Main Purpose of Job
The HR Advisor will play a key role in ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures, fostering positive employee relations, and contributing to the organisation's overall success. You will be responsible for preparing the monthly payroll processes and will lead on the benefits administration (including pensions) and collaborate with our benefits provider to ensure member benefits are processed correctly.

Purpose of role
MAP is in a period of growth and rapid development, and as such, the incoming Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for the financial strategy and management of MAP and for the leadership of operational areas to help deliver the organisation’s mission and strategic goals. The COO provides support to the CEO in areas of governance, legal and risk management and may deputise for the CEO as required.
Responsibilities
Strategy, vision and leadership
- Be accountable to the CEO and Board in the areas of finance, technology, risk and compliance, supply chain and logistics, and safety and security.
- Advise the CEO and SMT on financial planning, legal, governance and related policy matters.
- Work closely with SMT colleagues to ensure that appropriate processes and systems are in place across the organisation, including delivery against KPIs.
- Serve as the management liaison to the Finance & Operations Committee, Audit Risk & Governance Committee and, where required, to the Board of Trustees; effectively communicate and present critical financial and operational matters at governance meetings.
- Ensure robust, secure and scalable IT systems and infrastructure. Lead on information governance & data protection and identify and drive opportunities for digital transformation.

- Build a culture of continuous improvement in operations and ensure appropriate and timely action to address operational risks when they arise.
- Provide analytical support to the CEO and SMT including development of internal management reporting capabilities.

Person specification
- Recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACA) or post-graduate business degree mandatory.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior management role ideally with in-house financial management experience gained in a high-growth organisation.
- Experience either as an employee or board member of a non-profit organisation; must be familiar with non-profit finance and accounting regulations.
- Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organisational change and development within a growing organisation.
- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Conservation Officer - Mourne Park on a fixed term contract until December 2029 to support the work on the development and delivery of The National Lottery Heritage Funded project at Mourne Park.
The Role:
• This is a key role in The National Lottery Heritage Funded project at Mourne Park. The Conservation Officer will be required to work on the development and delivery of woodland creation and restoration operations, natural and built heritage and countryside access projects and local habitat auditing and assessment programmes.
• The role will be responsible for providing advice and assessments to landowners who wish to participate on the woodland creation or restoration element of the project and continually monitor work undertaken to ensure successful implementation.
• You will co-ordinate and oversee implementation work on heritage conservation projects identified by the project, including the writing of management plans when required.
• You are responsible for fostering good relations with partners, contractors, interested organisations and individuals, local people, visitors and the media. Identifying, reviewing and meeting with potential partners who could assist the project to meet its objectives and whose objectives could be assisted by the project.
• This role is based in Mourne Park, Northern Ireland and will require the successful candidate to travel to site and around Northern Ireland as required.
• This role is a funded fixed term role until December 2029.
• This role will require an enhanced DBS check as part of our pre-employment checks.

Purpose of the job
This role is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and driven individual to join the UK Youth Network Delivery Department. The Summer Jobs Programme is the largest programme in UK Youth’s portfolio. Funded until the end of 2026, the programme is currently operating in its second year. The purpose of this role is to identify and secure employment placements, including those that generate some income, for The Summer Jobs Programme as well as overseeing the employer journey from start to end. Working closely with the Summer Jobs Programme Manager, the Employer Engagement Manager has key input into the work experience aspect of the programme.
The Summer Jobs Programme is a paid employment initiative running from July to September 2025 and 2026, supporting vulnerable young people in England and Wales. It aims to reduce youth violence and improve future engagement in education, training, and work by removing barriers to employment and offering structured, empowering opportunities. Young people begin with a one-week pre-employment training course, followed by a five-week job placement. Throughout, they’re supported by both a local youth worker and an employer-based supervisor to ensure they receive consistent guidance.
Funded by the Youth Endowment Fund and Youth Futures Foundation, the programme launched in 2024 with over 400 participants and has expanded in 2025. A built-in Randomised Control Trial (RCT) will assess its impact on youth violence and long-term outcomes. Key responsibilities
Employer recruitment and income generation
- Work closely with the Communications Team and Corporate Partnerships Team to develop and implement an employer recruitment strategy for the final year of the Summer Jobs Programme, integrating both local and national approaches.
Employer training and management
- Work with the Summer Jobs Programme Manager and the CRM Manager to refine and complete the development of the programme’s CRM system.

The Impact Manager will design and implement measurement systems that track progress against our strategic themes while building a stronger evidence base for the youth sector across the borough. Open Door is a young people’s mental health charity that has been based in Haringey, North London for 49 years. It aims to improve mental health and life-chances of young people. We provide an ‘Open Door’ to free, high quality psychological therapy to 12–24-year-olds delivered by experienced and highly trained clinicians. We also support parents and carers, struggling with the issues their children face. We aim for access to be simple and over half of those we support, self-refer. Many young people who come to us have significant mental health difficulties and have faced barriers to services. Open Door delivers evidence informed practice and has been commended for our ambitious approach to outcome driven care.
Open Door received national recognition for impact, as a 2024 finalist for Health Service Journal (HSJ) Award for Reducing Inequality and Improving Outcomes for Children and Young People Open Door is community embedded, integrated into the local mental health infrastructure, commissioned by North Central London Integrated Care Board and part of the Haringey Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service single-point-of-access. We are seeking a driven and experienced manager to oversee the operational side of our Liverpool Centre. This is a pivotal role within the team which focuses on coordinating activity across the service to ensure the safe and effective delivery of our intervention.
The successful candidate will manage the day to day running of the James’ Place centre, with oversight from the Liverpool Head of Centre. You will manage the centre environment through both resource management and by influencing and driving local culture. The Centre Manager is responsible for line management of the Clinical Administrators and overseeing the processing of referrals to the service, ensuring men coming to James’ Place are welcomed warmly, within the expected timeframe and according to our values.
This role requires someone with excellent organisational, problem-solving and interpersonal skills who can work hands-on in a busy and potentially challenging environment. You will be collaborative and work closely with the local team and wider charity outside the Liverpool centre to ensure we have consistent, strong, and effective systems in place. This would include other Centre Managers in other James’ Place centres in the UK, the Senior Management Team, and potentially trustees.
We are looking for a forward thinking and proactive individual with experience of both people and operational management. Your management and administrative skills will be highly valued in sustaining the clinical operations of James’ Place.
