About the programme
The Faith & Community Development Team supports and strengthens community and faith-based responses to homelessness across England. This role will help shape Housing Justice’s national programme of quality improvement, training and best practice for community and faith-based homelessness services, using insight from our flagship Quality assurance framework, Impact Portal, existing research, and partnership engagement to continue the development of practice standards, resources and learning opportunities for the network.
About you
We are seeking an experienced and organised programme lead with a strong understanding of homelessness, housing policy and practice, and quality improvement. You will bring strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting and facilitating, drafting reports, quality mark standards and guidance. You will also be comfortable managing multiple priorities, managing a small team, working with data and monitoring information, and building positive relationships with local authorities, funders, sector partners and organisations in the Housing Justice network.
About the role
The successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of Housing Justice’s national quality improvement, training and best practice work for community and faith-based homelessness services across England. You will oversee the continued development of the Quality Mark accreditation scheme for emergency accommodation providers, lead the creation of a new Quality Framework for day services, develop an Emergency Accommodation Toolkit, and deliver training, learning events and communities of practice.
The postholder will provide leadership to a small team, with line management responsibility for up to two members of staff, and will work closely with partners to strengthen service quality, safety, effectiveness and sustainability across the sector.

You will have excellent digital and IT skills, including Microsoft 365, Excel and Word, with the ability to adopt and apply AI-enabled productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot or equivalent) to improve ways of working.
You will also be confident in building relationships and working in partnership with shelters, day services, churches, community projects, funders, and other stakeholders.
About the role
The successful candidate will provide essential operational, administrative and coordination support to the Faith and Community Development Team, working closely with the London Partnerships and Development Lead. Following the landmark Supreme Court judgment in the Tigere case, which helped secure fairer access to higher education for young migrants, We Belong has continued working to ensure that young people can progress into higher education. However, more work is needed. Young migrants can experience significant barriers to educational attainment, further and higher education, employment and personal development because of their immigration status.
These barriers can arise long before a young person reaches the point of applying to university, beginning an apprenticeship or entering employment. We recognise that university is not the only pathway to success and that young people should be supported to explore a range of routes that reflect their ambitions, strengths and circumstances.
Early intervention is therefore essential to ensure that young migrants understand their rights, receive accurate information and appropriate support, and are able to make informed decisions about their education, training, employment and future.

In this role, you will be working collaboratively with other CSP organisers and colleagues across the wider Employment Relations and Union Services (ERUS) team, to support the continued development of the CSP as an effective trade union.

As our Refugee Support Worker, you will help people rebuild confidence, navigate complex systems, and develop meaningful connections within the community.

The Role:
We are seeking a Refugee Support Worker to provide compassionate, practical and trauma-informed support to refugees and asylum seekers accessing our services. The role combines one-to-one support, advocacy, community engagement, practical assistance and partnership working to help individuals rebuild their lives, develop independence, improve wellbeing and become active members of their community.
You will support individuals to access essential services, overcome barriers, build confidence and strengthen social connections. You will also help coordinate community activities and community lunch programmes, working alongside volunteers and partner organisations to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for people seeking sanctuary.
This is a frontline role where your empathy, organisational skills and ability to build trusting relationships will make a tangible difference to the lives of refugees and asylum seekers in Newport.
· Providing one-to-one support and advocacy to refugees and asylum seekers

· Provide practical finance support, operational coordination, and control support to help Sporting Equals transition to a stable, robust position following the bringing of the finance function in-house.
· Deliver the day-to-day operational support, records maintenance, evidence gathering, and internal audit checks required to make the organisation's financial systems work effectively. The post will ensure financial risks are managed and adequate control and assurance measures are in put in place, alongside reporting to the board and the senior leadership team.

That afternoon you could be welcoming someone who has recently arrived in the UK, introducing them to activities at the Hub and connecting them with the support they need. Based at our RenewALL Hub in East Ham, you'll coordinate activities, lead community outreach, support volunteers and work alongside statutory, voluntary and community organisations to create opportunities that improve people's wellbeing and strengthen local communities.

You'll support residents facing a range of challenges, including migration, loneliness, disability, digital exclusion and social isolation, ensuring everyone can access opportunities and services in a way that works for them.
