We’re looking for a detail-orientated People and Culture Administrator to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of our People and Culture function. This new but vital role is responsible for managing day‑to‑day administrative activities, maintaining accurate and compliant employee records and delivering high‑quality support to employees and
managers.

The role is primarily based at the charity office at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, with the requirement to also work from the charity office at Birmingham Women’s Hospital alongside some remote and out of hours working.

As the first point of contact for all People (HR)‑related queries a strong, up‑to‑date
understanding of employment law is essential to provide clear guidance and ensure a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities include:
• Providing comprehensive administrative support to the People and Culture Manager
across all stages of the employee life-cycle, acting as the first point of contact for
HR‑related queries and ensuring employee records are accurate, up-to-date and
compliant with data protection requirements.
• Maintaining HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and contributing to ongoing system
improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience.
• Supporting the People and Culture Manager by managing employee payroll queries
and updating the payroll system with salary changes, increments, annual leave, work
patterns and other relevant information.
• Providing guidance to staff on self‑service functions, ensuring the HR system is fully
utilised across the charity and all employee data remains accurate and up-to-date.
• Ensuring all payroll instructions are prepared and logged in time for the monthly payroll
by gathering and verifying relevant employee information.
• Coordinating the full onboarding process for new starters, including preparing contracts
and offer letters, completing all pre‑employment checks and ensuring a smooth and
welcoming introduction to the organisation.
• Coordinating inductions for new starters in partnership with managers, ensuring a
positive and engaging onboarding experience including all required training and learning
areas.
• Leading the coordination of training sessions, working closely with the People and
Culture Manager to ensure effective planning and delivery.
• Managing all administrative aspects of the recruitment process, including preparing
recruitment documents, organising recruitment timelines, drafting and posting job
adverts, logging applications and supporting the smooth delivery of recruitment
campaigns.
• Supporting and driving People Team projects, events and continuous improvement
initiatives, contributing to a positive and meaningful impact across the charity.

This exciting new role offers the right candidate the opportunity to lead LBWP's programmes and services for Black and minoritised, i.e. Global Majority, women and children who are survivors of domestic violence and abuse. Essential skilss and experience include:

• Senior management experience within the voluntary, community, or public sector
• Proven experience of simultaneously managing complex, multi- programme delivery 
• Good understanding of specialist domestic violence and abuse services that support the specific needs of Global Majority women and their children
• Experience of working as part of a senior management team and working collaboratively to develop organisational strategy and operational plans
• Experience of managing and supporting line managers and multidisciplinary teams
• Experience of managing project budgets, reviewing management accounts and identifying issues with internal systems to improve them

You will also lead and support a small team, creating a collaborative and focused environment while ensuring delivery of high-quality, inclusive campaigning. Alongside this, you will use your political judgement and strategic thinking to identify opportunities, manage risks and ensure our work is grounded in evidence and lived experience.

We are looking for someone with a strong track record in campaigns or public affairs, who understands how to influence change within the UK health and social care landscape. Experience of partnership working and bringing organisations together to achieve shared goals would be particularly valuable.

Our client is seeking interim leadership support to ensure stability, compliance, and continuity while enabling progress on key workstreams spanning culture, operational resilience, and organisational development. This role is predominantly focussed on supporting at a day-to-day operational level rather than being heavy strategic. Key HR responsibilities include overseeing HR operations, employee relations and union engagement, immigration and Visa sponsorship, policy and compliance, culture, EDI and wellbeing. On the operations side this will include supporting with Health & Safety Leadership, facilities & asset management, IT systems & digital capability, sustainability & carbon reduction and procurement.

The successful candidate will, first and foremost, have a broad understanding of HR having led HR functions previously. You will bring strong team leadership experience having managed HR employees previously. In addition, you will bring some experience and interest in supporting wider operations. As this role will be supporting the day to day running of the organisation you will need to be someone who enjoys the cut and trust of day-to-day tactical operations rather than a predominantly strategic role.

About the role

The Head of Campaigns & Influence will lead the development and delivery of Fawcett’s campaigning strategy, ensuring our work is politically sharp, driven by women's experiences, and capable of building momentum over time.

You will work across campaigns, public affairs, digital and membership, helping ensure that our external work is joined up, strategic and effective. You will also play a key role in connecting our national influencing work with the energy, insight and experience of our members, supporters and communities.

This is a senior leadership role, reporting to the Chief Executive and contributing to wider organisational planning and decision-making. You will line manage campaigning capacity, help shape a collaborative and inclusive culture, and support Fawcett to grow its public impact over the coming years.

At the moment, the team is small, which means this role will suit someone who is comfortable leading in a hands-on way while supporting others to grow. We are now seeking a Head of Legacy Giving to lead this important area. Reporting to the Deputy Fundraising Director, Key Relationships, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for Greenpeace UK’s legacy programme, overseeing both marketing and administration to maximise future income from gifts in wills.

You will lead a small specialist team and work closely with colleagues across the organisation, as well as internationally across the Greenpeace network. The role offers the opportunity to influence both UK and global legacy strategy, contributing to a shared ambition for growth across multiple markets.

As Head of Legacy Giving, you will:

• Develop and deliver Greenpeace UK’s legacy giving strategy, driving growth in both pledged and realised income
• Lead and integrate legacy marketing and administration, ensuring a seamless and high-performing programme
• Manage and develop a team of two – Senior Legacy Marketing Officer, Legacy Case Manager – fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement
• Work across fundraising, campaigns and communications to embed legacy giving within supporter journeys and organisational priorities
• Identify and drive opportunities to grow legacy income, including within high-value and blended giving approaches
• Oversee legacy casework and administration, ensuring excellent supporter care, compliance and effective income realisation
• Build relationships with high-value pledgers, prospects and executors, supporting long-term engagement and stewardship
• Represent Greenpeace UK internationally, sharing best practice and supporting global legacy growth ambitions

Essential skills and experience:

• Full-spectrum legacy fundraising experience, across both legacy marketing and legacy administration
• Ability to operate at Head-level, including experience of developing and delivering strategy, while remaining close to delivery
• Line management experience with ability to lead and motivate teams, building capability and performance
• Budget experience must include managing similar levels of investment (six-figures+)
• Strong understanding of the UK legacy market, trends and best practice
• Experience of working across teams and influencing stakeholders to deliver shared outcomes
• Confidence operating at a senior level within a complex, multi-stakeholder organisation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a wide range of audiences
