As part of the NFCC People Culture and Leadership (PCL) Hub this post plays a key role in supporting and enabling fire and rescue services (FRS) to drive organisational and culture change.

The postholder will use their subject matter knowledge, skills and experience alongside the principles of project management to support the design, development and implementation of a range of PCL products and services. Whilst the role supports all PCL activities, the role will have a focus on Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)-related projects, therefore experience in this area is particularly desirable. Moreover we require someone with relevant knowledge and experience in one or more fields of the people/HR/OD/EDI profession.

Evaluating the effectiveness of the NFCC’s PCL products and their benefits to FRS’s will be a key aspect of the role and the postholder will undertake a range of evaluation activities to identify improvements and make recommendations for improvement. They will be responsible for implementing agreed changes and maintaining PCL products to ensure they remain fit-for-purpose.

Stakeholder engagement is a key element of the role by building effective relationships and establishing networks to improve the uptake/adoption of PCL products and drive culture change.

The Health Information Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our patient and public information about bowel cancer and will work closely with the Senior Health Information Officer and Health Information Manager in the development of information content.

About the role
We are recruiting for a Policy Officer to join on a full-time, permanent contract, working 35 hours per week.

This role is key to supporting Alzheimer’s Society’s ambitions to drive major system and policy change in diagnosis, care and treatment across England, Northern Ireland and Wales at an exciting time in dementia policy. Evidence-based, collaborative, engaging and innovative policymaking will be central to everything the Policy Officer does.

As Policy Officer you will play an important role in determining what the Society thinks about the big issues affecting people affected by dementia. Through robust scoping and policy development, you will help to identify the action needed to affect change and help ensure our influencing activity is evidence-driven, timely and relevant across the three nations in which we work – nationally and locally.

You will be an expert policy advisor to colleagues across the Society and support Policy Managers to deliver against agreed integrated plans, including helping to monitor progress and performance and working with others to gather evidence, insight and data to underpin our policy work. Key to the success of this role is engaging others in the policy development process, sharing analysis, opinion and insight to inspire high-quality, dynamic policymaking.

About you
Joining us, you will have experience working in a complex policy environment, with sound understanding of the wider political environment, preferably in relation to health and care. The role

The Project Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of our Council funded Adult Bereavement Service in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. This service aims to provide accessible, accessible, empathetic and effective support for adults affected by bereavement, particularly sudden or drug/alcohol-related deaths. The Project Delivery Officer will work collaboratively as part of the local and regional volunteer and staff team. The Events Manager will lead the planning and delivery of Degrees’ international events, including workshops that bring together funded researchers and the biennial Degrees Global Forum conference. Purpose of job

The postholder will lead, develop and motivate a team of support practitioners to ensure that immediate
pastoral resettlement support packages are developed and delivered to meet the specific individual

Safeguarding Policy to follow up any safeguarding related issues and ensure they are dealt with
effectively with appropriate referrals to safeguarding boards, local authorities social services and
where necessary the Police.
 To provide and seek training, support and guidance for staff and to implement staff training
programmes. Ensuring all staff have completed any mandatory training and any training specific
to service delivery. Ensure that staff maintain Continuing Professional Development logs that
record trainings undertaken.
 Monitor support service ensuring that support plans and risk assessments are reviewed, evaluated

The Support and Integration Officer are responsible for providing excellent standards of support,
as well as quality information advice and guidance, to enable the resettlement and successful
integration of refugees. This role is one of the main pillars of the service that ACH provides.

 Completing an initial Pre-Tenancy Assessment for each person referred to the service as
well as developing a personalised plan of support for them ensuring that it is reviewed
regularly
 Giving advice and support on a range of issues including housing, finance, education,
employment, health and immigration, as required.

networks / advocacy/ volunteering / training / employment opportunities etc.

We’re the Melanoma Fund, the charity behind the national Sunguarding® movement, a mission to stop melanoma and other skin cancers before they start. Through our work with schools, sports bodies and outdoor organisations, we turn sun protection from a seasonal reminder into a cultural norm.

We’re seeking an experienced fundraising professional to help us scale that impact. You’ll lead on trusts and foundations, sharpening our income pipeline and crafting evidence-based bids that fund school programmes, sport partnerships and community-facing initiatives across the UK.

This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for a self-starter who can quickly translate social impact into compelling, data-driven proposals. You’ll work directly with the CEO, shaping the systems, materials and insight base that will underpin our next growth phase.

Summary

You will plan, create and coordinate clear, relevant communications that drive engagement with the new package of support for clergy around financial wellbeing. This will include supporting engagement with clergy and diocesan partners, and encouraging take up of events, tools and products. You will be responsible for creating/maintain great online content, promoting planned events, producing accessible written materials, and designing relevant and targeted communication campaigns working as part of an integrated team with other Pensions Board functions. This role will involve building and managing relationships with diocesan communications teams, other Communication specialists within the National Church, and external suppliers to deliver timely, consistent and measurable communications across digital and offline channels.

Content Management and Editorial Standards

• Curate, design, maintain and update the content of our new financial wellbeing portal.
• Devising and delivering creative ideas for digital, audience-focused content e.g. event videos, case studies etc - incorporating recording, editing, audio content etc - to support newsletters, emails and portal development.
• Work within and continue to evolve our tone of voice guidelines, to ensure our communications are in plain English, accessibly and relevant to our audiences.
• Curate resource packs and how-to guides
• Uphold editorial standards, quality control, version control, and approval workflows

Planning and Delivery

• Work as part of a wider Pensions Board network focused on integrated communications planning.
• Working with senior leaders, to design and execute targeted and long-term communications campaigns to deliver strategic goals.
• Coordinate our email and newsletter activity, working with other teams to get consistency of message across other channels (e.g. through social media or into Church/diocesan networks).

Support product pilots, service launches, and local events.

Materials Production and Supplier Oversight

• Draft written materials: emails, guides, briefs, articles
• Commission and manage supplier-produced collateral
• Oversee procurement, supplier relationships, and template libraries

Stakeholder Engagement and Event Support

• Collaborate with Pensions and Housing colleagues to help align messaging to different customer groups.
• Support senior leaders with internal team updates.
• Act as the main communications contact for the service, working with diocesan communication teams, the NCI comms team, and existing/potential service partners.
• Collaborate with our Events Coordinator on promotional and post-event materials

Insight, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement

• Use data to segment audiences, test messaging, and measure impact
• Monitor performance metrics and report on campaign outcomes
• Ensure adherence to data protection regulations in our communication approach.
• Support the Board's Safeguarding policy and procedures
• Embed best practices: editorial calendars, A/B testing, and single-source content governance

• A salary of £48,557 per annum, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.

About the Role

Accountable to: Chief Executive Officer

Salary: £45,200–£55,200 (depending on skills and experience)

This newly created role will play a pivotal part in expanding the charity’s income and influence. You will:

• Lead on new business development, nurturing existing supporters and securing new partnerships with developers, housing associations, local authorities, funders and other stakeholders.
• Shape and grow their consultancy and service offer, helping reduce reliance on grant funding.
• Support the roll-out of their Growth Lab, working with practitioners and community groups to develop innovative models, products and services for Community Land Trusts.
• Capture insights, impact and learning to strengthen the case for scaling these innovations.
• Work closely with the CEO on funding proposals, partnership development and strategic initiatives.
