Our charity
The Sick Children's Trust is the charity that provides a welcoming 'Home from Home' where families with a sick child in hospital can stay. But we're more than bricks and mortar, our friendly, caring staff are there to support families when they really need it.
Hospital can be a lonely and scary place for anyone, but especially a child. Providing around 3,200 families a year with somewhere to stay together just minutes from the hospital means that they can be by their sick child's side and have one less thing to worry about.
The Role
This is a varied and rewarding fundraising management role, focused on developing and delivering an ambitious community and events fundraising programme that generates sustainable income, increases awareness of our work and builds long-term supporter relationships.
You will lead the development of community fundraising across the UK, supporting and inspiring individuals, families, schools, community groups, volunteers and local businesses to raise funds for the charity. At the same time, you will manage a portfolio of challenge and special events, ensuring excellent supporter experiences and strong financial returns.
You will oversee key events including our Carol Service, Supper Club and Golf Day, while also growing participation in challenge events such as the London Marathon, half marathons, walks, cycling events and other fundraising activities. You will identify new opportunities for growth, diversification and supporter acquisition across both community and events fundraising.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across Fundraising, Communications and Marketing, House Teams and external partners, you will help maximise fundraising income, increase engagement and ensure our supporters receive outstanding stewardship.
You will also lead and develop a small fundraising team, creating a collaborative and high-performing culture while supporting individuals to achieve their objectives and develop their skills.
This role requires a proactive and ambitious fundraiser with strong leadership, relationship-building and project management skills, together with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive income growth.
About you
We're looking for someone who is passionate about community and events fundraising and motivated by creating meaningful opportunities for people to support our work.
You will have a proven track record in community fundraising, events fundraising or a related supporter-led income stream, with experience of building strong relationships and engaging supporters from a wide range of backgrounds.
You will be an excellent communicator and collaborator, equally comfortable inspiring volunteers, supporting families who want to fundraise, representing the charity at events, or working with colleagues to develop new campaigns and initiatives.

This vital role within the Landmark Trust’s fundraising team focuses on delivering excellent supporter engagement across the Landmark Friends, Lundy Friends and Marisco Club supporter schemes. You will manage the day-to-day administration of these groups with the highest standards of supporter care and deliver a programme of small events and communications to engage and retain these supporters. Working closely with the Development Manager (Patrons) and other colleagues in Development, you will also support the delivery of events for the Landmark Patrons, and other supporters as needed.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in giving high-quality customer service, with strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail. You will be comfortable speaking to supporters on the phone and at in-person at events, drafting personalised letters and emails, and managing various administrative tasks. While fundraising experience isn’t essential, you will bring experience of a customer-facing or supporter-focused role, excellent organisational skills and, ideally, of working with databases. An interest in the charity sector, and heritage in particular, would be an advantage.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporter engagement, stewardship and recruitment
- Deliver excellent supporter care, responding to enquiries, welcoming new Friends and Lundy supporters and building relationships to ensure that all supporters feel valued and appreciated, and to grow and retain the Landmark and Lundy supporter base.
- Support donor stewardship activities, including drafting timely thank-you communications, responding to email and telephone enquiries, assisting with the production of regular newsletters, and impact stories.

Event coordination and delivery
- Work alongside the Development Manager (Patrons) to:
- coordinate the regular programme of online talks for all supporter schemes
- plan, coordinate and deliver the regular programme of in person events for Landmark Friends, including site visits to Landmark properties and other places of interest.
- Support the Development Manager (Patrons) with the delivery of the Patrons event programme.
- Work within the wider Development team to assist with the planning and delivery of other supporter events, as required e.g. during the fundraising phase of a project.
- Manage event logistics including invitations, RSVPs, guest lists, internal safety and briefing materials and liaising with venues.
- Represent the Landmark Trust, with other members of the Development team, at events.
Data management and administration
- Maintain accurate supporter records within the CRM system, ensuring that data held is accurate, up to date and in line with current best practice in the sector.
- Assist with reporting on fundraising performance and campaigns.
Communications
- Support the creation of engaging content for all supporter schemes across email, digital, and print channels.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Marketing and Engagement teams to support social media posts and wider Landmark communications relating to the supporter schemes.

The Regional Fundraising Manager (National Programme Development) will lead the creation, development and delivery of Camphill Village Trust’s community fundraising programme.
You will establish community fundraising as a sustainable and growing income stream across the trust by creating a framework that can be scaled across Camphill Village Trust nationally.

This is a hybrid role with a minimum of two days per week based within Camphill Village Trust communities.
We are looking for someone who enjoys being out in the community. This is not a desk-based fundraising role. You will spend significant time building relationships, identifying opportunities, meeting supporters and representing Camphill Village Trust across the region.
The successful candidate should live within reasonable commuting distance of our three communities in the north-east (based in North Yorkshire and Middlesbrough). The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, the Philanthropy Manager is responsible for developing and managing individual giving revenue streams (inclusive of membership), alongside their own portfolio of higher-level supporters and legacy donors, working alongside the Head of Philanthropy to shape and implement the overall strategy. · A fundraising strategy for membership and individual giving (mid-level, online, US-based donors, and legacy) is delivered successfully and meets or exceeds annual income targets.
· Successfully engaging with donors and prospects in the Philanthropy Manager’s portfolio to move donors & prospects through the fundraising cycle, resulting in new, renewed, and upgraded giving.
· The Membership scheme and US giving scheme are managed appropriately, adhering to legal and regulatory requirements, monitored and reported on regularly, and are delivered in collaboration with colleagues across the organisation to ensure an exceptional and consistent donor experience.

Forming part of the Greater Manchester VCSE crisis pathway, we are an out-of-hours, non-clinical alternative to A&E for adults to access timely compassionate support from trained recovery workers – the service operates from 3pm to 10pm, 7 days a week.

This important role will manage and lead the day-to-day delivery of a key primary school focused project for the charity, funded by the Westminster Foundation. As Mass Participation Event Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the programme while driving continued growth in income, participation and supporter engagement. You will have responsibility for the development, performance and delivery of the mass participation portfolio, working closely with the Head of Fundraising (Community & Events) to grow income, participation and engagement.
Alongside this overall responsibility, you will have direct ownership of your own area of the portfolio, including the Great North Run, Berlin Marathon, Chicago Marathon, Cape Town Marathon and our wider challenges programme. As we enter an exciting new phase of growth, we're looking for an ambitious and relationship-driven professional to help us build sustainable, diversified income streams that will enable us to increase our impact and reach even more families facing childhood cancer.
We are transforming the way we generate income by focusing on long-term partnerships, smarter use of data and technology, and sustainable fundraising models that maximise impact whilst protecting team capacity. This role will play a key part in helping us achieve that vision.
We're looking for someone who can spot opportunities, build meaningful partnerships, develop long-term supporter relationships and help shape the future of income generation across the charity.
The Opportunity
As our Regional Partnerships & Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for driving sustainable income growth through:
- Corporate partnerships and sponsorship opportunities
- Payroll Giving and employee engagement programmes
- Strategic trusts and grants oversight
- Regular Giving growth and supporter development
- Regional relationship building and network development
- Pipeline management, forecasting and income planning
- Lead and develop our Charity Fundraiser, providing coaching, mentoring and support to build a high-performing fundraising function capable of delivering sustainable long-term growth.
As a member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will play an active role in the strategic leadership of the charity, helping to shape organisational priorities, champion collaboration and contribute to future growth.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience in business development, account management, fundraising or partnership development
- A track record of securing income, sponsorship, partnerships or commercial opportunities
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision makers
- Experience managing pipelines and using CRM systems effectively
- A collaborative and proactive approach with a focus on finding solutions
- The ability to turn opportunities into long-term relationships
