Join Us as a Housing Support Worker – Be the Bridge Between Temporary Accommodation and a Home. 

At Peabody, we’re committed to helping people build stable, confident futures. We’re looking for a Housing Support Worker who is compassionate, proactive, and ready to support adults and families living in temporary accommodation.

This is not a care role. It’s a practical, hands on support position focused on empowering people to manage their tenancies, develop essential life skills, and overcome barriers that may be affecting their housing stability. You’ll be working alongside tenants to help them feel more in control of their circumstances, stay independent, and move on positively at the end of their term.

What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you’ll provide high quality, person centred housing support to adults and families living in temporary accommodation, helping them build the skills and confidence needed to sustain their tenancies and move on successfully. You’ll work flexibly, delivering 1-to-1 support both over the phone and through home visits, adapting your approach to meet the diverse needs, backgrounds, and circumstances of each household. Acting as a bridge between accommodation and a stable home, you’ll ensure tenants have the knowledge, tools, and support networks needed to thrive throughout their housing journey.

Your role will involve:

• Risk Management: Completing and regularly updating risk assessments to ensure the safety of tenants, the community, and yourself.
• Housing Related Support: Offering guidance on budgeting, benefit claims (including Universal Credit and Housing Benefit), rent payments, and basic home management.
• Signposting & Advocacy: Identifying additional needs such as mental health, employment, or substance misuse, and connecting tenants to specialist external agencies.
• Administrative Excellence: Maintaining accurate digital case notes in real time, ensuring GDPR compliance and strong, high quality reporting
• Team Collaboration: Providing “roving” support to colleagues and assisting at other schemes when required to ensure continuity of service.
• Holistic Support Planning: Co producing personalised support plans with tenants, setting clear and measurable goals to strengthen housing stability and overall wellbeing.

What we’re looking for

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex housing information clearly to a diverse tenant group, including individuals and families.
• Ability to travel independently to tenants’ homes as part of regular support delivery.
• Experience in housing, social care or community support (desirable but not essential – full training provided for the right candidate).
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and digital case management systems, with confident report writing skills.
• Excellent people skills and the ability to build rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.
• A collaborative, “can do” attitude with a willingness to support other schemes and colleagues during busy periods.

We're currently looking for an Employability Manager to join our team at St. John's this year.

You'll lead the design and delivery of our college-wide employability programme, ensuring our autistic learners and those with additional needs are prepared for meaningful work opportunities. From developing enterprise projects and supporting our Supported Internship programme, to building partnerships with local employers, you'll play a key role in shaping aspirational outcomes for our learners.

You'll also manage a small team of Employability Coordinators, collaborate with curriculum and transitions staff, and embed employability across the learner journey—from skill-building to successful job placements.

This role would particularly suit someone who has:

• Experience working with SEND learners in an educational or employment setting
• A strong understanding of inclusive employment and supported internship models
• Knowledge of the Gatsby benchmarks and Preparing for Adulthood framework
• A background in careers advice, experience working in Further Education (FE) colleges, or demonstrated experience supporting young people with SEND

Benefits advice to people with asbestos diseases, and organise the day-to-day running of the charity, GMAVSG. Manage two workers, cover phone helpline on a rota, maintain databases and case files, liaise with a panel of solicitors, organise and assist in two support groups, and participate in campaigns on asbestos issues at work and in the environment and on benefits and compensation.  You will deliver benefits advice mainly through home visits in Greater Manchester and some of the neighbouring areas of Derbyshire, Cheshire and Lancashire. Full driving licence and access to a car are essential.  GMAVSG is a registered charity, established by the Greater Manchester Hazards Centre (GMHC) in 1994. You will be doing GMAVSG work but employed by GMHC. Recent experience of welfare rights / benefits advice is essential, as are good ICT and administration skills.  Management experience (particularly in the charity sector) would be beneficial, but is not essential. Background Information and Purpose of Post

The Head of Institutional Relations leads HI’s engagement with institutional donors, programme partners and allies in the UK, working closely with colleagues from across the global HI Federation, including our country programmes and our technical departments.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Leadership and management

We’re looking for a Multilateral and Economic Diplomacy Adviser to bring strategic diplomacy and economic insight to our small but mighty advocacy team. This is a fixed-term role for 12-18 months, and we are open to secondments. This is a unique chance to work at the heart of global efforts to tackle air pollution and climate change.

In this role, you’ll help drive international action on clean air – shaping diplomatic strategies, building influential partnerships, and strengthening the economic case for bold, coordinated action. Our advocacy spans major global platforms including the UNFCCC COP and G20, as well as regional and mini-lateral diplomacy. It also includes working with governments, UN agencies, funders and civil society to deliver real‑world impact.

While expertise in both diplomacy and economics policy would be an advantage we are also interested to hear from candidates who are very strong in one of these areas. 

What You’ll Do

• Design and deliver diplomatic strategies for putting air pollution action on the agenda at multi-lateral, regional and mini-lateral fora.
• Manage engagement with governments and multilateral bodies
• Represent CAF at international forums and support senior leaders’ high‑level engagements.
• Manage grants, service contracts and research projects that inform policy and diplomacy.

BSC manages £634m of its own investments as well as acting as portfolio manager for the Schroder BSC Social Impact Investment Trust (SBSI) managing its £83m portfolio. We are seeking an enthusiastic PR and Social Media Officer to support our external communications, thought leadership initiatives, and events programme, with a particular focus on communicating complex financial and investment-led ideas in a clear, engaging way.

The role will be responsible for executing PR and social media strategies that elevate Better Society Capital's reputation, amplify our thought leadership, and create meaningful engagement with our diverse stakeholder ecosystem, including investors, policymakers, financial institutions, and impact-focused organisations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already has a grounding in finance or financial services communications and is looking to develop specialist expertise within the impact investing sector.

What you will do:

PR Support & Content Creation

• Support the execution of PR strategies and campaigns under senior management guidance

• Help translate technical financial concepts into accessible narratives for non-specialist audiences, while maintaining accuracy and credibility

• Draft press releases, media statements, and thought leadership content relating to investment activity, market development, and financial policy, for review and approval

• Research industry trends across financial services, impact investing, and public policy, identifying credible story opportunities

• Monitor media coverage and compile regular media reports and analysis

• Support communications around investment announcements, fund performance, market data, and research outputs

Social Media Management & Content Creation

• Execute daily social media activities across all platforms (LinkedIn and Bluesky)

What you will bring:

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

• 1–2 years’ experience in PR, social media, or communications roles within a finance-adjacent environment (e.g. agency clients in financial services, impact investing, asset management, banking, or in-house roles)

• Strong writing and editing skills across multiple formats and platforms, with the ability to communicate financial or investment-related content clearly

• Familiarity with trade & national media landscape in the UK

• Experience creating content for professional and stakeholder audiences, including investors, policymakers, or sector specialists

• Familiarity with the UK investment, charity, or social enterprise landscape

• Confidence working with data, evidence, and financial information to support communications outputs

• Experience with social media management, content creation, and analytics

Desirable:

• Educational background in finance, economics, business, or a related subject, or equivalent professional experience

• Experience working in or for financial services, investment firms, impact funds, or financial PR agencies

• Demonstrable understanding of impact investing, social investment, or sustainable finance

Job Purpose
Lead and develop the charity’s HR and Volunteering functions (People) to foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive work environment, in line with the organisation’s values and EDI objectives

Key Tasks

Leadership

• Work with the People Sub-Committee (PSC) and SMT to develop and implement organisational people strategies and plans to support the delivery of our organisational strategy for older people.

It is the only specialist charity for children affected by conflict, with four main areas of work: protecting children, educating children, supporting communities and campaigning. The charity are renowned for their creative, innovative and entrepreneurial approach, with strong connections to the gaming, music and creative industries. 

Philanthropy is a central driver of War Child’s growth. Income has risen rapidly, underpinned by exceptional networks, high-profile supporters and a highly successful portfolio of events and experiences. Following a strategic review, War Child is now investing in a more structured, sustainable approach to philanthropy fundraising with two clearly defined strands: one focused on traditional major donor relationship management and pipeline growth, and a second dedicated to high-value events and experiences as a core driver of major donor engagement and income. This role has been created to lead the second strand.

While the Senior Philanthropy Manager’s primary focus will be generating income from a warm portfolio of major donors, they will also take strategic ownership of War Child’s high-value philanthropy events, shaping donor engagement rather than delivering events operationally. This is an autonomous, externally-facing role, unlocking influential networks and converting high-profile engagement into long-term philanthropic partnerships.

As Senior Philanthropy Manager, you will:

• Manage and develop a portfolio of donors and warm prospects capable of giving 6-figure gifts, including high-value donors currently sitting with senior leadership
• Take strategic ownership of War Child’s high-value events as a core driver of the major donor pipeline, shaping and strengthening this strand so it becomes a defined, sustainable part of the philanthropy programme
• Lead on donor engagement around events, including narrative, asks, pledge levels, follow-up and conversion to income

Family Action & the Role’s Impact: 

We are seeking a Peer Mentoring Coordinator to develop and manage our new LGBTQ+ Peer Mentoring Programme, training and supporting Project Indigo members to become mentors in the local community.

Project Indigo is the LGBTQ+ youth service based at Off Centre at Family Action. It is open to anyone aged 16-25 who identifies as LGBTQ+ or is exploring their sexuality or gender identity. Our weekly youth group is a safe, supportive space for LGBTQ+ young people to meet each other and participate in workshops and activities. In addition to the youth group, Project Indigo offers 1-to-1 support and advice sessions with the Project Lead. The group aims to support young people to build links with the local LGBTQ+ community, build meaningful relationships and get support around issues that are impacting them. Project Indigo maintains a youth-led and person-centred approach, with this role being developed in consultation with our members to support them in accessing training and support to do community-focused work. The Peer Mentoring Coordinator’s role will be to develop a new Peer Mentoring Programme, supporting older Project Indigo members to train as mentors and deliver mentoring sessions with younger LGBTQ+ people in the local community.

Off Centre is a service that provides a range of targeted mental health focused support services to young people aged 16 to 25 who reside/are registered with a City and Hackney GP. These include: individual, counselling and psychotherapy, individual and group art psychotherapy, key-work support, out of hours drop-in service on Thursday evenings; targeted provision for children and young people of African, Caribbean and mixed heritage (ACH); and an Information and Advice provision.

The role

As the Peer Mentoring Coordinator, you will develop and lead Project Indigo’s Peer Mentoring Programme. Central to the role will be understanding young mentors’ needs and goals, and providing high quality supervisory support throughout the training and mentoring process. You will further develop the Mentoring programme, consulting with relevant organisations, liaising with partners, and keeping accurate records to monitor progress for administrative and evaluative purposes.

This role will enrich Project Indigo’s holistic offer by providing young people with the opportunity to access training, qualifications and work experience while receiving high quality support tailored to their needs. You will offer sensitive supervisory support to young LGBTQ+ mentors, supporting their diverse need by maintaining an empathetic, intersectional and youth-led approach.

You will be a confident communicator with proven experience of working in a supportive role with LGBTQ+ young people and/or evidence of in-depth knowledge of issues relating to LGBTQ+ young people, in particular trans and gender diverse young people.

You will be empathetic and maintain an understanding of the social issues impacting young LGBTQ+ people. You will have excellent organisational skills and be able to manage your time and workload effectively. You will have an understanding of risk management, health and safety issues and the ability in accordance with local and organisational safeguarding policies.
