The Church of England's Redress Scheme is being established to provide acknowledgement, support and redress to survivors of Church-related abuse. As part of this important work, we are recruiting two Church Disclosure Officers to support the effective management of information requests, disclosure activity and coordination of information requests across the Church.
As a Church Disclosure Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring requests are managed effectively and in accordance with legal, safeguarding and governance requirements. Acting as a Disclosure Officer, you will be responsible for reviewing, assessing and disclosing information in line with agreed procedures, whilst maintaining strong relationships with dioceses, cathedrals, parishes, safeguarding teams, religious communities and national Church institutions.
Working at the centre of a complex network of Church bodies, you will act as a key point of contact for requests received through the Scheme, ensuring they are assessed, routed appropriately and progressed to completion in a timely and survivor-centred way. The role combines information request coordination, stakeholder engagement, information management and disclosure decision-making, requiring excellent organisational skills, sound judgement and the ability to work confidently with sensitive information.
- Manage information requests relating to the Redress Scheme from receipt through to completion, ensuring they are progressed efficiently and within agreed timescales.
- Receive and assess information requests to determine the appropriate route for action and identify the Church bodies required to respond.
- Working with a range of stakeholders to coordinate information requests across dioceses, cathedrals, parishes, safeguarding teams, religious communities and national Church institutions to obtain relevant information.
- Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, building effective working relationships and providing guidance on Redress Scheme processes and information requirements.
- Serve as a Disclosure Officer for the Redress Scheme, reviewing information received and making informed decisions regarding its relevance and disclosure.
- Manage the collection, review, collation and disclosure of information in accordance with Scheme procedures, UK GDPR, Data Protection legislation and information governance requirements.
- Liaise with Church bodies to ensure information requests are understood, responded to appropriately and completed to the required standard.
- Exercise sound judgement when handling sensitive, confidential and complex information, escalating risks and issues where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and auditable records of requests, decisions, actions and outcomes.
- Create and deliver a process to ensure information requests are progressed within timescales monitoring performance, identifying delays, risks or barriers and working proactively to resolve issues.
- Produce management information and reports on activity, performance, emerging themes and risks.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to the development of processes, guidance and ways of working.
- Support the identification of themes, learning and good practice arising from Redress Scheme activity.
- Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with relevant legislation, safeguarding principles, Church policies and governance requirements, contributing to a survivor-centred and legally compliant service.

Responsibilities and Person Specification:
The Stories and Participation Officer is a fundamental cross-organisational role. Working directly with older people in financial hardship, the role will source, capture and collaborate to share stories, advice and insights from older people, whilst maintaining the highest level of stewardship and safeguarding for this group and supporting organisation wide participation activity.
Reporting into the Participation Manager, you will work champion and deliver meaningful involvement and authentic storytelling to ensure that the experiences of older people are at the centre of Independent Age’s work. You will ensure that participation processes maintain and develop our storytelling expertise and follow good-practice in the sector. The role will recruit and induct older people on a low income to our Lived Experience Network, alert them to opportunities to get involved in shaping and informing Independent Age’s work, facilitate two-way engagement, and work with willing members of the network to share their lived experience and insights, including sharing their story on public and private platforms.
You will need exceptional organisational skills and the ability to proactively drive lived experience work and effective storytelling. Strong verbal and interpersonal skills are essential, along with knowledge of best practice in supporting and co-ordinating lived experience participation including online and offline events, groups and meetings to create listening spaces.

About the role:
SRASAC is looking for an experienced clinical leader to take operational and clinical responsibility for our Children and Young People's Therapeutic Service, ensuring children, young people and their families receive safe, timely and high-quality trauma-informed support. Working under the direction of the Senior Management Team, you'll provide visible clinical leadership across the service, acting as first point of contact for our CYP Therapeutic Practitioners on safeguarding, clinical dilemmas, case allocation and day-to-day operational challenges.
Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you'll hold a specialist clinical caseload, staying connected to frontline practice and supporting children and young people whose needs are particularly complex or difficult to allocate.

The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Finance Officer to join our Support Services Directorate. This is a hybrid role based at NEA’s Newcastle office, with a minimum of one day per week on site.

As Senior Social Challenge Officer, you will lead the growth, delivery and optimisation of the charity’s Social Challenges, Weddings and Birthdays fundraising portfolio. Working closely with the Digital and Experiential Manager, you will strengthen existing products and identify future opportunities through data insight and sector trend analysis. You will oversee the end-to-end project management of digital fundraising activities, from setting targets and KPIs to briefing suppliers, monitoring delivery, and evaluating performance. You will also provide hands-on leadership of two Fundraising Officers.
Essential criteria:
- Experience of managing fundraising or income generation activities and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets across a range of channels and products
- Experience of using an innovation process to identify and implement new activity or improve existing activity.
- Experience in planning and executing digital/Meta-based challenges such as celebrations, and social challenges – as well as related knowledge of these products.

Business Support
· Support the day-to-day operational effectiveness of the charity.
