The Director of Corporate Partnerships will lead the development of strategic corporate partnerships with key organisations in priority sectors, generating significant income for Kew, influencing and supporting the implementation of nature positive strategies across the business sector and helping to facilitate business voices in influencing key audiences. With your team you will be responsible for building a pipeline of potential partnerships at a variety of levels, including an effective corporate membership scheme, corporate sponsorship and long term project funding. 

You will work to lead change across Kew to embrace the full potential of corporate partnerships navigating the organisational and logistical challenges required to deliver long-term transformation. You will be a member of the Development Directorate leadership team and work closely with the Kew Director, Trustees and Development Council to maximise the potential of high-level networks. You will build Kew’s external profile with potential corporate partners, proactively implementing a business development plan and working with key stakeholders such as marketing and comms, science and horticulture to facilitate this.  You will carefully steward and grow Kew’s existing corporate partners, foster long term loyal connections.

Our Muscle Group meetings provide a warm, friendly space for people affected by muscle-wasting and weakening conditions to meet with others in their local area. The groups meet either in person or on Zoom; three meetings per year are held in each of the 14 regions. Muscle Group meetings are a relaxed, confidential forum for people to ask questions, share experiences and learn from guest speakers. They should be fully accessible to all, including family, friends, and carers of those living with conditions.

You will lead on the organisation of these meetings and management of the volunteers who chair them, ensuring throughout that meetings meet the needs of our community.

About the team:

Kinship is in the third year of delivering the first national peer support service for kinship carers in England. We have created 145 peer support groups and supported and trained kinship carers to create and lead their groups in a way which meets their needs.

With a new contract from the Department for Education, we’re now entering a new phase of our service with a focus on:

• creating 90 new sustainable peer support groups in areas of most need over 21 months;

• sustaining and developing the current 145 existing groups; and

• providing support and help to build a sustainable and welcoming community for all peer support groups across England.

This role will coordinate the ‘hub’ resources and content with a focus on supporting sustainability and building resilience of peer support groups and their leaders.  Specifically, this role will manage an ‘online hub’ for support group leaders and provide an excellent ‘customer experience’ for all support group leaders. You will support the hub innovation.

Together with the Peer Support Hub Lead you’ll take a human centred approach to working with group leaders to develop a central hub of accessible and useful resources and activities (for in person and online).  You’ll build good relationships with support group leaders, building in their insight to develop resources and activities that will support them in their role.

About the role:

The role of the Peer Hub Coordinator will provide operational delivery of the Peer Support Hub. With excellent marketing, communication and digital skills this role will work with the Peer Support Hub Lead to develop an ‘in person’ and online peer support community.

 In this context, your role supports the centralised ‘hub’ of the service, delivering an exciting programme of training, speakers, toolkits and resources to help peer support group leaders develop, build and sustain their group well. This will be building on and innovating the current Support Group Network.

 Your role will support group leaders to feel connected and supported, learn from each other and build a powerful and resilient peer community.

The type of person we're looking for:

Super organised, you are someone who uses their initiative, anticipates challenges and proactively provides seamless solutions. 

You’ll be comfortable with using digital technology and tools to build communities and develop resources. You’ll be curious about digital community tools, and you’ll want to work closely with our digital and content team to develop an amazing online experience.

You’ll also be a people person – understanding how building ‘in person’ relationships is key to unlocking community power for kinship carers.

You’ll be the right-hand person to the Peer Support Hub Lead making sure we deliver a really brilliant experience.

• Operational delivery, innovation and management of a dedicated online and in-person peer support ‘hub’.

• Building direct and positive relationships with support group leaders.

• Roll out mechanisms and tools to support groups to remain sustainable including but not limited to; informal buddy matches, online hub for support group leaders, monthly e-news, monthly speakers, themed specialist training (like setting up a safe Facebook group / promoting your group) and celebration events.

About this role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Reprieve team as our Head of Digital and Mass Engagement covering parental leave. With the support of the Deputy Director of Development, you will lead our fast‐moving and creative Mass Engagement Team, who power fundraising across multiple channels. Post Title: Team Leader

Location: The post will be based primarily at University College London Hospital (UCLH) Euston. However, all Redthread team members must be flexible about supporting other sites when needed. Regular visits to Redthread’s main offices and other projects and activities at various locations across London, the Midlands, and the UK will be required.

BACKGROUND

The Helen Bamber Foundation (HBF) is a pioneering Human Rights charity supporting refugees and asylum seekers who are the survivors of trafficking and torture, including gender-based and ‘honour-based’ violence. From our offices we provide specialist medical consultation, therapeutic care, legal protection and practical support to survivors of human rights violations by helping men, women and children heal the emotional and physical damage they have suffered through torture, trafficking or other forms of cruelty.  We also take the learning from our work to develop partnerships to increase survivors’ access to services, and use the learning generated by our clients and partners to drive system change.

Asylum Aid operates as an independent charity, led by its own Executive Director within the group structure.  For over thirty years, Asylum Aid has been providing legal representation to some of the most vulnerable people seeking asylum. It has built an expert service, delivering vital and life-saving services in some of the most complex legal cases, with a particular speciality working with unaccompanied children, survivors of trafficking, torture or other forms of human cruelty, and stateless people. In this role you will support both charities alongside the Operations Manager.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

As the facilities coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure and well-functioning work environment in our building. You will be responsible for performing regular building safety and security checks, maintaining the office and ensuring the office is tidy each day you are present.  There is the possibility that this role will be increased to full time in the future.

HBF currently has an office in Camden and will be relocating to Old Street in September-October 2024.  And Asylum Aid has an office in Westminster which will be in use until at least the end of the year. In this role you will therefore be responsible for the conducting necessary tasks to facilitate the moves and the smooth transitions to the new office.

You will be managed by the Operations Manager and work closely with the Finance and Facilities Assistant as well as the Client Services Leads, Asylum Aid’s Legal Team Administrator, and the Executive Director of Asylum Aid to provide coordination and maintenance of the office facilities.

Our Complex Needs Service is seeking a Service Manager, who would like to develop their career with a sector-leading organisation. As our Service Manager, you will provide effective management of a high support accommodation service for single homeless people in Camden. Residents of the service will be faced with multiple disadvantages, mental health, substance use and dual diagnosis.

About you:

• Proven track record and demonstrable expertise in the provision of a Psychologically informed Environment for vulnerable adults with complex needs that incorporates effective strengths and needs assessment, structured planned support, goal setting and advocacy and that is delivered both through structured case work and group work. 

• Experience of managing a team, developing the skills and practice of others with the proven ability to motivate and manage a quality service focused on achieving defined outcomes.

• A track record of delivering high quality outcomes for clients working within a strengths and recovery model.

• The ability to plan, monitor and evaluate services, to ensure that they are responsive to the needs of the clients, meet the purpose they have been commissioned for and fulfil the service specification.

• Have strong networking skills and proven ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

St Hilda’s East has a 135-year history of combating deprivation and social exclusion in East London. The role involves designing, leading, and facilitating various activities and sessions aimed at improving physical and mental wellbeing, and improving community connection amongst older people. Join us as a Senior Community Organiser on the groundbreaking Power to Prosper project, a partnership between the New Economics Foundation and The Runnymede Trust. This initiative aims to address the underlying causes of poverty, inequality, and problem debt in the United Kingdom, focusing on racial equity and community empowerment.

Key Responsibilities:

● Leadership and Strategy: Lead and manage a team of community organisers working in partnership with organisations across multiple locations in the UK. Develop and implement a comprehensive community organising strategy aligned with the project's goals.

● Community Engagement: Coach and support community organisers in building relationships and mobilising impacted communities, particularly those from Black and minority ethnic backgrounds, single-parent families, and households with disabled members.

● Campaign Development: Collaborate with partner organisations to design and execute impactful campaigns that address economic inequalities and advance racial justice.

● Capacity Building: Equip community members with organising and leadership skills to take collective action on local, regional, and national issues related to inequality, poverty, and problem debt.

● Research Collaboration: Work closely with research teams to integrate participatory action research (PAR) methodologies into community engagement activities. Analyse qualitative data and contribute to evidence-based advocacy.

Required Skills and Experience:

● Demonstrable experience in community organising, leadership, and campaign development.

● Strong commitment to racial justice and anti-racism, with experience working directly with impacted communities.

● Skilled in facilitation, communication, and relationship-building across diverse audiences.

● Understanding of participatory action research (PAR) methodologies and qualitative data analysis.

● Knowledge of the wider political context influencing economic inequalities and social justice issues.

Additional Information:

This role reports to the Head of Community Organising and involves close collaboration with the Head of Research at The Runnymede Trust. Initial priorities will include recruiting and mentoring two Regional Organisers to strengthen our presence and impact across the UK.
