About Tadamon
Since the start of the genocide in Gaza, more than 1,300 Palestinians have arrived in Britain, with many hundreds more expected over the coming months and years. Some have arrived via boats and others as students or visitors unable to return home and forced to apply for asylum. Added to this are increasing numbers of students, injured children and their families who have been evacuated directly from Gaza to Britain.
Upon arrival they in dire need of support, but often instead find a hostile environment and a charitable sector decimated by legal aid cuts and with limited capacity to assist them. The support that is available has been provided on an ad hoc basis by the Palestinian community and other migrant and faith organisations.
Tadamon aims to formalise much of this ad hoc support, by extending more structured provisions for supporting the Palestinian community in Britain – particularly newly arrived Palestinian refugees and those from Gaza – through casework, community services, access to legal resources, advice and advocacy, mental health support, cultural connection, employment, language and skills training.
Purpose of the Role
Tadamon is seeking an experienced and compassionate Community Caseworker to join our small and growing team.
The postholder will work directly with Palestinian new arrivals, including asylum seekers, refugees, students unable to return home and evacuees from Gaza. Many of our community members are navigating trauma, loss, displacement and complex immigration processes.

Housing First Support Worker – Connect Community Trust (Somerset)
Salary: £27,669.10 per annum (pro rata) 35hrs a week
Are you passionate about walking alongside people as they rebuild their lives? We’re looking for a compassionate and committed Housing First Support Worker to help people move on from homelessness into secure, independent living.
This is a truly person-centred, community-based role where relationships are at the heart of everything. You’ll work with individuals who have often experienced significant trauma and exclusion, offering flexible, long-term support that adapts to their needs. Through patience, consistency, and trust, you’ll support people to maintain their tenancies, improve their wellbeing, and reconnect with their communities.
You’ll hold a small caseload, enabling you to provide meaningful, tailored support – whether that’s helping someone set up their new home, access health and recovery services, manage finances, or simply being a steady, reliable presence in their lives. Working collaboratively with local partners, you’ll play a key role in helping people build a stable and hopeful future.
About you:
You’ll bring experience of working with people facing homelessness, mental health challenges, or other complex needs, alongside a genuine belief that everyone deserves a safe place to call home. You’ll be resilient, empathetic, and able to work both independently and as part of a wider team. Strong communication skills are essential, as is a full driving licence and access to a vehicle, given the rural nature of the role.

Your Role’s Purpose
Young Citizens is recruiting a Programmes Coordinator to play a hands-on role at the heart of our mission to help young people become active, engaged and informed citizens. Working across our portfolio, you’ll support the delivery of a range of programmes, from legal education initiatives such as Mock Trials and The Big Legal Lesson, to Citizenship Workshops and social action programmes like the Make a Difference Challenge.
You’ll coordinate engaging, high-quality experiences for schools, working closely with teachers, volunteers and partners to ensure programmes run smoothly and meet our participation and impact targets. Who we are looking for
You will join a small, dedicated team of delivery staff, making this well suited to someone who is ready to take ownership of their key areas while also contributing to shared priorities across the team. You may have experience in programme delivery, education, events, or a similar role, and be ready to take ownership of a diverse and active portfolio.
This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across different timelines. In your first year
You will play a key role in coordinating the delivery of Young Citizens’ education programmes, ensuring schools, teachers and partners have a positive experience from registration through to programme completion. You will manage programme administration, communications, scheduling and logistics, and act as a main point of contact for participating schools and stakeholders.
You will also support monitoring and evaluation by collecting feedback and impact data, helping to demonstrate outcomes and inform programme improvements. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will contribute to refining systems and processes to strengthen the quality and reach of Young Citizens’ programmes.
Through programme coordination, stakeholder engagement and operational support, this role delivers:
Strong relationships with schools, teachers and partners.
Efficient administrative and communication processes.
Accurate data and insights to evidence impact and improve delivery.
