Successful candidates for the post of Member Response Team Leader will be able to demonstrate:

The main duties of the Member Response Team Leader role include:
- Managing a team of Member Response Team Administrators

With an ability to foster a positive and collaborative working environment both remotely and in person, the Member Response Team Leader will be expected to provide clear direction, conduct appraisals, and support the professional development of their team. Strong leadership skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to motivate and engage staff are essential.
The role of Member Response Team Leader offers hybrid working with flexibility to work from home outside of peak periods. Due to key operational and democratic activities, the Member Response Team Leader will be required to attend the office daily from February to April each year and additional periods throughout the year. Outside of this period, hybrid flexibility will apply in line with team needs and organisational policy.

Main duties and responsibilities
1. People Management
- Day-to-day management of staff and workflow
- Manage work allocation, future planning and support for team/line manager
- Through the appraisal system, identify training and development needs, train or organise training for staff
- Undertake induction programmes, 1 to 1s and appraisals with staff as appropriate
- Apply the staff conduct policies e.g. discipline, grievance, capability, dignity at work and IT security policies as and when required
- Check work standards and maintain consistent quality of delegated tasks

2. Systems Management
- Develop and make best use of relevant systems e.g. office, IT, finance, etc.

About the Youth Endowment Fund
We exist to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice.
Last year, 509 children were tragically admitted to hospital after being assaulted with a knife. Every child captured in these numbers is an important member of our community and society has a duty to protect them. Even when violence doesn’t strike directly, we know that the fear of violence has a terrible effect on children’s lives.
At the Youth Endowment Fund, we are working to create lasting change. To succeed, we must build a world-leading body of knowledge on the violence that affects young people and how it can be stopped. This means producing rigorous, relevant evidence — through synthesis, data analysis and in-depth research into young people’s lives. But knowledge alone isn’t enough. We must make it accessible and actionable: showing what works, how services need to change, and how the systems around them must adapt. And we must partner with the people who can make change happen — across policy, practice and local systems — to turn evidence into impact.
About the role
We recently started a new workstream of research into why violence happens, and which children are most vulnerable. We are working with experts across research, policy and practice to investigate:
· What are the risk and protective factors for violence?
· Why does violence happen? What are the underlying causes?
· How can we use this research to improve policy and practice, and keep children safe?
We are recruiting a Senior Research Manager to lead a portfolio of projects in this workstream. This will include research exploring how predictive tools and algorithms are used to assess risk of involvement in violence and guide support decisions.This joint programme with UKRI Safer Streets Mission will investigate whether these tools can help practitioners identify people at risk accurately, safely, and fairly—and whether their use improves outcomes.
Predictive tools are structured frameworks that aim to help professionals such as police analysts or social workers assess someone’s likelihood of committing violence. They differ from “pure” professional judgement, where practitioners rely solely on their own assessment without a formal checklist or model. These tools have been used for years but are becoming both increasingly powerful and controversial as new approaches, including machine learning, emerge.
The Senior Research Manager will commission and oversee a research team to deliver two projects:
1. A systematic review of existing research on predictive tools in violence prevention.
2. Primary research on how these tools are currently used in England and Wales, including their practical and ethical implications.
The final report will assess predictive accuracy, impact, implementation, ethics, and equity. The Senior Research Manager will ensure methodological rigour and translate findings into clear, actionable guidance on whether and how these tools should be used.
The Senior Research Manager will also lead a range of related projects, such as:
· Commissioning new research into the causes, risk factors and protective factors for violence.
· Contributing to the development of accessible online tools (similar to our existing Toolkit) which make this research accessible and help decision makers target support where it is most needed.
The Senior Research Manager will be part of YEF’s Research team. The Research team is at the heart of our efforts to learn what works and put it into practice. We do this by developing the YEF’s funding strategy and creating free, highly accessible research summaries and actionable recommendations for policy makers, commissioners and practitioners. We’re a high-performing team which values intellectual rigour and getting to the truth, compassion for children, ambition about what we can achieve and humility about what we know. About the Role
As Community Support Lead: Development & Onboarding, you will lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of the Hosted Partner (HP) journey — from first contact to successful onboarding and integration into HOST’s global community.
You’ll ensure that new partners are welcomed with clarity, confidence, and care, and that HOST’s systems, materials, and communications evolve to meet their changing needs. Core Responsibilities
1. Hosted Partner Onboarding and Development

Lead the full onboarding process for new Hosted Partners (HPs), ensuring smooth, compliant, and welcoming transitions into HOST’s systems.

Conduct Welcome, Onboarding, and Set-up calls with HPs to explain key services, tools, and responsibilities.

2. Hosted Partner Journey Development

Required Experience

3 years experience in customer services, account management or partner management — ideally within a not-for-profit, social enterprise, or global NGO environment.

Proven experience designing and delivering onboarding, training, or service delivery processes for clients or partners.

Strong background in relationship management, with the ability to build trust and communicate clearly with partners from diverse cultural and professional contexts.

2+ years’ experience using and maintaining digital systems (project management and CRM platforms such as ClickUp and Zendesk) to manage workflows or client data.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and empathetically.

About Us
The Bike Project is an award-winning charity which refurbishes second hand bikes and donates them to refugees. We were founded in 2013 by, Jem Stein, after he struck up a friendship and found a bike for Adam, a Darfuri refugee who had fled his home in Sudan after war broke out.
The Bike Project has grown into a national operation with new CEO, hundreds of volunteers, a team of 20 committed staff, roadshows in different cities, an online shop and two workshops, one in the capital and one in Birmingham.
To date we have supported over 15,000 refugees and people seeking asylum by giving them a second-hand bike. In addition, we have supported hundreds through our programmes designed to build confidence and build friendships in the local community.
Duites and Responsibilities
This role oversees the securing and reporting of our Trusts and Foundation income, including working closely with colleagues to develop relevant, impactful and deliverable funding proposals and coordinate the stewardship of key trust and foundation relationships.
The role works closely with all colleagues to ensure a joined-up approach to income generation across the charity and our different supporter groups.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in preparing and submitting successful funding applications and proposals to charitable trusts and foundations, with a track record of securing five and six figure gifts, ideally within the refugee’s sector. You will have experience of working with, and applying for funding from, some of the larger grant organisations.
You will be experienced in identifying suitable prospects, developing pipelines, and managing funder relationships, adopting a strategic approach when working with colleagues across the organisation.
Location
This is a hybrid role, working from home with one day per week in either our London or Birmingham office. The salary is £42,000 for Birmingham-based employees and £45,000 for London-based employees, reflecting the London Living Wage adjustment

About the role
Reporting in to the Financial Planning & Analysis Lead, the Senior Finance Business Partner (Income) will champion strategic financial insight and support within the Income and Public Engagement Department, driving accurate financial planning, analysis, and reporting for income streams, working closely with fundraising and institutional teams, including the development of funding bids.
The post-holder will enable effective decision making through data-driven insights, ensuring financial sustainability and fosters a mindset that aligns with Christian Aid's strategic objectives
Some of the main responsibilities of the Senior Finance Business Partner (Income) include:
- Partner with the Income and Public Engagement team to develop and champion accurate income forecasts, budget plans, and financial models.
- Provide financial insights and challenge assumptions which drive and optimise income generation strategies, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Ensure financial reporting for income is accurate, timely, and meets internal and external compliance requirements, including donor regulations.
- Collaborate with fundraising teams to provide financial insights on donor trends, unrestricted vs. restricted income, and return on investment.
- Identify and drive the implementation of improvements in financial processes related to income tracking and reporting.
- Support the development of fundraising bids by providing financial expertise
About you
Who we are looking for
Essential:
- Professional finance qualification.
- Substantial experience in financial business partnering or financial planning and analysis.
- Demonstrable knowledge of income streams such as fundraising, grants, unrestricted/restricted income, and the financial implications of different funding sources.
- Advanced knowledge of charity sector income streams and financial management.
- Understanding of donor reporting and compliance requirements.
- Understanding of fundraising finance and return on investment analysis.
- Understanding of financial systems and tools (e.g. SUN, Power BI, Excel).
- Highly developed skills in financial analysis, forecasting, and modelling.

About the Role
As Supporter Development Manager, you will provide leadership to the Supporter Development side of the Individual Giving Team, successfully delivering supporter development activity in line with agreed annual targets and our Fundraising Strategy. · Experience of delivering complex donor-centric supporter journeys using a test and learn framework and LTV modelling.
· A track record of leading, motivating, and inspiring marketing teams, together with proven line management experience.

To assist the refuge manager in the day-to-day running of the refuge, developing and delivering a front line service offering support, advice and guidance to women and their children living in the refuge.

The Soldiers' and Aviators' Scripture Readers Association (known as SASRA) is one of the longest-established Christian charities supporting the British Armed Forces. The main function of Regional Managers is to bring before the Christian public the work we do taking the gospel of Jesus Christ and bringing a practical experience of the Christian faith to the young people of the British Army and Royal Air Force.

Senior Research and Development Manager - Research and Evidence
Contract: Fixed term for 24 months (with potential to extend/make perm subject to funding)
Hours: Full Time 35 hours / 1.0 FTE (open to part-time 0.8 FTE)
Salary: £51,349 per annum or £55,512 per annum if based in London
Location: London Fields / Belfast, Northern Ireland / Newton Abbot, Devon / Sheffield / Homebased within the UK (with travel to the office when required)
NCB promotes a hybrid, flexible way of working and ask that office-based staff attend the office for a minimum of 2 days per week.
About the Role
The Senior Research and Development Manager will play an important role in managing NCB’s research and evidence work, supporting our impact and growth and working across teams in a matrix environment. The post holder will be joining the research team at an exciting time, with significant growth in recent years, particularly in the area of evidence synthesis methodologies.
This role requires a strong background in managing and delivering evidence synthesis research projects, including systematic reviews, meta-analysis, qualitative synthesis, and mixed-methods approaches. It involves overseeing key research contracts, providing hands-on project management, ensuring methodological rigour, and delivering high-quality outputs.
The research team at NCB works on several influential projects using a range of research methods and spanning areas including youth justice, social care, early childhood development and education.

Refugee Welcome Officer
Canterbury
£24,752 pa pro rata plus excellent benefits (FTE £30,940)

The Refugee Welcome Officer is an exciting and unique role, supporting groups across the county who engage with the Social Justice Network to take part in the Afghan Welcome Project. You will assist with group formation, volunteer recruitment, training and provide ongoing mentoring to ensure their success.
As Refugee Welcome Officer you will work closely with the groups, local authorities, the Home Office, the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and other key stakeholders to source suitable housing, matching families to accommodation whilst ensuring compliance.
You will build and maintain effective relationships with local agencies, councils, community groups and other sponsors to facilitate resettlement and share best practices, as well as taking the lead for coordinating recruitment and training and support for volunteers. You will also maintain DBS checks, training records and provide ongoing supervision and guidance.
In addition, you will assist with grant applications, fundraising initiatives, marketing and awareness-raising through social media, newsletters, events and community presentations.
You will have a strong passion for supporting resettled families and enabling local communities to be welcoming and inclusive. You will have experience working with volunteers, community groups or charitable organisations, and preferably experience supporting vulnerable individuals or families, including refugees or asylum seekers.
Knowledge of housing processes, private tenancies, and local support services is important, as are excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. You should be confident influencing, negotiating and problem-solving in complex situations.
Experience of delivering training and supporting volunteer development, a full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle and a willingness to travel within Kent, London and the Southeast is essential.
The Canterbury Diocesan Board of Finance employs this role on behalf of the Social Justice Network (SJN), a UK-based charity that works to promote social justice, inclusion, and support for vulnerable communities. One of SJN’s key initiatives is the Afghan Welcome Project, which supports the resettlement of Afghan families across Kent, London, and the Southeast of England. The project works in partnership with government bodies, local authorities, charitable organisations, and community groups to ensure refugee families are safely housed, supported, and integrated into their local communities.

Issues of low income, debt, lack of skills, poor mental health, forced displacement and isolation are complex and closely interlinking, trapping communities and individuals in a web of poverty. Our vision is to see all churches, in every community, coming together to tackle these issues through action, prayer and giving.
Our Kent Refugee Programmes are dedicated to supporting individuals and families rebuilding their lives after forced displacement. We offer a range of services including Welcome Hubs, Arts and Wellbeing activities, ESOL classes, employment support, and casework. Our approach centres on fostering long-term, meaningful connections with local communities, helping restore a sense of stability, dignity, and belonging.
We aim to deliver work through innovative partnerships with other charities, voluntary organisations, and local authorities. We aim to improve access to resources, make local work more effective, and create a framework for others to respond to the social challenges in Kent.
