Camden Disability Action (CDA) is seeking an exceptional Chief Operating Officer (COO) to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our mission as a leading user-led charity for Disabled people.

As COO, you will provide strategic leadership and operational excellence across the organisation, ensuring CDA delivers high-quality, accessible, and impactful services. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Trustees to support organisational strategy, governance, and long-term sustainability. You will have responsibility for core operational functions, including HR, Finance, Health & Safety, Data Protection, and Communications, as well as oversight of service delivery and contract management across CDA’s portfolio. You will ensure our infrastructure and processes are robust, compliant, efficient, and aligned to our values.

The successful candidate will be a confident and experienced leader, able to balance strategic thinking with strong operational delivery. You will also act as deputy to the CEO when required, providing trusted leadership across the organisation.

Due to the nature of the Chief Operating Officer role and the space-based approach of the Greenwood Centre, it cannot be delivered remotely. The post requires regular in-person operational delivery. However, we are open to offering one day of remote working per week, where practical.

Job Title: Deputy Service Manager

Location: Based within a non-residential service in Wembley, working within communities, homes, and other residentials. This service does have step free access however we are unable to guarantee this at some of the other locations where the role is based such as homes and community based locations.

Salary: £31,700

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rota working 09:00 - 17:00, hours may be extended 08:00 - 18:00. You may also be required to work outside these hours as per service/participant requirements. You will also take part in our out of hours on call rota for managers.

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for a Deputy Service Manager to join our team based in Wembley. You will support the Service Manager to ensure high quality service delivery, being a key contact for staff, helping them feel supported, skilled, and empowered within their roles. In this role you will be based within a service which is at the heart of delivering person-centred support to vulnerable adults who have been, or are at risk of homelessness. This is a floating support service based in the heart of Wembley, near the Civic Centre. With a team who are dedicated to supporting our participants within their homes, communities, and in outreach based support.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Line Management and Leadership, supporting your team providing advice, guidance and support throughout their employment lifecycle

DFN Project SEARCH is looking for an experienced charity finance professional to take on the newly-created Head of Finance role. As a well-established and successful UK charity, we are operating in a period of continued growth and require a Head of Finance who combines reliable financial insight, robust control and strong governance with hands-on delivery. This role will work closely with the Finance Director and wider executive team while remaining directly involved in month-end, reporting, controls, cash flow and systems improvement. This role has a requirement to travel to London an average of twice monthly as well as other UK travel to support away days and programme visits.

Key responsibilities include:

•     End-to-end ownership of the finance function, ensuring accurate, efficient and compliant day-to-day operations.
•     Working closely with the Finance Director to deliver management reporting, annual budgeting, statutory accounts and audit support.

Essential criteria

The successful candidate should be a fully qualified accountant who is comfortable leading and doing in a small charity environment. They should be technically strong, confident with hands-on financial operations, and able to work credibly with the Finance Director, executive colleagues, trustees, external advisors and non-finance budget holders.

•     Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent).
•     Proven experience in a finance management role with end-to-end responsibility for a finance function.
•     Strong working knowledge of Charity SORP and charity accounting requirements.
•     Experience preparing management accounts, statutory accounts and board-level financial reports.
•     Strong cash flow management, balance sheet reconciliation and month-end close capability.
•     Experience of restricted funds management, grant reporting and supporting budgets for funding applications or tenders.
•     Confident using accounting systems, ideally Xero, and advanced Excel.
•     Ability to explain financial information clearly to non-specialist audiences and partner effectively with budget holders.

As part of our shift to embed our advocacy services in the communities we serve, Lamp are recruiting an Advice and Outreach Officer to play a key role in the provision of our Community Mental Health Advocacy service.

A brand new role for the organisation the successful postholder will be responsible for providing our drop-in sessions and advocacy skills workshops across a variety of community spaces around Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

About the role

Reporting in to the Individual Giving Lead, the Senior Individual Giving Acquisition Officer will drive the strategy and execution of Christian Aid’s individual giving acquisition efforts, ensuring high impact campaigns like Christian Aid Week, Christmas and Emergency Appeals effectively attract new supporters. The Artist/Producer is responsible for the planning, preparation and delivery of Modern Art Oxford’s early years projects including our co-learning, sensory play project Make Play, holiday workshops and welcome tours and activities for primary schools, charities, and community groups.

Modern Art Oxford’s early years programme recognises and celebrates children, as active participants in our shared society. Established in 2017, Make Play is one of the core strands of our programmes for children aged 6 months to 5 years. The Artist/Producer takes a lead role in developing activities in response to the temporary exhibitions programme, working closely with the Curator Communities, Practice & Participation to ensure a holistic and well-curated offer throughout the year.

Modern Art Oxford’s early years programme engages more than 1,000 children, parents, and carers each year through our regular sessions at the gallery and offsite with local partners.

Key responsibilities

• Workshop and Programme Delivery

The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience of working in Early Years education, strong understanding of Early Years pedagogy, child-centred and inclusive practice, experience working with artists, facilitators, or creative practitioners and experience of delivering projects and workshops in art galleries and museums with demonstrable experience of working with diverse materials and media.

They will have confidence managing multiple projects, partnerships, and delivery locations, be self-motivated and collaborative with excellent communication and relationship building skills, good IT, administrative and organisational skills.

The ability to work weekends, knowledge of equality, diversity, and inclusion practices and procedures and a DBS check and training in safeguarding are also required. First Aid training is desirable.
