Save the Children UK has an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and influential individual with extensive storytelling and multimedia content production experience to join us as our Senior Stories Producer (10-month fixed term contract / secondment), where you will work within our dynamic Creative Content Team to find and produce powerful stories that inspire the UK public to act for children.

About the role

As Senior Stories Producer, you will be responsible for finding, developing and producing authentic, compelling stories that demonstrate our impact for children in the UK and around the world. Leading end-to-end content gathering projects, you will ensure stories are captured ethically, responsibly and in line with safeguarding and brand standards, helping to position Save the Children as a distinctive, modern children's cause.

This is a 10-month maternity cover offered as a fixed term contract or secondment opportunity.

In this role, you will:

• Lead content gathering shoots from planning to delivery — including forecasting, research, scouting and production — translating organisational objectives into clear story and content briefs.
• Manage and oversee the content pipeline and annual shoot calendar, making strategic decisions on priorities and responding to reactive or fast-turnaround needs.
• Travel within the UK and internationally to lead shoots, managing freelance photographers, videographers, translators and relationships with Country Office and partner teams.
• Ensure robust consent, safeguarding and duty of care processes for child and adult contributors, stewarding contributors appropriately and managing re-consent where required.
• Collaborate across Strategic Communications and Public, UK and Global Impact teams to align storytelling with brand, campaign and organisational priorities.
• Champion ethical and participatory storytelling practices, contributing to guidance, training and continuous improvement across the organisation.

About you

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• A strong track record of story research and demonstrable knowledge of what makes compelling, audience-focused content.
• Significant experience producing multimedia content, with strong interviewing skills and a good understanding of brand-aligned storytelling and narrative development.
• Proven experience working on a wide range of complex briefs from multiple stakeholders, balancing priorities effectively.
• Experience working alongside creative teams and/or film and photography producers, managing the delivery of high-quality content.
• Excellent writing, editing and proof-reading skills, with strong attention to detail, and experience transcribing and shaping interviews into powerful stories.
• A strong understanding of ethical storytelling, safeguarding and working sensitively with children and vulnerable communities.

Location & Ways of Working:

What you’ll do

Joining our small, high-energy team, you’ll play a key role growing our newest partner base and supporting primary school partners to make the most of the Unifrog platform and resources. Excellent customer service is at the heart of what we do, and you’ll make sure that all interactions with Unifrog are positive and successful. 

Your key responsibilities:

Sell Unifrog subscriptions to primary schools

• Design and deliver impactful prospecting campaigns and marketing collateral aimed at engaging potential new partners, tracking campaign performance and continually improving your approach to secure demonstrations and drive partnership growth.

• Meet with potential partners on video calls (and sometimes in-person). Understand their priorities, demonstrate the Unifrog platform and resources, and secure their subscription.

• Identify and attend conferences and events to promote Unifrog to primary school audiences, while networking and cultivating relationships for future partnership opportunities.

• Develop a sound awareness of Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) and the PSHE Association Framework within the UK. You’ll need this to confidently navigate conversations with relevant contacts at primary schools.

Support primary school partners to make the most of Unifrog

• Set up new partner schools for success. Help them to embed Unifrog across their staff, student and parent community. You’ll deliver an initial staff training session then provide ad-hoc support.

• Proactively work to foster a sense of community amongst our primary school partners and think of ways to promote the sharing and embedding of Unifrog best practice between partners.

• Achieve sky-high resubscription rates by securing partner renewals when their subscriptions come to an end.

Role Overview

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and delivering the day-to-day operations of the Schools Consent Project across England and Wales. In particular, this involves booking and coordinating the delivery of workshops across all educational settings; acting as the first point of contact for legal queries, feedback and safeguarding issues from volunteers and service users; and fostering strong relationships with our schools and partner firms.

Role Summary

The Outreach Manager is responsible for driving the expansion of the Schools Consent Project’s reach, engagement, and impact across London and the South East. Acting as the organisation’s lead “sales” and business development professional, you will contribute to and manage our strong pipeline of partner schools and organisations, convert leads into confirmed bookings, and maximise long-term engagement.

Salford CVS is recruiting a Volunteering Development Worker (Women and Girls in Football) to lead our work in increasing the participation of women and girls in off-pitch volunteering roles across grassroots football in Salford. This new role has been created in alignment with The FA’s priorities to strengthen inclusive volunteer pathways and ensure club and league environments are welcoming, supportive and accessible for female volunteers.

The main purpose of the post is to increase the number of female volunteers in off-pitch roles across grassroots football in Salford by supporting clubs, leagues, sessional football providers and community groups to create, promote and sustain inclusive volunteer opportunities. The role will coordinate learning and development for volunteers, help organisations understand their volunteer needs, and strengthen their capacity to recruit, retain and recognise women and girls in volunteering.

You will use Salford CVS’s established volunteering expertise to support England Accredited clubs, leagues and sessional football providers to attract, recruit and retain more female volunteers. This includes addressing known barriers such as lack of visible role models, sex-based discrimination, childcare demands that fall disproportionately on women, limited flexibility and traditional recruitment practices that may favour men.

Working in connection with our Volunteer Centre and wider Active Communities teams, you will join a service that already supports hundreds of organisations to develop safe and high-quality volunteering opportunities, matches hundreds of residents to roles, and delivers a wide range of volunteering training and good-practice guidance. You will also work closely with local partners, including Salford Community Leisure, GM Moving, Manchester FA and VCSE partners to ensure a coordinated and impactful approach.

The role will involve building strong relationships with clubs and leagues, engaging women and girls through targeted outreach in multiple settings (for example, community events, education environments, VCSE spaces, etc.), supporting grassroots clubs to understand their volunteer needs and barriers, and developing sustainable volunteer plans that help address these. You will deliver both FA and Salford CVS-designed training, increasing access to high-quality learning and development across the grassroots football ecosystem.

EVAW’s communications officer will help inform the public and media stakeholders about violence against women and girls (VAWG), influence narratives about this abuse and inspire change.
