You will coordinate the Social Homes for Manchester campaign coalition and implement our strategy for strengthening the housing justice movement in Manchester and across GM. You will lead on organising community workshops and events raising awareness about campaign asks and the Manchester Local Plan consultation process.

You will convene workshops and events focused on building the capacity of a network of ward-based community coalitions to understand housing and planning policy and process. This might include how local development applications are compiled, submitted, decided on; and strategies for ensuring appropriate levels of Section 106 contributions and social rent homes are included in development applications.

You will work with the Social Homes for Manchester Steering Group and community leaders to provide coordination support to at least one neighbourhood planning process and efforts to encourage community-led housing innovations.

You will create a new set of webpages focused on provision of transparent and accessible information on housing need, upcoming developments, and performance against housing targets at ward and city scale.

About Social Homes for Manchester (SH4M)

• SH4M is a coalition of community associations, charities, think tanks, academics and social justice organisations focused on accelerating the number of social homes that are created in Manchester by 2030 and ensuring this is done in an environmentally sustainable way.
• Much of our work over the last two years has focused on generating an evidence base, influencing strategy, and set of relationships to facilitate influence, including through convening the Manchester Social Housing Commission which concludes in December 2025.
• SH4M is now focused on implementing a two-year strategy including building a network of citizen coalitions across the city of Manchester with the information and capacity to hold decision-makers and providers to account for accelerated delivery of sustainable social rent homes. This includes taking forward the findings of the Manchester Social Housing Commission.

About This Job

This is an exciting role in the Army Cadet Charitable Trust UK (ACCT UK) to be the focal point for providing effective support to the Director of Finance and the Finance Manager through the completion of month end, year end and audit, and associated processes. We are recruiting Employment Advisors to join our IPS service, you will be based in Kingston and Sutton, working 35 hours per week. The service adheres closely to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people in to employment. This role will be working with clients who have mental health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment.

You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. Role Purpose

The role of the Outreach & Development Worker is to ensure carers of all ages and backgrounds are aware of their rights and know how to receive support from Gaddum and other services they need at the right time for them.

The job holder will provide outreach & support sessions, deliver groups and events for carers and other relevant partners across Salford. Creating exciting new opportunities for carers through networking and building partnerships.

The role will focus on the outreach provision, being based in different locations across Salford including hospitals, community venues, mental health settings and others accessed by people with caring responsibilities. The role will include supporting the continued development of the service, assisting with the creation of resources and training. The role will also support our involvement offer; ensuring carers are at the forefront of service change and service delivery.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

· Facilitate carers drop-ins in venues across Salford, including but not limited to hospital sites (both on wards and public areas), community venues (such as Gateways) and high footfall locations.

· Provide one-off, solution-focussed appointments to address the immediate needs of carers identified in the community or at the point of referral.

· Create networking opportunities throughout all wards of Salford to publicise the service and build/ maintain relevant partnerships.

· Complete Statutory Carers Assessments.

· To be able to travel to various locations in Salford, at times multiple locations per day – often carrying service promotional materials. Salford is a large city covering 37 sq. miles.

· Create and run exciting events and support groups for carers, organisations and stakeholders to attend.

· Create and deliver service presentations aimed at carers, to communicate the support and opportunities available from the service.

· Create and deliver service presentations aimed at community groups, educational bodies and organisations to raise awareness of how to identify and support carers, and to increase the visibility of the service.

· Develop ways to identify carers across Salford and let them know about support available to them and their needs.

· Invite Carers to be involved with the service and help us to coproduce/ codesign our service offer.

· Get to know Salford’s diverse communities and organisations, providing culturally appropriate information and support.

· Promote Carers Rights to carers, Salford’s communities and relevant organisations.

· Maintain a clear record of work completed by note taking and recording on our recording system.

· To meet regularly with line manager for supervision.

Experience of team management is not essential, but you will need to be an experienced Employment Specialist or Senior Employment Specialist, with a performance (quality and outcomes) track record to enable you to demonstrate IPS principles and ways of working to your team.  We would also ideally like you to have experience of driving change or improving performance, either at team level or as an individual team member.  Experience of a fidelity review at any level would be an advantage.

About the Role

The Finance and Administrative Assistant will provide essential support across three main areas: finances, events and training. This role is about being detail-oriented in the finance administration, well organised, supporting smooth communication, and helping our members and partners to engage with our services. The role will report to the training and conference manager. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance administration, substantial experience of using Customer Relations Management Systems (CRM) and Xero (or similar systems), and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Heritage Activity and Evaluation Consultant to support the delivery and evaluation of our tower restoration and heritage project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. This role is crucial in ensuring the project meets its approved purposes and outcomes, while providing valuable insights for future development.

Scope of Work

1. We expect that the appointed Heritage Activity Consultant will deliver the following:

· Lead on the successful delivery of the heritage engagement activities as per the Project Plan to achieve The National Lottery Heritage Fund’s outcomes and approved purposes

· Lead on the promotion and publicity of the project

· Lead on the recruitment and management of volunteers

· Liaise with the project partners listed in the Project Plan, as well as any other connections that are created through the project

· Maintain high quality records of all project activities

· Submit Progress Reports and Grant Claims to the Heritage Fund

· Support the Evaluation Consultant with the evaluation of the project

2. Regular Monitoring Support

· Assist the church with the submission of The National Lottery Heritage Fund grant reports and payment claims.

3. End-of-Project Evaluation
