Job description

We invite applications for an exciting opportunity to join and support the development of our National Forensic Service from our office in London and working from home until our current Covid-19 policy changes. This role will also entail some travel across the country – particularly to the Midlands.

The Forensic Service Manager (UK) will join Respond at an exciting time in our development. We are growing as an organisation and now have a hub in the Midlands as well as London, giving us even more of a national reach.

You will ensure the continuous improvement and effective delivery of all forensic services across Respond nationally. These services include specialist psychotherapy, risk assessments, risk analysis and Circles of Support and Accountability (COSA) for people with learning disabilities and/or autism who have committed criminal offences and/or who exhibit sexually harmful or other forms of high-risk behaviour.

You will also deliver a range of direct services including psychotherapy, risk assessments, case management, clinical supervision, reflective practice groups, consultation and training for a wide range of clinicians, professionals and care staff externally, drawing on your experience.

This unique opportunity may well be the next step in your career advancement with a commitment from Respond to support and develop your skills in all areas of the role, including your knowledge of trauma and its impact of people with a learning disability, autism or both.

About us: Respond is a small national charity providing specialised community support for children and adults with learning disabilities, autism or both who have experienced abuse or trauma.

To apply: Via CharityJob with a covering letter outlining how you meet the person specification criteria. Applications without a covering letter will not be considered.

Closing date: 09:00 on 19th April 2021

Interviews (by Zoom): 29th April 2021
