ultimately playing a key role in shaping our regional impact. This position is crucial in coordinating our work across Birmingham and driving meaningful collaboration with local and national stakeholders, in particular working collaboratively with Economic Justice Brum, a long-standing initiative working on local economic systems change.

This is also an exciting time for our place-based work more broadly. We are developing and deepening our practice across multiple regions, and the appointed candidate will join a growing programme team with real opportunity to shape our approach, contribute to our thinking about what effective place-based economic justice work looks like, and help set the strategic direction for this area of our work.

Programme Development 

• Working closely with the Co-Executive Director and Senior Programme Manager (Wales), lead the ongoing translation of People’s Economy’s strategy into a programme of work in Birmingham.

• Working closely with the Co-Executive Director lead outreach and relationship building with community and civil society partners. 

• Working closely with the Head of Community, lead the development of People’s Economy’s programme of outreach and relationship building with changemakers and grassroots groups in Birmingham.

Programme Delivery

• Working closely with the Programme Team, coordinate the delivery of People’s Economy’s programme of work in Birmingham and ensure it is well embedded, integrated and supportive in the local economic justice landscape. 

• Play a leading role in our collaborative work with Economic Justice Brum ensuring consistent coordination, support and relational working. 

• Lead on organising the logistics and resources required to effectively deliver People’s Economy’s programme of work in Birmingham. 

• Working closely with the Programme Team, coordinate the monitoring, evaluation and learning of People’s Economy’s programme of work in Birmingham. 

• Working closely with the Programme Team, recruit and onboard changemakers to opportunities within People’s Economy’s training and support programmes. 

• With support from the Head of Training, act as lead trainer and facilitator for these programmes. 

• Facilitate spaces and workshops for our changemakers, partners and other stakeholders. 

• Maintain relationships with changemakers while they are involved in People’s Economy’s programmes and act as a key point of contact.

Supporting other work strands

• Feed into the development and implementation of other work strands, you are expected to be willing to travel regularly to support our place-based work in at least one other region (Hartlepool, London).

• Work closely with the Senior Programme Manager (Wales) to explore how our different regional programmes intersect and can strengthen through collaboration and connected working. 

Managing projects and people

• Work with the Head of People and Operations to recruit and oversee freelancers for your programme areas. 

• Line manage freelancers contributing to People’s Economy’s programme of work in Birmingham, and any staff roles which (in future) report to this role. 

• Manage (or contribute to) non-programme projects that contribute to achieving People’s Economy’s goals, as agreed with the Co-Executive Directors.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a joined-up approach across People’s Economy’s work.

Financial management and income generation

• With support from the Co-Executive Directors and Head of People & Operations, develop and manage budgets for your programmes of work.

• With support from the Co-Executive Directors contribute to income generation by leading the development of agreed identified opportunities, including by holding key relationships with existing and potential funders.

• This post will be based at our Martin Mere Wetland Centre but will require frequent travel to schools within a one-hour travel distance. Your travel costs for visits to schools will be reimbursed.

Do you have experience working in clinical research, science or health sectors with the ability to lead a team and influence stakeholders? Would you like to help end the devastation caused by dementia by increasing opportunities for people to become aware of, and participate in research?

About the role
We are recruiting for a Research Participation Manager to join on a full-time, permanent contract working 35 hours per week. This is a home-based role, with occasional travel required for in-person stakeholder or team meetings.

As Research Participation Manager you will lead the operational delivery and support the strategic development of the Society’s research participation team. You will line manage and develop the Research Participation team and associated staff, overseeing programme performance and reporting, and ensuring all activity aligns with UK clinical research regulations, data governance requirements, and organisational priorities.

In this role, you will work collaboratively across the Society and with external partners. You will strengthen cross sector relationships, drive inclusive and culturally competent engagement, and enhance awareness of, and participation in, vital dementia research, particularly among underserved communities. Your role will also help to ensure the provision of high quality, safe, and compliant support for people accessing dementia clinical research opportunities.

You will provide leadership, expert guidance and robust programme management to maximise the reach, impact, and visibility of the Society’s research participation initiatives, increasing opportunities for people to become aware of, and participate in research; bringing forward the day when a dementia diagnosis no longer devastates lives.

About you
Joining us, you’ll have experience of working in clinical research, science or health sectors, with a good understanding of the processes and challenges facing the NHS. You’ll have experience of shaping and/or leading significant programmes of work with high exposure, with the ability to remain organised, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.

Crucially, you’ll have good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence others and build and maintain positive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. - Leading, line managing and developing the Research Participation team, in addition to managing allocated staff, resources and any assigned budget to ensure all agreed internal and external targets are met.
- Assessing and managing of interdependencies between internal and external stakeholders involved in the Research Participation programme.
- Ensuring all participation support plans and / or awareness raising initiatives comply with the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) rules and codes of practice.
