Job Purpose
Our ‘Direct Work’ is central to the organisation, and we are looking to recruit 2 new Women’s Support Workers. Taking a woman-centred approach, your role will be to provide phone-based holistic support for women with complex needs who want support or to exit the sex industry.
We are looking for someone with energy, motivation and experience of working with vulnerable adults; someone who a highly developed sense of self-awareness who can work in a gender and trauma informed way.
This role will be part of a small team of support workers, and a service manager, who deliver a call and email-based case work system. You will have frontline experience of working with individuals who experience multiple disadvantage. This might be in the VAWG sector, domestic abuse, substance misuse, mental health or counselling or direct experience of women in the sex industry. You will have a good understanding of working with vulnerable people and be aware of the need and processes around Safeguarding adults and children.

We deliver trauma-informed, person-centred support, provide training, and create resources and reports informed by research, lived experience, and practitioner experience.

The role

• Develop, deliver, evaluate and refresh communications approaches for the Institute in consultation with the Executive Director.

The Transforming Peace & Security Campaigner will lead Medact’s campaigning for healthcare spaces which truly centre health and health justice, not surveillance, profiling and policing, in addition to providing ongoing strategic support to members organising against war and nuclear threat.
This role will lead on our strategic priority area of Ending State Violence. The campaigner will implement campaign strategy focused on targeted organising to build coalitions and solidarity with marginalised communities, continuing our campaign against the Prevent duty in health, and supporting our Medact Abolitionist Approaches to Health Group. They’ll also work with our established Nuclear Weapons group to promote disarmament and encourage investment in nonviolent responses to conflict. The role involves maintaining and deepening existing partnerships with external organisations, grassroots groups and institutions.

We will work alongside hospital staff to proactively identify vulnerable young people and help them to access and engage the support they need to prevent any potential escalation of violence and reduce the risk of repeat victimisation or exploitation.
About this key role
You will be embedded in the trauma team, working closely with clinicians and hospital staff to provide support for young people admitted to the Major Trauma Centre right through to their discharge back into the community, including access to appropriate longer-term support. You will be expected to identify and provide a comprehensive and holistic assessment, advice, referral and support service to young victims of violence people, exploring innovative and effective ways of supporting them which will reduce their risk of re-victimisation.
You will produce support and risk management plans based on your assessments, promoting inter-agency collaboration in the assessment and planning process, and develop and maintain relationships with partner agencies. We will also count on you to deliver a holistic support service, working solo or with colleagues as the situation dictates, providing a practical service that will include social and housing support, accompanying to appointments, benefits work, debt advice, liaising with utilities, appearing in court, DIY and cleaning.

We are looking for an experienced, proactive, flexible, and knowledgeable Housing Support Worker to join our Housing Team. In this role, you will assess young people referred to the service and determine their suitability for New Horizon's Accommodation Pathway or private rented accommodation. You will provide high-quality, person-centred support to young people living within our accommodation projects, helping them to build the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes. You will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload across multiple accommodation schemes, completing assessments, developing support plans, and working closely with young people to identify and secure appropriate move-on options into independent living in a timely manner. The role requires effective partnership working with internal teams, local authorities, landlords, and other external agencies to ensure young people receive coordinated and holistic support.
This is a varied and rewarding role requiring excellent communication, sound professional judgement, and the ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining accurate records and delivering a high standard of service.

The Role:
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Engagement, you will lead, develop and inspire a dedicated fundraising team, creating a high-performance culture that delivers ambitious income targets across a diverse portfolio.
This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role. You will be responsible for developing and delivering the hospice's fundraising strategy, identifying new opportunities for growth, and personally supporting key relationships and fundraising initiatives. You will work closely with senior colleagues, trustees and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports to the Board on fundraising performance, opportunities and risks.

Supporter Engagement Administrator
Salary: £25,112.50 per annum

East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) is a regional charity providing life-saving care across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and beyond. With two state of the art helicopters and a fleet of critical care cars, our crew of critical care paramedics and specialist doctors bring their advanced skills, equipment and medicine to the scene of the incident in the fastest time possible.
The Supporter Engagement Team is the first point of contact for all our supporters and is a key function in our fundraising team. As Supporter Engagement Administrator, you will deliver excellent customer service, ensuring that all supporters are engaged with, receive exceptional supporter care and are encouraged to support us further.
You will ensure that information is captured, income is processed, thanked and banked in the best way possible, and supporters are stewarded effectively. You will continually identify ways to improve processes and procedures to ensure all our donors and supporters have a great experience supporting EAAA.
An excellent communicator with experience working within a customer service environment, you will be able to quickly form good working relationships and understanding with colleagues and supporters. You will demonstrate strong IT skills, including experience of using a CRM database and Microsoft Office.
