About the Service
Operating 365 days per week in Oxford and Banbury, Safe Haven diverts people from attending the Emergency Department when they do not need clinical support. The Safe Haven model offers short-term, non-clinical crisis support in an empowering, empathetic, person-centred way.
Oxfordshire Mind’s supported housing service offers accommodation with support in Oxford City and in West and South Oxfordshire for residents with severe and enduring mental health problems who would struggle to live independently.

The role will oversee the development and implementation of the fundraising strategy and funding pipeline. A creative self-starter who will support the service and look for innovative solutions to support clients with complex needs. You are confident professional relationship builder with have good awareness of Safeguarding procedures. Strong Administration skills and understanding of compliant behaviours also, experience of supporting. With good knowledge of the criminal justice system and awareness of other support provisions within the Hampshire area.

About the role:
As an experienced manager with a proven track record of leadership in providing services in prisons and possibly, to women in contact with the Criminal Justice System you will work collaboratively with other partner organisations, criminal justice services, Ministry of Justice and HMPPS. You will manage the prisons advocacy services and teams for unsentenced and sentenced women within the custodial settings at HMP Peterborough and HMP Bronzefield. You will have a great understanding of the prison systems and regime including some of the challenges faced.
You will build and maintain key relationships, partnerships and contracts with relevant partners and funders, together with the Head of Criminal Justice Services and Director of Criminal Justice Services.
You will be an inspirational leader, responsible for recruiting, developing and managing a team and will be responsible for coordinating, reporting, and the delivery of the related services as commissioned by the Ministry of Justice. You will be accountable for managing your teams safely and securely whilst carrying out all activities within the prison setting.
A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential.

You will be working in a team of Community Keyworkers in your region. You will be undertaking all initial triage assessments and processing these on the database and allocating these to each Keyworker. The Keyworkers will provide one to one community support to women with a variety of needs simultaneously and will be co-located with partner organisations in their region.
