Job Summary

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the charity’s day-to-day administration. This part-time role provides essential support to the Board of Trustees, CEO, Policy Team, and staff across various administrative and operational functions. You will work the equivalent of three days a week and can be flexible about the distribution of your hours.

Key Responsibilities

• All administrative support for Board of Trustees, including minute taking.
• Administrative support to the CEO, Policy Team, and wider staff team.
• Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics for internal and external appointments.
• Maintain and support effective use of the organisation’s CRM system.
• Provide compliance administration for across the organisation.

Stepping Stones North Wales is a specialist charity providing free trauma-informed counselling and therapeutic support services to adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse across the six counties of North Wales. Purpose of the Role

The Volunteer and Stakeholder Engagement Officer will play a key role in strengthening Stepping Stones North Wales’ capacity, reach and financial sustainability by recruiting, supporting and retaining volunteers, and by building positive, effective relationships with key stakeholders across North Wales. This role will help raise awareness of our services, support partnership working, and ensure volunteers feel valued, supported and aligned with our trauma-informed ethos.

Key Responsibilities

Volunteer Engagement

• Develop and implement a volunteer recruitment strategy aligned with organisational needs and values.
• Recruit, onboard and induct volunteers, ensuring safer recruitment practices are followed.
• Act as the main point of contact for volunteers, providing ongoing support, supervision and guidance.
• Coordinate volunteer training, including safeguarding, boundaries and trauma-informed practice.
• Ensure volunteers feel valued and recognised for their contribution.
• Maintain accurate volunteer records in line with GDPR requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement

The Youth Employability Service

CXK delivers the Youth Employability Service (YES) across East Sussex, commissioned by East Sussex County Council. We offer information, advice, support and guidance to young people in academic years 12 and 13 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), helping them to explore their options, plan and then take their next steps. We also work with schools supporting young people in year 11 who are at risk of becoming NEET. Liaising with a range of other services, YES is focussed on supporting young people to achieve their potential.

The Team

The YES team support young people from across the county, seeing them at CXK bases, partner venues or in community settings. The team assess and action plan with young people referred to the service, supporting them to understand their options and take steps toward achieving their goals around education, training and/ or employment. Working with a wide range of young people, the team approach is focused, creative and persistent, building on young peoples’ confidence and motivation alongside their skills and personal growth.

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Support Adviser.

The Youth Support Adviser (YSA) is a key role in the Youth Employability Service, acting as the first point of contact for 16-18-year-olds who are NEET or at risk of NEET. You will support with first appointments and initial assessments of need, when young people are referred to YES, alongside supporting your caseload. Guiding them through re-engagement with suitable post-16 provisions and provide targeted intervention to those who have withdrawn from or not started their Post 16 provisions.

Working across the East of the county with schools and FE Colleges you will play a key role in ensuring that young people — receive the tailored guidance and support they need to progress confidently into further education, training, or employment. So strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

You will maintain regular contact with the young people you support, plus be a pivotal part of the YES Tracking Team, where you will use various communication methods (phone, text, WhatsApp, email, face-to-face) to engage and support young people and offer our support.

About You

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience of working with young people and looking to progress.

Ideally you understand the post-16 education and training landscape in East Sussex and the importance of person-centred support. You will be a confident communicator and collaborator, able to manage a varied caseload and make a genuine impact on the lives of the young people you support.

About Resonance
Resonance is a 24/7, artist-led community radio station based in Southwark, London, broadcasting on FM, DAB and online to audiences in the UK and internationally. The station supports experimental arts & culture and under-represented voices through community radio broadcasting, working with hundreds of volunteer broadcasters, artists and producers each year alongside a small staff team. Resonance is delivered by London Musicians’ Collective Limited, a registered charity (290236), and is sustained through listener support and grant funding.

Purpose of the Role
This role exists to increase Resonance’s charitable income, securing the funding that enables its artistic and community work to happen. It sits alongside, rather than within, artistic and operational delivery, with a specific focus on charitable fundraising and supporter engagement.

The Development Coordinator works across the organisation to draw out the charitable purpose, public benefit and impact of Resonance’s activity, and to communicate this clearly to funders and donors through funding applications, donor communications and impact-led narratives.

Key Outcomes

• Charitable income increases year on year, supported by a strong pipeline of trust and foundation applications and effective stewardship of funders.
• Individual giving grows, with donors and supporters receiving regular, credible communications that lead to stronger engagement and donations over time.
• Resonance’s charitable activity and public benefit are communicated clearly and confidently to funders and supporters, using evidence that is accurate, proportionate and well judged.
• Donor, funder and impact information is well-organised, up to date and actively used to support fundraising and stewardship.
• Charitable development activity is delivered reliably, supporting the organisation’s long-term financial sustainability within a small, collaborative team.

Role Context
This role is supported by grant funding from the Community Radio Fund, administered by Ofcom on behalf of the UK Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS). The Development Coordinator focuses on resourcing Resonance’s charitable mission by translating artistic and community activity into clear, funder- and donor-facing narratives, working at the intersection of information, relationships and deadlines and exercising good judgement when priorities compete or information is incomplete.

Working Hours
The post is full-time and based at our Southwark studios. Core hours are usually 10a.m - 4p.m, and time off in lieu is provided for agreed additional hours. Because Resonance operates around the clock, some early-morning, evening, or weekend work will occasionally be required to support fundraising activities.

The role and its impact

This is a part-time CEO role providing hands-on leadership so CCE can deliver projects well, support volunteers, and build strong partnerships. Working with the Board, you will help move projects from early-stage development through to installation and reporting.

Key details

• Salary: £45,000 FTE pro rata (2 days/week = £18,000 per year)

• Hours: 2 days per week (flexible working pattern by agreement - evenings and weekends may be required)

• Contract: Fixed term for 12 months (with ambition to extend subject to funding)

• Location: Hybrid/home-based with regular presence in Croydon and occasional London travel

• Start date: 1 April 2026 (flexible)

• Reporting to: Chair of the Board (accountable to the Board of Directors)

• Contract basis: Self-employed contractor. You will manage your own tax and National Insurance and invoice CCE monthly.

What you'll be working on

• Deliver CCE's strategy and Board priorities, turning plans into clear actions, timelines and decisions.

• Coordinate the solar project pipeline with the Projects Director and delivery partners (from feasibility to commissioning and post-install monitoring).

• Oversee budgets, cashflow tracking and financial reporting with the Finance Director; keep risks visible and managed.

• Develop and deliver fundraising plans (grants, sponsorship, partnerships and, where relevant, community share offers).

• Enable good governance: board papers and updates, decisions logs, AGMs and member communications where relevant.

• Support and coordinate volunteers, fostering an inclusive, motivated culture and making it easy for people to contribute.

• Build relationships with key local stakeholders and represent CCE externally when needed.
