Reports to: Director of Recruitment

Direct reports: N/a 

Location: Flexible, with monthly co-working days in London and additional stakeholder meetings as required. 

Salary: £25800 FTE equivalent 

Hours: Part time; 15 hours a week, Monday – Friday (3 hours consecutively per day, ideally 10.00am – 1.00pm). 

Contract: Fixed Term 6 months

Start Date: ASAP 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

Role overview 

Our Recruitment Team works closely with experienced professionals, helping them navigate a life-changing move into teaching and feel part of the Now Teach community from day one. 

As Recruitment Co-Ordinator will play a critical role in providing strong administrative support to the Recruitment Team in helping experienced professionals successfully transition into teaching, building high-quality pipelines of career changers who can make a lasting impact in schools and on pupils’ outcomes. 

In this role, success means providing an exceptional Now Teach experience ensuring all candidates are contacted within 48 hours, pre-screened accurately, consultations scheduled within desired timeframes, that accurate CRM data is maintained and that candidates feel supported and engaged throughout the early stages of our recruitment process. 

The role is highly candidate-facing and predominantly phone based, with much of your work time spent speaking directly with candidates to build relationships, provide advice, answer questions and ensure they receive a responsive, supportive experience from their first interaction with Now Teach. 

In this role you will:  

Candidate Recruitment and Pipeline Management 

  • Own and deliver initial contact converting candidates from Expression of Interest to Consultation, delivering expert advice, guidance and successfully exciting candidates with our offer to continue their career change with Now Teach. 

  • Identify and progress high-potential Network candidates positioning Now Teach as a core part of their career-change journey into teaching.

Candidate Experience and Engagement 

  • Ensure joined-up communication to Now Teachers and a shared understanding of what recruiting to the Network means in practice, ensuring key messages and approaches are embedded. 

  • Manage shared recruitment inboxes effectively delivering responsive and high-quality communication that creates a positive candidate experience and reflects the organisation's values. 

  • Meeting our ideal turn around target of 48 hours from registration to outcome or progressing with next steps.

  • Support the planning and delivery of recruitment events, ensuring participants receive timely communications, event materials and a positive, professional experience. 

Data, Systems and Continuous Improvement 

  • Maintain accurate CRM data (Salesforce) to enable reliable reporting and decision making. 

  • Use insight data from Salesforce and Active Campaign to drive continuous improvement in communications to engage and progress your pipeline of candidates. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (MEASURED AND REVIEWED REGULARLY): 

You will be accountable for delivering against the following: 

Candidate Recruitment and Pipeline Management 

  • Accurate pre-screen decisions for ITT and Now Teach entry criteria 

  • Timely scheduling of consultations

Candidate Experience and Engagement 

  • Candidate feedback scores on recruitment support and guidance (NPS) 

Data, Systems and Continuous Improvement 

  • CRM data accuracy/completeness

  • Timely pipeline updates and reporting

PERSON SPECFICIATION 

Who you are (qualities/values) 

  • Proven ability to own a fast paced, dynamic pipeline from end-to-end (either a sales or recruitment pipeline, or other, transferable experience) and deliver a timely turnaround on actions and applicant follow-up, ideally within 48 hours. 

  • You’ll be confident and comfortable working predominantly by phone, using calls as a key tool to build relationships, provide advice, overcome barriers and move applicants through the pipeline. 

  • You’ll be comfortable and confident in working to ambitious individual and team targets as standard.

  • You’ll have a strong coaching capability, demonstrating confidence in handling complex career decisions, displaying a high level of emotional intelligence. 

  • Proven ability to establish effective relationships with people from all backgrounds (including prospective applicants and other members of the team).

  • Excellent persuasive oral and written communication skills; the ability to effectively tailor messaging to individual applicants resulting in securing a tangible outcome.

  • You’ll be able to overcome challenges and show resilience.

What you will need to succeed in this role (experience/qualifications) 

  • Experience in sales, recruitment, or another fast-paced environment requiring regular, day-to-day communication with candidates or customers. 

  • A genuine interest in education and building relationships with applicants. 

  • Strong team working skills; communicating with colleagues across the organisation. 

  • Experience using CRM systems and ability to develop knowledge and proficiency of Now Teach’s relationship management system. Ideally confident in interpreting data from CRM systems to navigate towards outcomes.

  • Comfortable with a wide range of digital platforms, for example, Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office. 

  • Strong working knowledge of the initial teacher training, early career, and education landscape would be advantageous.
