We are seeking experienced and highly motivated staff members for our Complex Needs Accommodation Service. The role will require you to work alongside the Regional Services Manager , to provide a high level of support to these clients at our Ashley Road and Milton House projects.
You will be in a specialist role designed to work with people with complex support needs relating to: mental ill health, physical health & substance use needs. You will also play a key part in reducing the risk of re-offending, liaising with external professionals, preventing homelessness and promoting the independence and social inclusion of these clients.
The working rota for this post is Monday - Friday. (no weekend shifts) and a mixture of earlies (8am - 3.30pm) & lates (3pm - 10.30pm)
About you:
- Previous experience of working with people with complex support needs.
- Ability to manage a caseload and deliver positive outcomes utilising your knowledge of the health, social care and criminal justice sector.
- A flexible, innovative and creative approach to working with a sometimes hard to engage and challenging client group, is also required.

We are looking for an experienced Youth Worker, to deliver training sessions and projects to young people through youth centres, community groups, schools, secure units and alternative provisions across South Wales and Bristol (including surrounding areas) and to ensure our programmes are fit for the future.
We are an award-winning national charity which trains over 9,000 young people affected by street violence each year in emergency first-aid through a team of 300 healthcare volunteers and youth workers. We empower young people with the skills to become part of the solution to violence by developing the skills and confidence to save lives and increasing their understanding of the medical and psychological consequences of violence.
As the StreetDoctors Youth Worker in the Region, you will deliver high quality training, develop new partnerships and maintain positive relationships.
The key areas of focus include:

To deliver training sessions to young people and partners to required quantity and quality, and support the development, testing and implementation of new training content.

To create, develop and maintain partnerships with a range of organisations including, funders, commissioners, community organisations, criminal justice organisations, education providers and youth organisations.

To support the management of volunteers and provide the best volunteering experience possible.

About this role…
Thames Reach’s Outreach teams operate across London and helps those who are rough sleeping to find routes away from the street. The teams respond to referrals and work flexibly to reach London’s most vulnerable. Individuals are assessed to identify their support needs and support plans are created, including work to obtain identification, access health services and refer to other specialist agencies, including those with immigration issues.
We are looking for an Assistant Support Workers to join the Street Outreach Rough Sleepers Team
Thames Reach welcomes applications from people with transferable skills.
You will:
- Complete outreach shifts, providing a rapid response to referrals for people who are rough sleeping in the borough
- Work alongside senior colleagues to identify the fastest and most appropriate route away from the streets for the people that we are working with
- Provide direct support to people who are found rough sleeping to enable them to move away from the streets and into accommodation
- Maintain and support relationships with partner agencies
- Accurately record all work completed within given timeframes
To succeed as the Assistant Support Worker, you will have:
- A strong commitment to providing a high standard of service
- An understanding of homelessness which can be based on your professional work, voluntary experience or personal experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills

We have an exciting new role as a Senior PBS (Positive Behaviour Support) Practitioner within the Integrated Services team that comprises of a dynamic team of Occupational Therapists, PBS Practitioners and Speech and Language Therapists, working in our education settings.
As a Senior PBS Practitioner, you will be passionate about improving the quality of life of autistic children and young people working with the transdisciplinary team to improve outcomes for children and young people. You will achieve this through providing high quality PBS advice and support across the tiers of support (universal, targeted and specialist). You'll lead on PBS essentials training across the whole school, whilst line managing 2 PBS Practitioners. You will conduct risk assessments of challenging behaviour and devise and implement PBS plans, providing coaching and support to class teams to optimise fidelity.
We are looking for and individual who:
- Has or is working towards a level 5 PBS qualification (or relevant alternative)
- Is skilful in the use of functional assessment and intervention
- Manages a complex caseload an prioritises and delegates effectively
- Has advanced skills in building and maintaining positive relationships with children and young people, professionals and parents/carers.

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of families affected by domestic/sexual abuse. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing holistic support to mothers, children, and young people (CYP) during their time in refuge and as they transition into the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and Delivering Services:
- Provide personalised 1:1 family support services to families residing in the refuge, addressing the impact of domestic/sexual abuse on the family unit.
- Collaborate in planning and delivering activities tailored to parents and CYP, including educational, leisure, and therapeutic services.
- Facilitate the strengthening of parent-child relationships and empower families to enhance their resilience.
Assessment and Risk Management:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of families' needs and risks, utilising organisational assessment tools and evaluation methods.
- Assess and promote parenting skills and children's needs while supporting safety planning for families.
- Manage safeguarding incidents related to children in the refuge, liaising with relevant authorities as necessary.
Development of Early Years/Holiday Play Schemes:
- Create inclusive and engaging play environments and sessions for CYP within the refuge.
- Contribute to fundraising efforts to sustain and expand play schemes.
- Provide supervision and guidance to volunteers and sessional workers involved in play sessions.
Integrated Working and Partnership:
- Collaborate proactively with internal and external services to ensure holistic support for service users.
- Facilitate access to relevant services for CYP with additional needs, fostering partnerships with local institutions.
- Maintain accurate records of service users and utilize Solace's electronic database effectively.
- Engage in fundraising activities and procurement of donations for the benefit of CYP in refuge.
Corporate Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to organisational policies and procedures.
- Promote awareness and integration of Equality & Diversity policies within the community.
- Uphold the service user voice in all aspects of service delivery and development.
- Attend relevant meetings and training sessions.
