We’re Molly Rose Foundation, founded following the death of 14-year-old Molly Russell. At Molly’s inquest, a coroner ruled harmful online content contributed to her death. In her name, we’ve now got big plans to create change and save young lives.

We’re looking for a Head of Operations who can ensure we grow effectively and focus our energies on helping young people live long and stay strong. You’ll lead and develop our finance, governance, HR, and IT operations, ensuring we can deliver with impact and grow and scale smoothly.

You’ll play a leading role in shaping and delivering our organisational strategy, monitoring our progress and budgets, and leading the process to design and develop our next Strategy to 2030. You’ll be adept at designing effective and robust policies and committed to developing a high functioning, high-impact organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor developments in education, skills and related policy areas, identifying what they mean for young people and Young Enterprise’s work.
• Support the development of Young Enterprise’s policy positions through research, analysis and evidence gathering.
• Help plan and deliver public affairs and stakeholder engagement activities, including events, parliamentary briefings and meetings.
• Contribute to campaigns that aim to influence policy and raise the profile of issues affecting young people.
• Draft high-quality written outputs such as consultation responses, meeting notes, articles and social media content.
• Support policy networks and relationships, including Secretariat support for the APPG for Financial Education for Young People.
• Work closely with colleagues across programmes, research, communications and fundraising to align policy priorities and messaging.
• Coordinate the practical organisation of policy events, meetings and stakeholder communications. 

A few practical things

• This is a hybrid role, with a minimum requirement to work from our London office in Brunswick Square at least 8 days per month.
• The role involves regular travel to Westminster for meetings and events, and occasional travel to other parts of the UK.
• Occasional evening and weekend work will be required for events, with time off in lieu provided.
• There are no specific physical or manual handling requirements associated with this role.

Our Seeking Sanctuary project is a Wales-based initiative delivering innovative housing solutions and community-led support for people seeking sanctuary. We combine community hosting, tenancy-based housing, and advocacy to help build a Nation of Sanctuary. 

About the role 

Reporting directly to the Sanctuary Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of our accommodation pathways, ensuring the best possible outcomes for destitute migrants and newly granted refugees. 

This is a dynamic, frontline casework role that spans three core areas of our housing provision: 

• The Hosting Project: Supporting people seeking sanctuary who have no recourse to public funds by giving them a welcoming, safe place to stay in the home of one of our volunteer hosts. 

• Refugee Lodgings: Helping to provide a safe and supported housing option for newly granted refugees at risk of homelessness by matching them with people who have a spare room. 

• Transitional Housing: Providing vital tenancy sustainment support for newly granted refugees transitioning into our shared accommodation properties. 

About you 

We are seeking a dedicated, highly organised, and empathetic professional with proven experience working directly with people experiencing homelessness, particularly asylum seekers and forced migrants. 

You will have a strong working knowledge of the housing system, the UK welfare system (including Universal Credit and Housing Benefit), and how to support people to access their entitlements. Because this role requires managing complex casework and navigating cultural nuances, you must possess strong interpersonal skills, particularly when working with vulnerable people or those with English as a second language.

The Kirkwood provide specialist adult care for anyone affected by a life limiting illness across Kirklees. Their care begins at diagnosis, within their In-Patient Unit and Support & Therapy Centre in Huddersfield, or in patients’ own homes. The Role

This brand-new role is vital in raising awareness of the profound impact legacy and in-memory donations have on people affected by life-limiting or terminal illness.

Reporting directly to the Head of Fundraising and Development you will manage two key events, Light up a Life in December and the Sunflower Walk in August. As a champion for in-memory giving and gifts in wills, key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and delivering strategies to grow income from gifts in wills and in-memory giving
• Building meaningful, compassionate long-term relationships
• Delivering exceptional supporter engagement and stewardship
• Securing vital income through sensitive communication and inspiring campaigns
• Raising awareness of in-memory giving opportunities internally and externally.

The Person

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser, ideally with knowledge of legacy and/or in-memory giving. An understanding of the emotional nature of in-memory and legacy is essential. It would also be beneficial to have experience working with a hospice, or healthcare environment within the charity sector.

You should have:

• The ability to work collaboratively, building strong internal and external relationships.
• A flair for handling conversations in a sensitive, compassionate and professional manner.
• Experience in developing engaging campaigns and supporter journeys.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Knowledge of legal processes relating to wills, probate and legacy administration is also desirable.

Supporter Helpdesk Officer

Salary: Grade 1.2 - £26,227.50 per annum pro rata + excellent benefits including 30 days holiday and flexible working

Location: Sheffield- hybrid

Part time: 14 hours working Wednesday and Friday from 8.45 am to 4:30pm. Please note this working pattern is not negotiable owing to the needs of the service

Do you have experience of working in customer service and a strong interest in housing issues? Then join Shelter as a Supporter Helpdesk Officer and you could soon be playing a key role in standing up to the housing emergency.

About the role 

You will be the first point of contact for the organisation, supporters, potential supporters and people seeking information about Shelter’s work. You will provide information on our work and housing/homelessness to supporters and members of the public, act on supporter requests and take part in fundraising administration.  Maintaining accurate supporter records, liaising with other departments when necessary and handle any complaints about services and fundraising activity will also be key parts of the role.

About you 

With excellent communication and administration skills, gained working in a customer service environment, including handling complaints, you will have experience of reviewing, updating and relaying information from various databases. Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, email and the internet and a strong attention to detail and accuracy are also required. An understanding of how the Helpdesk service impacts on the Shelter brand will also be important as well as having resilience dealing with enquiries that may be difficult in nature.

About the role
We are recruiting for a Strategic Content Lead to join on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week on a permanent contract. This is a home-based role, with occasional travel required for in-person team meetings and events.

As Strategic Content Lead, you will champion our strategic, organisation-wide approach to content. You’ll develop and lead a clear content strategy that aligns with our overall vision and content principles, ensuring everything we create is consistent, accessible and focused on delivering impact for our audiences.

You’ll continue to evolve how we deliver content, embedding modern content design practices, accessibility standards and new tools and technologies across digital, print and wider media channels. You’ll take a holistic view of content across the Society, driving a channel-neutral approach that brings together subject matter experts, marketing and communications teams, and channel owners.

In this role, you’ll also work collaboratively across teams to make sure content is well-governed, planned, created and used in the most effective way; reducing duplication, improving quality and ensuring it aligns to organisational priorities.

You’ll use insight, data and user research to develop a deep understanding of our audiences, from people affected by dementia to supporters, partners and volunteers. This will help you to continuously improve our content ensuring it is effective, easy to access and meets the needs of those we serve.

Interviews for this role have been provisionally scheduled to take place via MS Teams on Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th May.

About you
Joining us, you’ll have proven experience leading content strategy across a broad range of channels (e.g. web, social, email, print, media and broadcast). In addition to this, you’ll have a good understanding of how different channels work together within a joined-up content ecosystem.

Crucially, you’ll be able to use audience insight and user research to shape content, with experience setting and upholding content standards, including tone of voice and editorial guidelines. You’ll also be forward-thinking with an awareness of emerging content practices and technologies (e.g. AI, automation, modular content).

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be able to communicate effectively with others. This includes utilising your experience of managing, mentoring and developing high performing teams, your ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders and your experience of working in collaboration with other teams.

- Leading and evolving the organisation-wide content strategy aligned to priorities across support, fundraising, campaigns and awareness.

About the role-

As an Independent Victim Advocate you will:

• deliver excellent services to adult victims of crime through the direct provision of information, practical and emotional help from the point of crime and where appropriate, onwards throughout the criminal justice process.
• help people cope and recover from the effects of crime.
• act as a single point of contact, undertaking effective need and risk assessments.
• coordinate the overall delivery of the cope and recovery plan and recovery journey, working closely with other service providers to meet the needs of victims.

You will need:

• Previous experience delivering a service and working directly with service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting
• Previous experience of working with vulnerable adults and/or families
• To be able to work without direct supervision, prioritising work and managing competing demands
