This role supports the finance function by leading the preparation and integrity of management accounts across the National Centre for Circus Arts group. Working closely with the Head of Finance, the Management Accountant ensures that financial processes, controls and reporting are robust, accurate and delivered to a high standard.

The role prepares monthly management accounts, supports budgeting and forecasting processes, and provides financial analysis and reporting to budget holders. It serves as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, helping non-finance colleagues understand financial information and improve decision-making.

The post holder oversees core transactional processes including purchase and sales invoicing, reconciliations and payment runs, ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies.

This is a hands-on role in a busy, collaborative environment, requiring strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

By participating in the scheme Approved Provider units affirm their dedication to excellent care, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement. The accreditation of units is then published for families, individuals and professionals to help inform their choices when identifying suitable provision for brain injury survivors. Our accreditation process is designed to be collaborative and supportive, guiding units through every step towards achieving and maintaining exemplary service standards.

The role will involve, conducting and writing assessments and working with the Approved Provider and Training Manager to manage Lead Assessors, who are based around the UK and the Service User Perspective Assessors, who are either brain injury survivors, or family members/ carers.

What you will do:

• Conduct Approved Provider assessments, which includes going into brain injury residential units and assessing the services they provide and making recommendations, to improve practice against the framework.
• Writing and reviewing reports for Approved Provider units, following assessments, that clearly highlight strengths and areas for development.
• Contributing to the development and growth of Headway UK’s Approved Provider scheme, by continuing to drive forward standards and onboarding new units.
• Working with freelance Lead Assessors and Service User Perspective Assessors (who are brain injury survivors or family members) who are based around the UK, to organise assessments and ensure the schemes standards are upheld.

About you

• Prior experience of working in the field of acquired brain injury.
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g. occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, clinical psychology, physiotherapy, nursing, social work).

• Very good IT skills, including be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams).
• Ability to gain the trust, confidence, and respect at all levels within external organisations and staff groups.
• Be an excellent communicator, with new and existing Approved Provider units.

The HR Operations Manager is responsible for delivering high quality, consistent, and compliant HR operations across the employee lifecycle with equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) embedded throughout processes and decision-making. What We’re Looking For

• Experience in HR Operations / People Operations roles, ideally in global, multi-country, and scaling environments
• Strong understanding of HR systems, data, and operational processes
• Experience overseeing multi-country, vendor-led payroll
• Experience managing third-party vendors (e.g., payroll, EOR, benefits, HRIS), including service governance and issue resolution
• Solid UK payroll experience, including monthly submissions, end-of-tax-year cycles, and compliance

Working across our visitor attraction, the Duty Manager will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation at Anderton Boat Lift, alongside leading and motivating a team to deliver outstanding customer service. The team will support this through engaging activity participation, the sale of goods and services, and the upkeep of a high‑quality environment for all visitors.

The Duty Manager will champion the Trust’s values, both personally and through your team, helping to create an exceptional visitor experience. In this role, you will actively contribute to increasing revenue, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring our sites remain welcoming and enjoyable places to visit.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team or teams of staff/ volunteers delivering a safe environment and excellent customer service; for example in maintenance, retail, catering or operation of trip boats/ other.
• Adoption of required emergency, safety, operational, financial, other processes appropriate to tasks. Plan and implement safe working procedures - creation of risk assessments and method statements, in line with the Trust’s Health and Safety Policy and standards.

About you

You’re an experienced and confident team leader who can motivate staff and volunteers to deliver a safe, welcoming and high‑quality visitor experience. You understand operational and safety procedures and can produce risk assessments and method statements when needed.

You handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally, and you’re comfortable delivering services and projects to agreed targets and budgets. You maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety, identifying and coordinating maintenance needs promptly.

You support, coach and develop your team, using performance measures and customer feedback to drive improvement. You also enjoy working with volunteers, ensuring they feel valued, supported and engaged.

Skills & Qualifications 

• HND or Degree in relevant discipline or proven experience in a similar role

The College oversees the training of pathologists and scientists working in 17 different specialties, which include cellular pathology, haematology, clinical biochemistry and medical microbiology.

Although some pathologists work in laboratories, many work directly with patients in hospitals and the community. Together, they are involved in the majority of all diagnoses and play an important role in disease prevention, treatment, and monitoring. If you have ever had a blood test, cervical smear or tissue biopsy, a pathologist will have been involved in your care.

The Director of Major Gifts is a frontline fundraiser responsible for driving philanthropic growth by managing a portfolio of high-impact donors. This role focuses on identifying, cultivating, and stewarding prospects capable of leadership annual, major, and planned gifts. As a key collaborator within the development team, the Director of Major Gifts aligns donor passions with institutional strategic initiatives to foster a vibrant culture of giving.

Summary of duties and responsibilities:

• Manage a targeted portfolio of 75-100 major gift prospects, developing bespoke "moves management" plans to transition prospects into committed donors

• Implement individualized strategies that align a prospect’s philanthropic goals with institutional needs, utilizing data and research to inform appropriate ask amounts

• Collaborate with the Director of Development and Giving Manager to draft compelling gift proposals, case statements, and donor-facing materials

• Partner with the Director of Development Services to execute creative cultivation plans and ensure all activities, meetings, and outcomes are documented in the CRM for team-wide transparency

• Support high-priority campaigns, special initiatives, and fundraising events. Attend school and Advancement-hosted events to build community presence

• Work alongside Development colleagues and volunteers to deliver high-touch stewardship and impactful gift reporting

Essential qualifications/experience:

• Substantive progressive frontline fundraising experience with a proven track record of securing six- and seven-figure gifts

• Building and developing effective relationships

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, highly organized and a problem-solver, positive and friendly, strong people management and interpersonal skills

• High emotional intelligence, attentive listening, and the ability to build credibility with major prospect stakeholders

• Willingness to travel internationally and attend events outside of School hours and on weekends

• A steadfast commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

• To support the community work of Adoption UK Scotland community support services, to plan and deliver community events, provide professionals, parents/carers, children, and young people access to information, resources, and services and to engage with families in their local communities. 

• To offer a front-line service, primarily to adoptive and kinship families, and care experienced individuals and young people, by supporting delivery and administration for activities and events, including regular support groups delivery, youth and teens/young adults, and family events. Support of events across Scotland based on resources and availability.

• Support planning, organisation of, and attendance at, in person and online events through funded projects and services to bring together adopted and care-experienced individuals and young people and adoptive and kinship families, enable peer support, build a sense of community and promote an active and supportive Community Network. 

• To respond to enquiries received via the Information and Support Service and relevant email inboxes with relevant information and/or signposting.

• To be part of the wider communities within Adoption UK Scotland, working across teams and services. 

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across all services areas of Adoption UK 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working alongside service leads within the communities team, and with the wider Adoption UK Scotland team members to plan and deliver specific events and activities for adoptive and kinship community members, and care experienced children and young people via our E Project youth service for children, teens and young adults.

• Provide administrative coordination for community event provision, including collating event materials, gathering feedback and evaluations for reporting purposes, supporting delivery of events, maintaining records using existing required systems, and responding to enquiries via our Information and Support line and relevant email inboxes.

• Working alongside Communications colleagues and across teams to ensure promotion of events to relevant target groups 

• Attending events to promote the wider work of AUK Scotland at conferences or support groups

• To hold responsibility for administrative requirements relating to community events, including setting up booking pages, sharing information via newsletters and social media, and recording service delivery interactions, using existing Adoption UK systems and processes

• To work with colleagues in the Foundations for Families kinship support service to support delivery and coordinate activities between services where appropriate.

• To report to line manager and directors in Adoption UK Scotland relating to service delivery, including contributing to monitoring and reporting on activities. 

• To work alongside Adoption UK colleagues to develop and improve resources and services for our communities.

Your work will ensure that every event is safe, well organised and provides an exceptional experience for participants and supporters.
