An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experience Business Development Marketing professional to join our team.
The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with acquired brain injury, providing expert rehabilitation, education, therapy and care at our national specialist centre in Tadworth, and to children and their families across the UK, via our Community Rehabilitation Service. We are the largest centre commissioned by NHS England for Category A neurorehabilitation.
This role is pivotal in leading on developing commissioning and referral relationships with external stakeholders, whilst driving development of services and marketing activities to build and promote new business, increase income, strengthen pipelines, and position The Children's Trust as the provider of choice for children with acquired brain injury and neurodisability.
You’ll work alongside a cross-organisational team to promote our services to external stakeholders, in particular managing our key account plan to influence, maximise referrals and income generating opportunities. Key to this is cultivating and maintaining relationships with stakeholders including hospital-based clinicians, commissioners at both integrated care boards and local authorities, with professionals with NHS England at a regional and national levels, embassies, medico-legal professionals including case managers and lawyers.
To underpin this, you’ll create, implement and review services-related multi-channel marketing activity, both on and off-line, including development and oversight of our professionals’ events programme, ensuring all activity aligns to, is integrated and works towards delivering our strategic objectives.
You will have the opportunity to develop and implement your expertise in an environment that is focused on the highest clinical and quality standards. You will work in a 24-acre site which is unusual in its beautiful historic nature, as it is unique in its state-of-the-art facilities including robotic technology and virtual reality.

Role Requirements
You’ll play a key and central role in driving promotion of our services, and this requires a balanced mix of both business development and marketing skills, knowledge and experience in a complex, services environment. You’ll be comfortable with matrix working, recognising the importance of this role in working across the organisation to drive referral generating activity.
To succeed in this high profile and diverse role, you must demonstrate:
- Building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of external stakeholders, including commissioning bodies such as NHS England, Integrated Care Boards, Local Authorities.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Marketing of services, preferably within healthcare/social care sector.
- Managing and reporting on development of services and associated marketing activities, in a structured way.
- Knowledge of commissioning landscapes, within healthcare/social care sector.
- Proven self-starter and excellent track record in development of services, including driving referrals, building pathways and promoting service.

We're looking for a visionary leader to co-lead our work in England and at Westminster. Working alongside another Head of England & Westminster (mat leave cover), you'll oversee a team that:
- Works in partnership with others to ensure children and families have the day to day support they need – whether that's access to their local baby bank, a grant from Save the Children to help them get by, or support from organisations that can help them
- Campaign for an end to child poverty alongside children, young people and their families – regionally, nationally, and on reserved issues that affect children across the UK
You'll build a high-performing England & Westminster team, oversee our national influencing and hold senior stakeholder relationships, proactively secure funding for our work in England, and ensure our work in communities is impactful and connected to our influencing. - Support with developing the quality of services and projects delivered by Coram Voice to children and young people. This includes under Coram Voice’s Disability Outreach Project. It is an exciting time to join this project, which has recently expanded to include educational advocacy in addition to social care focused advocacy.
- You will support in the promotion of good practice across both Coram Voice and external organisations, building equitable and inclusive practice across the sector for children and young people with disabilities.
Our advocates will have relevant experience with children and young people, and may hold a suitable Advocacy Qualification. We are recruiting two Trainee Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners to join our Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Team at YMCA East Surrey.
Trainee Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners (CWPs) will be expected to integrate into YMCA East Surrey’s Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health (EWMH) team and to support all early intervention work. You will assess and deliver (under supervision), outcome focused, evidence-based interventions to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
This Trainee Children's Wellbeing Practitioner role includes completion of the Child Wellbeing Practice Postgraduate or Graduate level Diploma run by the University of
Sussex, which follows the nationally agreed curriculum to qualify as a Children's Wellbeing Practitioner.
The post holder must have experience of working with children, young people and families with multiple and/or complex needs and hold a minimum qualification equivalent to a NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field. In addition, the successful candidate must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
For the Level 6 (Graduate Diploma) the minimum level would be 3 x A-levels with grades of AAB - BBB (BBC if meet the criteria for contextual offer), or an equivalent qualification such as NVQ level 3 or above, or equivalent experience (and proven ability to work at graduate level). Evidence of experience of working with children and young people.
For the Level 7 (Post-graduate Diploma) the minimum requirement is a Graduate Degree at 2:2, NVQ level 6 or above in Health Care or equivalent experience (and proven ability to work at post-graduate level)

· Attend and fulfil all the requirements of the training element of the post including practical, academic and practice-based assessments.
· As well as attendance at the University for training, fulfil private study requirements to enhance learning and prepare assignments for examination - recommendation is 150 hours of study for each of the 8 modules, which includes the teaching days.
· Assess and integrate issues relating to transitions, education and training/employment into the overall therapeutic process.

About the Role

The Portfolio & Risk Team manages the SCUK International Restricted Portfolio, supporting Country Offices and local partners in achieving strategic goals. They collaborate closely with Country Offices and other members, offering expertise in programme management, donor compliance, and risk management. Their responsibilities include ensuring compliance, quality assurance, and addressing sensitive issues such as fraud, safeguarding, and safety/security concerns. Key Accountabilities
The Portfolio Manager for West and Central Africa (WCA) is responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of Save the Children UK's portfolio across multiple Country Offices in the region. This includes providing direct management support to Country Offices, ensuring compliance with donor requirements, and supporting the effective delivery of programmes and partnerships.
