About the role:
At the Women’s Recovery Service, you’ll be part of a dedicated accommodation service supporting women who have experienced homelessness, VAWG, poor health, substance use, and exclusion from essential services.
This is more than a job in accommodation services: it is an opportunity to stand alongside women as they reclaim their strength, build new futures and shape their own recovery.
As our Specialist Multiple Disadvantage Worker you will bring expertise, creativity and determination to help women break down barriers and take steps forward with confidence. You will be supported through training, reflective practice and career progression, giving you the chance to deepen your expertise and take your career in exciting directions. This role is your chance to make a lasting difference not only to the women you support but to how SHP continues to lead the way in ending homelessness for women across London.

- Knowledge of women’s services and the impact of violence against women and girls (VAWG).
- Understanding of how statutory and community services operate, including health, social care, housing and criminal justice.
- Ability to engage and build trust with people who may be reluctant to accept support.

We help single Londoners by preventing homelessness, providing support and accommodation, promoting wellbeing, enhancing opportunity, and being a voice for change. From supporting people in crisis to helping people take the final steps towards independence and employment, we make a difference to 12,000 lives every year across all 32 boroughs.
We offer you more than a job; we offer you a chance to be part of a compassionate, driven team that's committed to making a real difference in people's lives. You'll have the opportunity to lead, co-create, and inspire change while enjoying a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Join us in creating a brighter, more hopeful future for individuals in need.
