The Assistant Director will play a key role in shaping the community fundraising and engagement strategy, improving ROI across fundraising activities and strengthening collaboration between regional teams and head office. The role
As a Board Member you will be responsible for:

The Events Officer will work with the Events Manager to develop, plan and deliver the hospice's programme of events across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre. You'll lead on the operational planning and delivery of these events, including creating detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, promotional plans and post‑event evaluations.
You will provide exceptional stewardship to event participants from the moment they sign up until after the event. Along with the Marketing and Communications Team, you'll ensure messaging across the event is consistent, inspiring and tailored. You will also provide on the day support, ensuring each event feels warm and welcoming to participants.
