Since June 2013, Wigan Youth Zone has offered young people from across Wigan the opportunity to meet friends, have new experiences, learn new skills and access the support they need to develop and achieve their potential.
This purpose built, state-of-the-art youth facility is open to all young people across Wigan aged from 8 to 19 (up to 25 with additional needs), striving to offer something for everyone, regardless of their interests or abilities. About the role:
You'll have responsibility for securing significant new corporate partnerships (£12k +) for Wigan Youth Zone as well as provide excellent stewardship and relationship management of existing Patrons and Supporters, ensuring support is renewed. You'll work with the Board of Trustees, the CEO, existing Patrons and the Senior Management Team to generate new leads, secure new corporate partners and long-term financial support. This role is vital to WYZ's long-term plans for sustainability and you'll play a key part in enabling the young people of our borough to lead healthy, happy, and aspirational lives.

Nacro have launched the Community Support Service – Tier 2 (CAS-2) which is a national service commissioned by Ministry of Justice to provide accommodation as an alternative to custody.
This role is based within our team in the East of England. As a Support Worker, you will provide exceptional housing support services and housing management services to a diverse range of service user including those on Bail, prison leavers, and those going through the criminal justice system. The Team provides flexible and holistic support to residents with a wide range of support needs. We aim to support them to find and keep a stable home at the end of their CAS-2 placement. You will manage a caseload of clients in properties in your allocated patch in the East of England.
This role provides an excellent springboard into other criminal justice professions and housing roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective support and safety plans with the service user referring to specialist agencies as required.
- Ensure that properties are always adequately equipped, maintained, furnished, and cleaned.
- Support residents to understand responsibilities that will help them keep their CAS-2 and future accommodation.
- Empower and motivate service users to identify and achieve desired outcomes.
- Develop a move-on plan with service users at the earliest opportunity, identifying realistic options for their future home.

The Eve Appeal, working together with the Department of Health and Social Care, is delivering a groundbreaking programme on gynaecological health to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in London and beyond.

About the role

About the Role
Working within a small fundraising team, the Partnerships and Event Fundraiser will make a significant contribution to securing a legacy for thousands of local young people through the generation of new income. This income generation is broken into two programmes: the Community Fundraising programme and the SME Corporate Partnerships programme, both of which you'll be involved in. As Partnerships and Event Fundraiser, you'll be working across a number of projects and events to engage with businesses about creative ways in which they can support the Hive Youth Zone.
The Community programme will encourage the local community to fundraise for the Hive through approaching schools, groups, and associations, and recruiting participants for events. The SME Corporate Partnerships programme will encourage businesses to donate up to £1000 through initiatives such as Charity of the Year applications, staff fundraising initiatives, and recruiting support from smaller local businesses. You will also support and inspire existing corporate partners as part of your role.
About You
This role is a perfect opportunity for a fundraiser, with a proven track record of securing funds via community and corporate fundraising, to set up a new Community programme at the Hive. We are also very much open to candidates from a sales, marketing, and account management background, as well as candidates with events and projects experience. To be successful in this role, you will have experience meeting financial targets, and managing a pipeline of potential supporters/donors/clients.

About the role:
This role is based in Rochdale Police station along with some hybrid working, you must be prepared to deliver and facilitate recognised support and behaviour change programmes to perpetrators of domestic abuse (DA) and those at risk of becoming perpetrators. As a Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker you will:

About Unlocked
Unlocked Graduates exists to break cycles of reoffending, with particular focus on breaking the link between disadvantage and reoffending. Currently prison is not a place which successfully does this: the average prisoner has 16 previous convictions and 48 percent of prisoners reoffend within a year of release. This is a phenomenally interesting role as it offers the opportunity to radically reimagine what incredible training can look like for a singularly powerful role: the prison officer is the only professional who reaches every single prisoner including the most vulnerable and challenging. They set the culture on the landings and have the power to create a safe and secure environment that is focused on rehabilitation. For this reason, at the heart of Unlocked is a highly effective training provision developing the leaders our prison service needs. It is this area that you will be responsible for.
Evidence guides everything we do here at Unlocked. It’s the foundation upon which our award-winning leadership development training programme is based on. We’re looking for a Head of Curriculum with a deep passion for best practice pedagogy, curriculum and assessment to help us continue to develop our participants into transformative prison officers and extraordinary future leaders. You will use your deep understanding of pedagogical theory and an uncompromising enthusiasm for how people learn to oversee an entire two-year programme of study, from initial residential training all the way through to ongoing professional development.
Our team has worked hard to craft an outstanding training programme for our participants. Our practice-based curriculum and pedagogy is built on the work of Doug Lemov, and the knowledge aspects of the curriculum are embedded in theories of explicit teaching rather than discovery learning for novice practitioners, as per the work of E.D. Hirsch. These theories will be therefore essential understanding for anyone taking on the role.
Positioned as pioneers in the prison sector, we are proud to have built a strong reputation for developing quality training for a frontline public sector role. Notably, elements of our training have been integrated into His Majety’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) training of all new staff, and various other countries and related sectors have reached out for us to share our training expertise too. As the Head of Curriculum, you will hold a pivotal role, uniquely positioned to directly influence and create proof points for change across the whole service.

Your Impact / Specific responsibilities will include the following:

Manage grantee partner relationships, including building trust and openness, identifying capacity needs, administrating grants, monitoring progress and fulfilling reporting requirements.

Provide administrative support across the Programmes Team with grant management e.g. preparing of grant paperwork, reviewing partner reports and checklists (proposals), monitoring pipelines.

Contribute to communication products, including donor reports and applications, to support Synchronicity Earth’s fundraising and philanthropic goals.
