Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Senior Property Compliance Officer to join our Property team.

We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support, and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment.

About the role

As Senior Property Compliance Officer, you’ll lead Centrepoint’s approach to water hygiene and asbestos compliance across all properties, ensuring we meet and exceed statutory and best-practice standards (ACOP L8/HSG274; CAR 2012).

You’ll own the compliance framework for water and asbestos, oversee risk assessments and remedial actions, and maintain an audit-ready data trail. You’ll also play a key role in assuring compliance across other safety domains — gas, fire, electrical, and LOLER — supporting our commitment to a safety-first culture for staff and residents.

This is a senior, hands-on role with line-management responsibility for the Property Compliance Officer, as well as direct oversight of competent contractors and suppliers.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading water hygiene and asbestos compliance across Centrepoint’s property portfolio.

• Owning and maintaining policies, risk registers, and audit programmes for water and asbestos.

• Approving and assuring risk assessments, RAMS, and remedial actions.

• Managing competent contractors and suppliers, ensuring performance against KPIs.

• Providing assurance and escalation across wider compliance areas (gas, fire, electrical, LOLER, etc.).

• Producing clear and insightful KPI and compliance reports for senior forums.

• Championing a safety-first, resident-centred culture across all services.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience leading water hygiene and asbestos compliance across a multi-site portfolio.

• In-depth knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, and CAR 2012.

• Competency to act as Legionella Responsible Person and/or BOHS P405 qualified for asbestos management.

• Experience managing contractors and assuring compliance performance.

• Strong planning, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• A proactive, accountable, and collaborative approach, with a focus on continuous improvement.

(Experience within the supported housing or charity sector would be advantageous but not essential.)

Your mission

We are looking for an experienced, forward-thinking Head of Communications who will be responsible for the global communication strategy and ensure that key stakeholders, such as (institutional) fundraisers and marketing and communication teams in our fundraising markets have the necessary inspiring content, assets and information about our programmes. You will lead the War Child Alliance Foundation’s communications team and will also ensure there is an outstanding communications and marketing platform for our critical programmes, advocacy and scaling work. You will  plan for and support the War Child Alliance internal communications processes to foster information sharing and support our People and Culture and Leadership teams.

Team

The War Child Alliance Communications team is responsible for the brand and the reputation on a global level for War Child, as well as overseeing all global and corporate communications and supporting the communications requirements of the War Child Alliance Foundation directorates. In tandem, the team also offers a robust service provision to our fundraising member network, supplying them with content, information and assets to support their communications and marketing outputs, and supports our internal communications processes across the Alliance.

What you will do: 

You will report directly to the CEO of the War Child Alliance. Your key stakeholders will be those that are leading our programmes, scaling and advocacy work, global grants managers, research and development teams and the Fundraising and communications professionals operating in our fundraising markets. You'll lead, motivate and inspire a hugely talented team to innovate and adopt new ways of working in order to deliver our global communications.

 
You will be responsible for: 

• Implementing the War Child Alliance Foundation’s communications and marketing strategy, linked to the Alliance strategy and goals, managing risks and barriers and overcoming these
• Designing and running processes with colleagues across the Alliance to coordinate comms approaches which work effectively for all Alliance members and offices. 
• Managing (in some cases, developing) in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, communication guidelines and policies, content calendar, campaigning frameworks and other marketing and comm’s tools and standard operating processes that enable strategy implementation.
• Overseeing the creation of creative and inspiring content about country and global programmes, research results and scaling efforts, our advocacy work and campaigns that help to raise brand visibility and engage new supporters and donors
• Acting as an inspirational team leader, able to bring others together so that there is a sense of shared purpose and cooperation among the Alliance members’ communication and fundraising teams.
• Drawing on the benefits of international diversity and our organisational culture, bring together people from many cultures with varied work experiences and different perspectives on strategic and organisational challenges. 
• Pro-actively advise the CEO and stakeholders on internal and external global communications.
• Act as a focal point in the alliance for questions regarding internal and external communications. 
• Act as a communications crisis focal point and lead in crisis situations. 

Your profile

• Experience leading high profile and effective multi-functional, globally focused communication and marketing teams. 
• Strong critical analysis and strategic thinking skills.
• Experience of providing strategic, integrated communications and compelling (corporate) storytelling for a well-known brand. 
• Proven experience and an excellent eye for content marketing, global campaign and PR possibilities. 
• Track record and a keen ability in responding to reputational risks, crises or challenging situations quickly and professionally 
• Intellectual and professional level at least equivalent to higher education and with a focus on a background in humanitarian affairs and development, ideally with exposure to child rights. 
• Knowledge and experience of global brand identity development and promotion
• Knowledge and experience of global advocacy focused communications campaigns 
• Strong ability to express skillfully in written and oral English is a must; mastery in Arabic, Dutch, French or Spanish is preferred.

About You

We are looking for a HR Manager to lead on external HR services delivered through The Social Change Hive (SCH). The Social Change Hive is an ethical payroll management service for people and organisations working towards social change. This role ensures that Hive clients receive expert HR guidance, compliant processes, and a positive employee experience.

Internally, The Social Change Nest’s day-to-day HR administration will sit with the Operations Manager – People & Systems. The HR Manager will collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure alignment and provide specialised HR expertise where needed but will primarily focus on client-facing HR expertise.

Key responsibilities

Client HR Support & Advisory (50%)

• Provide expert HR advice and support to Hive clients, ensuring compliance with UK employment law.
• Act as the main point of contact for client employee relations (e.g. disciplinary, grievances, contract changes, leave entitlements).
• Support Hive clients with recruitment and induction processes, ensuring accessible, values-led practices.
• Deliver HR compliance checks for Hive clients, including contracts, policies, and processes.
• Advise clients on best practice for wellbeing, inclusion, and trauma-informed HR.

Compliance & Risk (20%)

• Ensure Hive services remain compliant with UK employment law and statutory requirements.
• Monitor changes in employment law and update Hive policies, templates, and processes accordingly.
• Oversee HR risk management for client organisations, escalating high-risk issues to Head of Operations.

Client HR Systems & Processes (15%)

• Manage Hive’s HR platforms (e.g. BrightHR) for client employees.
• Ensure accurate employee records and reporting for Hive client staff.
• Maintain and update client-facing HR resources and guidance.

Payroll & Benefits (10%)

• Support Hive’s payroll function by advising on client HR inputs (contracts, salary sacrifice schemes, benefits).
• Liaise with SCN Finance and external providers to resolve client payroll queries.

Internal support to Operations Manager (5%)

• Support Operations Manager with escalated HR queries and employee relations management

Terms and benefits

Terms: The role will be 30 hours/week. We will consider well-structured JobShare applications. As we often work with volunteers, occasional evening and weekend work will be required and compensated through TOIL. Occasional UK travel will be required (by arrangement).

Salary: £31,416 (pro rata, 30 hours a week)

Contract duration: This is a permanent contract. 

Location: You must be based inside the UK. We have an office in Farringdon, London which London-based staff are in 2-3 times a week. We do have some staff working remotely but due to the responsibilities of the role, we would prefer the Head of Operations to be London-based.

We hold quarterly all-staff strategy meetings and annual away days which you will be required to attend in person and for which we will cover the cost of your travel. You will be required to come together with the team occasionally and these travel costs will not be covered, we try our best to keep these to when only necessary. 

Language skills & visa status: Candidates must be fluent in English. You must have the right to work in the UK independently, as we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.

Holiday:  28 days plus bank holidays

Employer pension contribution: We offer a 3% employer pension contribution, that you will be auto enrolled into after 3 months of employment with SCN.

About CoppaFeel!

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.

We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.

Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.

The Role

The role of Challenge Events Assistant will sit within the CoppaFeel! Challenge Events team, in the Fundraising Department. The Challenge Events team’s work is divided into third-party events - which includes any mass participation challenge event a supporter could take on (think half marathons, marathons, swims, cycles, treks, obstacle courses and more!), and bespoke events - namely our iconic CoppaTrek with Gi! Series.

Third-party events at CoppaFeel! are going through a very exciting period of growth at the moment, having gone from raising £140k in 2024, to over £400k in 2025 and planning to raise close to £600k in 2026. Therefore, we are looking for a passionate new team member to take on the role of Challenge Events Assistant to support the fast-growing portfolio.

You will mostly work alongside our Sporting Challenge Events Manager to support CoppaFeel!’s Sporting Challenge Events portfolio. Our portfolio is growing every year and contains many of the most iconic events out there, like the TCS London Marathon, Hackney Half, Great North Run, Royal Parks Half Marathon and London Landmarks Half Marathon to name but a few!

Whilst our third-party events will be your main focus, you may also have the opportunity to support our iconic CoppaTrek! programme.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our third-party events participants, providing excellent supporter experience and building relationships whilst offering motivation and fundraising advice. Alongside delivering outstanding supporter care, you will also handle essential administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of our day-to-day operations and so that our events go off without a hitch.

This role does require some evening and weekend work - although not behind the laptop! Instead you could be on the iconic Tower Bridge, setting up flags, banners and queuing up some bangers ready to bring immaculate CoppaFeel! vibes to tens of thousands of runners taking on a half marathon. So get ready to whoop, cheer and spread the chest checking messages to the masses! Please bear in mind that as part of this role, you will be expected to travel and may have to stay away from home on occasion. Should you be required to work on weekends, you will be entitled to time off in lieu.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office at least 2 days per week. You will also be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training. We will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone to join our growing fundraising team and get invaluable experience within the charity events sector - all whilst helping to shape the future of CoppaFeel!’s challenge events offering! You'll be at the forefront of our mission to educate and empower young people about the importance of early detection of breast cancer, and therefore we are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate person, who thrives in a busy environment.

This is a fixed term contract for 18 months.

Duties and Responsibilities

Challenge Events

• Be the first point of contact for event participants and volunteers; including answering enquiries, welcoming and onboarding participants, sending of regular emails, phone calls, distribution of fundraising materials and supporting the virtual and in-person community spaces and meetups
• Assist with management of Events Inbox to ensure all emails are responded to in a friendly and timely manner
• Attend events in person, alongside CoppaFeel! Staff and volunteers, playing a key role to deliver smoothly-run and successful branded activations at third-party events
• Maintain both CoppaFeel! and event partners’ event database records and ensure supporter data is kept accurate, up to date and GDPR compliant
• Send fundraising materials, prizes, incentives, cards and gifts to our supporters
• Provide an excellent supporter experience and build relationships with participants, whilst offering motivation, fundraising advice and ensuring they reach their fundraising targets
• Support the Sporting Challenge Event manager with the planning and delivery of CoppaFeel!’s third-party event programme
• Support the Sporting Challenge Events Manager to work with the Marketing Team to promote and create communications and content around events

General Responsibilities

• Respond to a range of fundraising enquiries in a timely manner, liaising with supporters via email and over the phone as appropriate
• Send out ad hoc postal requests for Fundraising materials from CoppaFeel!’s office
• Manage volunteers and fundraisers effectively, inspiring them to support CoppaFeel! long term
• Attend and support at additional events - including our CoppaTrek!s and our awareness events
• Work and collaborate across all departments of CoppaFeel! to ensure our health messaging and core values are at the heart of everything we do
• Work flexibly and sometimes remotely, with occasional work outside core hours including weekends (time off in lieu given for weekend work)

About The Role

Place2Be is looking for an Education Partnerships Manager to lead relationships with Multi Academy Trusts (MATs) and key partners, ensuring high-quality mental health services across schools. Acting as the main liaison, you’ll oversee service delivery, monitor performance, analyse impact data, and drive improvements. About the role:

This role is offered to work from the office in Basingstoke, full time.

As a Caseworker you will:

• Make calls to offer support to victims of domestic abuse, delivering immediate support.
• Develop, deliver and monitor safety and support plans for those affected by crime who accept ongoing support, which will include providing resources, interventions, and information to all service users
• Liaise and actively engage with other local providers to share information on the VS service offer and options for victims and survivors

Our ‘Direct Work’ is central to the organisation, and we are looking to recruit a new Women’s Support Worker. Taking a woman-centred approach, your role is to provide phone-based holistic support for women with complex needs who want support or to exit the sex industry. The primary focus of your work will be prospect identification and qualification for an upcoming capital campaign. This will include new major donor prospects and charitable Trusts that support capital projects.
You will also be responsible for undertaking due diligence on individuals, corporations and trusts that are supporting Battersea in order to inform our colleagues about potential financial and reputational risks, empowering them to make informed decisions about our partnerships.
You will be an integral part of the capital campaign, managing the prospect pipelines, tracking prospects as they move through the cultivation cycle and supporting the fundraisers with their cultivation. You will also write and contribute to event biographies for our Special Event program during particularly busy periods.

Your role

The fundraising and communications group at CMS has ambitious goals and targets and you’ll play a key role in helping successfully deliver on these. You’ll harness the huge potential of social media and other digital platforms to help CMS get the attention of our target audiences, build brand awareness, raise money and recruit people to our mission programmes. As well as having a strong working knowledge of social media platforms, you will need to be able to create and edit video as well as other forms of compelling content.

What you’ll need to succeed

It is essential that the post holder has proven social media, organic and paid content production experience, including video creation, and knowledge of social media posting and interaction via Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and X in an organisational context.

In addition, proven website editing using a content management system such as WordPress and email marketing via a client such as DotDigital.

It is also a requirement that this post holder is committed to the aims and values of CMS.
