Join the Housing Project, part of the Faith and Public Life team at the Church of England, which leads national work on ethics, public policy, and engagement with government, civil society, and faith communities.

With £4.25 million allocated over five years, the Housing Project supports dioceses and parishes in delivering affordable and specialist housing on underused Church land.

As Church Housing Enabler, you will play a vital role in helping parishes across England develop affordable and specialist housing on underused Church of England land. You'll work closely with PCCs (Parochial Church Councils), diocesan staff, and external partners to guide projects from initial vision through to delivery readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support parishes across England in developing housing projects from vision to delivery.
• Guide PCCs through governance, feasibility, planning, funding, and sustainability.
• Build partnerships with diocesan teams, housing associations, and local authorities.
• Facilitate workshops and share practical resources to build local capacity.
• Monitor project progress and share best practices across dioceses.

You'll be hands-on, enabling local churches to navigate complex development processes confidently and connecting them with the right expertise and resources.

• This is an office-based hybrid role, and you are required to come to the primary office location, Lambeth Palace/Church House, for face-to-face meetings.

About AAFDA
Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse (AAFDA) is a specialist national charity supporting families bereaved by domestic homicide and working to improve responses to domestic abuse, homicide and suicide prevention. We provide expert advocacy, training, and policy development to influence systemic change and ensure that lessons are learned after domestic abuse related deaths.

The Role
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Training and Events Officer to support our growing training and development programmes and help raise the profile of AAFDA’s work across the UK. This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for someone with experience in training, event management, and partnership development who is passionate about improving responses to domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, Develop, implement, and evaluate AAFDA’s internal and external training programmes.
• Deliver AAFDA Training Programmes
• Coordinate and manage the AAFDA Conference
• Assessment of workbooks associated with AAFDA’s Level 3 Accredited training
• Produce high-quality training materials and resources suitable for live on line, and in person training. .

• Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders in the domestic abuse and criminal justice sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Challenge Events Team at Dementia UK, where you will help coordinate a portfolio of third-party challenge event activities, driving both participation and income for the organisation. You’ll manage our Great North Run, Cardiff Half Marathon, Paris Marathon and London Landmark Half Marathon, of who we are a Big Ben partner.

As a Challenge Events Executive, you will leverage your knowledge and utilise data-driven insights to identify new opportunities and shape budget plans. You will be responsible for driving and delivering marketing plans with a focus on email and digital activity, as well as coordinating the production of marketing collateral to ensure excellent supporter experiences and efficient delivery.

You will also work with the Database and Supporter Care teams as well as Challenge Events Assistants to ensure that supporter data is collected and stored efficiently, so that supporters are thanked appropriately, and post-campaign analysis is comprehensive. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating the production of stewardship collateral including copywriting, compiling design briefs and liaising with internal teams and expert suppliers.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience of coordinating fundraising events or campaigns. You should possess hands-on experience utilising relationship databases, coupled with an understanding of effective marketing channels, particularly digital. Additionally, expertise in stewardship techniques will be crucial for increasing remittance rates and maximising average gifts. You should also have an understanding of how to use insights, data and market trends to identify opportunities and make recommendations.

The Green House is the only specialist service across BNSSG and BANES supporting children, young people, and families who have experienced sexual abuse.

Our distinct approach is: 1. Evidence-based, guided by research and best practices. 2. Led by the voices of young people and their families. 3. Centred on community and connection. 4. Focused on the transformational power of the creative arts. In 2022, we transitioned from a single therapy option to a whole family, community-based model which provides a more accessible and comprehensive approach to support, whilst reducing wait times by 63%. Though we deliver a local service, our work is influencing the national response to child sexual abuse. We provide national training on pre-trial therapy and survivor-led leadership programmes.

Purpose of the Role

The Children and Young People’s (CYP) Therapist sits within The Green House Therapy Service under the direction of the Clinical Manager. The CYP therapist will be a part of a wider team of family support practitioners, VOICE practitioners, Specialist Practitioner/s and Pathway Administrators. The postholder will also need to be able to work at outreach sites across BNSGG and BANES which upholds TGHs mission to be more accessible to families. The practitioner must be self-governing as lone working is always a possibility.

Skills, Experience and Benefits:

• Proven success in corporate, major donor or partnerships fundraising (2+ years preferred) or proven transferable relationship management.

About The Role

Your role will be to oversee the delivery of the service, making sure the programme meets its aim, line managing the Complex Lives Navigator. You will jointly collate all reports for the quarterly Operational Governance and Performance Board and present outcomes and learning. You will also be responsible for compiling reports, including case studies, for the commissioner demonstrating Reach Out’s activities and impact.

Identifying opportunities for systems change will also be a key part of the role, including building relationships with agencies and people with lived experience to understand issues and barriers to accessing treatment, using data and feeding back insight where needed and making sure lessons learnt inform future service delivery.

About You

You have experience of developing relationships and building trust with both individuals and partner organisations and excellent skills in communication and problem-solving.  With demonstrable experience of performance reporting, chairing and facilitating meetings and workshops, you are able to establish joint working protocols and referral pathways with partner organisations. Experience of analysing data and developing insights to monitor and evaluate the service, along with experience of safeguarding frameworks, line management and experience and understanding of drug and alcohol services will be key.

About The Team

The Reach Out Service supports people who have substance use issues, taking the support to them either in their accommodation or where they are rough sleeping. The service supports people with their current goals, which can include areas such as starting prescription medication, group work, continued substance use and abstinence.

You will be part of the Dorset Hub which has offices in Bournemouth and Weymouth and will link in with other Shelter teams, including the community advice and legal teams. We offer specialist housing advice and legal representation as well as housing workshops and lived experience activities in the community.
