About us

The Ocean Regeneration Trust is a well-established local charity committed to supporting residents living on the Ocean Estate by bringing together local people and organisations to address local community needs.

The opportunity

The Ocean Regeneration Trust is looking for a Centre Manager to support the set up and management of a Community Centre in the heart of the Ocean Estate in Stepney.

About the role

The role will be pivotal in the smooth and successful day-to-day running of the Centre, building a welcoming, busy and vibrant community space and providing services and activities for the community. The Centre Manager will be involved in helping to shape and launch new activities and events and establishing new partnerships as well as ensuring that the building is well maintained and compliant with current legislation. They will work to maximise use of the available facilities and identify new opportunities through effective marketing, networking and innovative solutions.

Person specification

This exciting new role will suit someone who is a self-starter with a responsible, resilient and resourceful approach.
