Age UK's forward-thinking Service & Business Improvement Team are recruiting for an exciting role which supports service development and improvement across the Age UK Network and Age UK National Services.
The successful Service Development & Improvement Advisor will provide direct support, developing and co-ordinating resources for service development and demonstrate a continuous improvement approach to services across the Charity.
Undertaking in-depth service reviews with the Age UK Network across a wide range of services, including CQC registered services, you will upskill colleagues across the Network Support Division in service development, improvement techniques and approaches.
We operate a hybrid working model. We offer flexibility on working from home but require the applicant to be in our central London office a minimum of one day per week. Travel costs to the London office are the responsibility of the postholder and are not covered by the charity.

This year, we’ve embarked on a bold, strategic initiative to enhance our data capabilities.
We’re aiming to improve our data use, integration and analytics to increase engagement, maximise impact and drive forward our strategic goals. Our Infrastructure Systems Manager plays a crucial role in the development, support and maintenance of these systems, implementing the tools and technology we need as well as driving the reduction of IT costs where possible.
This role is responsible for:
- Maintenance of technical infrastructure based on Microsoft technologies

Responsible for providing strategic leadership across finance and operational functions, the post holder will ensure WDC has the resources to deliver our mission, ensure WDC meets reporting and governance standards and ensure timely and efficient reporting to all levels of WDC employees, trustees and relevant external bodies and will ensure resources are deployed to maximise operational benefit. Alongside this, this new position will lead core operational functions of Supporter Services (including leadership of the CRM), facilities and IT.
