generalist advice services in Hammersmith and Fulham. We help approximately
18000 people each year with free, confidential, and impartial advice on a wide
range of issues.

Our Assessors are the first point of contact for anyone in the community that
contacts us by phone or in person. The Assessor establishes what the issue is,
ensures that all relevant information is collected, provides information and advice,
and identifies the best next steps, ensuring clients are directed to the appropriate
Citizens Advice Hammersmith and Fulham (CAHF) advice project, or external
agency.

Successful candidates will be supported by our supervisory team to develop the
skills needed to succeed and thrive in the role as well as having access to our
wealth of resources.
This role requires a passion for helping people to work through many challenging
situations.

You will make sure the service satisfies health and safety standards by following the set out cleaning schedule for the service. You will be part of a team that is achieving positive outcomes supporting vulnerable adults in their recovery.

In this role you will:

• Provide cleaning to all areas of the building including some bedrooms and communal areas.
• Complete regular inventories of materials and inform management of when items are running low so that they can be ordered.  Pass repairs in to the Housing management part of the team.
• Work to a cleaning schedule to ensure all parts of the building are cleaned on a regular basis.

Purpose of the Role

The Director of Income role is responsible for leading our income generation. Our fundraising strategy is to significantly grow and further diversify our income, with a particular focus on corporate and trading income. The postholder will coordinate our fundraising activity, lead our Outreach team and work closely with the CEO to drive forward our income generation so we can safely deliver our ambitious strategy over the next 5 years. 

In particular, the postholder will be responsible for coordinating and developing our income function, converting our strategic fundraising objectives into operational plans, managing the Head of Outreach and representing the organisation externally. However, the role is not solely governance and leadership - we need a do-er who is comfortable working in a small team and sharing responsibilities, including submitting fundraising proposals and taking responsibility for our reporting. They will work closely with the CEO, Director of Programmes, Head of Outreach and Communications and Fundraising Coordinator to ensure we are communicating our value proposition coherently and effectively to the important stakeholders that make our work possible.

We do not see this as a traditional fundraising director role - we are looking for a skilled generalist who can meet us where we are at by working confidently across Trusts and Foundations, statutory grants, corporate partnerships and traded services simultaneously. We are a small charity with 10 staff, so while we are looking for a decision-making and accountable leader, the postholder will be expected to support colleagues across the organisation. They will have a collaborateive spirit and the emotional intelligence to thrive in a small team.

About This Job

This is an exciting role within the Army Cadet Adventurous Training team responsible for ensuring all support elements are in place to facilitate the AT service for the Army Cadets and Combined Cadet Force.

The Centre for Emotional Health is recruiting for a Training Administrator to work with our friendly and nurturing team, administering The Centre for Emotional Health’s trainings and assisting with customer relationship administration.

The Centre for Emotional Health is a national charity dedicated to everyone living an emotionally healthy life. We provide training for local authorities, family hubs, prisons, schools, workplaces and communities. We advocate nationally for the importance of good emotional health. All our work, including all the training we deliver, is underpinned by The Nurturing Programme.

We are looking for an organised individual with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience of a variety of IT systems. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the administration of The Centre for Emotional Health’s trainings pre- and post-training delivery, working as part of a busy Operations and Finance Team, and assisting our Business Development and Programmes Teams with customer relation tasks. You will enjoy working collaboratively and will feel secure in managing a fast-changing, busy workload as part of a wider team.​

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate and administer all The Centre for Emotional Health trainings, overseeing bookings, venues, online training delivery, trainer, customer, and colleague liaison, and pre- and post-training documentation.
• Manage training communications and trainee feedback systems, maintaining accurate records and sharing information with customers and colleagues

Job Purpose

Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer, the post holder will be responsible for leading on quality assurance and compliance across the organisation, including managing and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standard and GDPR, allowing Ygam to achieve its strategic objectives effectively and efficiently. The role will also have responsibility for certification of programmes with CPD.

Key Tasks

• Lead and encourage a culture of continual improvement across the organisation.

• Plan, organise and complete internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO standard and identify business risks.

• Review and evaluate operational procedures to ensure continuous improvement and maintain ISO9001 certification.

• Manage the internal non-conformance process (DV8) identifying root cause, trends and corrective actions.

• Liaise with external auditors to facilitate the annual ISO audit.

• Take responsibility for Ygam’s GDPR compliance supported by the In-house Lawyer and Head of Information Systems.

• Manage policies, due diligence and consent processes, ensuring that these are adhered to across the organisation.

• Oversee Ygam’s Quality Management System (Help Hub) and ensure this is kept up to date across the organisation.

• Lead the submission for CPD certification of programmes as required.

• Prepare reports for the Senior Leadership Team and Finance, Audit and Risk Committee and attend meetings where required, including internal audit updates, results of quality audits, etc.

• Support the management of operational risk, including maintaining Ygam’s RAID Register and ensuring that this is kept up to date across the organisation.

• Line manage Ygam’s In-House Lawyer who works for the organisation 1 day per week, primarily on contracts and GDPR compliance.

Person Specification

Essential criteria:

· Significant experience of quality management, compliance and process improvement, including ISO 9001 certification.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret and implement ISO standards.

· Experience of providing an internal audit service.

· Experience of producing reports suitable for SLT and board committee level consideration.

· Excellent knowledge of GDPR compliance, including consents processes.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work with and influence colleagues at all levels across the organisation.

The Digital and Data Lead plays a key role in ensuring the Charity’s digital systems and data are effective, reliable and used to their full potential across the organisation. Working closely with the Digital and Data Manager, the post holder will lead on the day to day development, optimisation and use of the Charity’s CRM (Salesforce) and wider digital systems. The role also provides high quality support, insight and training to colleagues.

The role combines strong technical capability with the ability to translate data into meaningful insight, practical improvements and robust governance. This supports informed decision making across the Charity.
