As part of the strategic direction for the fundraising team we are looking for an individual experienced in Philanthropy or with demonstrable exceptionable donor stewardship skills to join our team. This individual will support and develop our Philanthropic donors to play a key role in the growth of the charity over the next 10 years and consequently the enhancement of our life saving air ambulance service. This role has the option to be a remote post with the expectation to attend donor or team meetings when required.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

· Manage a portfolio of warm and cold prospects cultivating and stewarding these relationships. 

· Identify and cultivate new donor prospects, with a cross team focus on pipeline development. 

· Lead on the implementation of a strategic stewardship programme, including the delivery of high level, engaging stewardship events for high-net-worth supporters that inspire philanthropic support. 

· Supporting the development of the ambassador programmes, identifying and cultivating relationships with high profile celebrities. 

· Proactively manage budgets, monitor, and report on Philanthropy income generation including corporate pipeline, new business achieved and the status of existing donors to ensure income targets are delivered.

This is an exciting opportunity for a major donor fundraiser to join CSW, to initiate and develop strong relationships with individuals and corporates who have the capacity to make significant donations to CSW and to steward these relationships towards deeper engagement with CSW year after year.

• Develop a Major Gifts strategy that delivers agreed income goals and leads to increased and multi-year financial commitments from Major Donors.
• Develop individual cultivation plans for Major Donors that provide opportunities for them to make impactful gifts, pray and campaign.
• Research and write funding proposals and cases for support and adapt as needed.
• Produce and send regular letters and reports demonstrating the impact of gifts.
• Develop relationships with a small pool of Corporates that leads to increased engagement and income generation.

You have strong inter-personal skills which you are able to use to build internal and external relationships. You are able to inspire people to make a difference through their giving and you are just as passionate about communicating the impact of their gift. • A minimum of three years’ major donor fundraising experience for a charity.
• Proven track record of securing five-figure and six-figure gifts from major donors.
• Experience of providing excellent stewardship to major donors.
• Excellent communication skills, especially verbal and written English
• Writing compelling funding applications/ proposals that match donors’ interests with CSW’s mission and activities.

As Assistant Shop Manager at Scope's Torquay shop, you’ll work alongside the Shop Manager, and use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. You will be able to use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. You may also deputise and be responsible for running the shop when the shop manager is absent. A great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as relevant experience.

About you

You’ll be a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic and committed to providing excellent customer service. You do not need specific retail experience. But we do ask that you are business minded and have worked in a fast paced, service environment where you put the customer’s needs first. As Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will manage and grow our relationships with partners and donors from the private sector, who support our work through donations, employee fundraising and volunteering activities. 

The successful candidate will thrive on cultivating and executing a fantastic experience for our corporate partners, finding opportunities to maximise their engagement and deliver fundraised income targets. The role will focus on managing and growing our existing relationships.

Key Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Manage the charity’s relationships with a portfolio of corporate partners

• Implement account management practices that support continued development and growth of key relationships, ensuring partners feel looked after, valued and understand the impact of their support. 

• Develop strong working internal relationships with colleagues, charity partners and volunteers, to identify suitable opportunities to bring to life the cause and solutions for partners and their employees. 

• Liaison between corporate partners and our volunteer programmes function, connecting partner employees to opportunities and stewarding the activity. 

• Create high quality reports, proposals and presentations that communicate the impact of our work and partnerships. 

• Ensure impactful relationships with challenge event providers and other fundraising products, taking responsibility for selling places in to partners to support fundraising and engagement. 

• Meet income targets of minimum c. £500k pa.

• Ensure the charity complies with the fundraising regulator code of practice and fundraising compliance legislation. 

• Track and report on income, working with Finance as needed 

• Represent The Childhood Trust at events, visits and meetings 

• Contribute to the ongoing development and execution of The Childhood Trust’s strategic goals. 

The skills we are looking for: 

• Excellent communication and social skills to communicate with different audiences, including at Senior level
• Partnership management experience, ideally in a corporate enviroment 
• A passion to support children living in poverty and the mission of the Childhood Trust
• Track record in securing income 
• Great presentation and negotiation skills
• A proven ability to establish long-term relationships with partners and businesses
• Experience and ability to lead projects and manage project groups. 
• Ability to spot opportunities, identify partners' needs and drivers and match these with the stretegic priorities of the Childhood Trust.
• Ability to work autonomously and have an appetite for continuous improvement.

The Digital Marketing Officer will play an important part in Cure Parkinson’s continued ambitious growth. Joining us at an exciting time for the charity, you would be part of a small but dynamic team with the opportunity to develop and make your own mark.

3. Day to day monitoring of CP social media platforms to respond to supporters, identify influencers, and engage in conversations where relevant to CP
4. Working closely with colleagues in design, fundraising and research to develop visual assets for use on social media.
5. Writing and uploading news stories and information materials to the charity website and social media platforms.
6. Support on the implementation of a digital strategy for the organisation.
7. Undertaking analysis and feedback to provide insight into social media, website and email performance
8. Assisting with the creation of ad-hoc emails to supporters.
9. Working closely with the wider Marketing team to ensure a joined up, consistent approach.
10. Assisting with the updating and maintaining of the charity’s database.

Job Description: Fundraiser Manager 

Reports to: Chief Executive

Location: Woking, Surrey (Hybrid)

Hours of work: Full-time: 35 hours per week.

(For the right candidate, part-time hours would be considered).

Full-time salary: £40k per annum

The role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Community/Events fundraiser, who has a passion for the cause of homelessness. You will continue to build a sustainable Events & Community fundraising programme. The role will involve building relationships with donors and fundraisers to increase income from corporates, individuals, and legacies. 

This role plays a pivotal role in growing York Road Project’s voluntary income as well as raising awareness and brand recognition in our local area. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Chief Executive and Fundraising sub-committee to develop and implement a fundraising strategy and execution plan that meet the organisation's income targets.

• Support the Chief Executive in building relationships with major donors.

• Proactively seek out and develop new funding opportunities, with an emphasis on chasing opportunities for long-term and unrestricted income. 

• Develop a York Road Project annual fundraising event/campaign, overseeing all administrative tasks, such as mailing list preparation, guest lists, and distribution on campaign items.

• Promote ‘challenge events’ (such as the Surrey Half Marathon) and encourage supporters to take part.

• Encourage supporters to leave legacies in their wills to support the work of the organisation.

• Collaborate with other colleagues and trustees to ensure a coordinated approach to fundraising.

• Accurately record and manage donor data, keeping records up-to-date and GDPR compliant.

• Promote the idea of regular donations to our ad-hoc donors.

• Stay current on fundraising trends and techniques, act as the charity’s thought-leading expert, and drive these trends and techniques into the organisation's fundraising activities.

• Ensure that all fundraising activities comply with relevant regulation and ethical 

standards; for example, The Fundraising Regulator, The Charity Commission etc.

• Create marketing and promotional material in accordance with York Road Project branding, to support fundraising activities as required.

• Develop a volunteer program to enhance community involvement and contribute to the achievement of organisational objectives. These activities will be fundraising related, in order to engage local businesses.

• Identify opportunities to develop funding support from companies and organisations to elicit support (at local, regional, and national levels).

• Manage low risk press releases and enquiries.

• Create content for social media (and other digital channels) while always ensuring consistency in line with brand guidelines. 

• Plan and drive digital campaigns including Small Charity Week and World Homeless Day.

We’re recruiting a part time Marketing and Communications Manager to support the development, implementation and management of innovative marketing campaigns to drive awareness, interest, and income across all areas of our work.

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (Mat Cover)

Hours: 28 hours per week 

Salary: £31,196.80 pro rata (based on FTE of £38,996)

Location: Hybrid – FSRH London office (London Bridge) and home working.

Marketing management

• Supporting our Head of Marketing to develop cross-organisation marketing plans to help us achieve our member retention objectives and reach new audiences.
• Leading projects with our Members Services Team, Education and Training, and External Affairs teams to understand the market and customer need for our products and services.

Marketing activities

• Lead on the delivery of effective marketing plans for a range of audiences and outputs, including but not limited to our online and in-person events, qualifications, training and assessments, and clinical guidance, guidelines and standards.
• Write engaging copy for both online and offline marketing collateral – including news stories, blogs, email communications, print and digital adverts, and social media.
• Segment and tailor marketing communications for a range of audiences by professional role, membership type, and level of involvement with us.
• Manage regular email communications with our registered users (those who express an interest in us) and candidates (those currently learning with us) to support their journey towards becoming a member.
• Develop and manage the marketing activities for our core member publication The British Medical Journal in Sexual and Reproductive Health (BMJ SRH)
• Proactively manage a content calendar to help keep track of our range of communications.
• Collaborate with our Digital Marketing Officer to repurpose content from our website and campaign publications for use on social media.
• Ensure all communications practices are GDPR compliant.

Marketing intelligence

• Support the Head of Marketing with desk-based research / activities to help us better understand and engage with newer audiences (e.g., physician associates, pharmacists).
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using a range of tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM reports, Google Data Studio), working closely with our Digital Content Manager and Data Manager.
• Proactively look at ways to improve the overall effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data and insights to inform this.
• Track and monitor email campaign effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements, most notably during our annual member renewals campaign.

Brand management

• Champion our FSRH values, brand guidelines and style guide, supporting the Head of Marketing to keep our templates and materials up-to-date and implemented correctly.
• Support the development of event specific content for in-person and online events, and occasionally assist as an FSRH representative.
• Produce slides for our CEO / Officers where needed to help share information about FSRH’s work.

You will have experience:

• Developing and delivering successful and multichannel marketing and communications plans
• using email marketing tools and segmenting communications to suit specific audiences
• working across social media platforms and creating tailored content
• using data to understand audiences, measure the success of campaigns and improve effectiveness
• an understanding of GDPR and how it is applied in practice
• copywriting skills for a variety of audiences on different communications channels, both online and offline
• with tools such as Mailchimp, Hootsuite, website content management systems (CMS) and Google Analytics
• Microsoft office skills with a knowledge of Office 365
• positive communication skills, both written and verbal with great attention to detail and proof-reading abilities
• the ability to work flexibly to respond to changing priorities.
• interest in sexual and reproductive healthcare (SRH)
